Apartment in woodworking workshop, sauna, pool

ChristofRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Nina & Noel’s place! Even though the place was small, it was cozy and nicely decorated with wooden carvings by Noel. We met Noel when we arrived, and he was very attentive and open. Noel and Nina were very quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything. Noel was always up for a chat and tips for local activities. The apartment is nice and quiet, with lovely views of the surrounding valley, and a short drive away from Bantry. The sauna was great as well after a long day of hiking. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Nina and Noel’s place if you’re looking for a quiet, cosy holiday surrounded by nature and friendly people! (And two outside cats) 🐈‍⬛🌳 Thank you Noel and Nina for a wonderful stay!

10a Mountain view Sheen Falls Kenmare

CathyRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We were a family of 4 adults - a 16 year old and an 8 year old and the house and location were ideal for us as the 2 adults and 2 kids were visiting from Australia. We were able to entertain friends who popped in as there was so much space, well equipped kitchen, huge BBQ etc. We loved this house and would go back. The only negative was the WiFi was not great in the house, but it's also not great reception in the area - so hopefully that will improve. If you were going to work while staying it wouldn't be easy to do so. A great experience was had by all and the highlight was being able to use the pool and leisure centre in Sheen Falls Hotel across the road. Whenever we needed anything Paudie or Kathy were on it immediately.
A light-toned couch with soft cushions is positioned in front of a modern shelving unit. The shelving displays framed photographs and decorative items. The room features neutral walls and a warm wooden floor, accompanied by a plush area rug.

Standing Stones

GraceRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I don’t normally write much in these reviews, but there are not enough words to describe how awesome this place was and Anne. When we got there, there was a terrible storm and we couldn’t find the place so we called Anne and she got out in the storm and met us in town and then wanted to know if we would like for her to show us where the grocery store was or to get anything for us. Even in that awful storm! When we got there, Anne had a beautiful roaring fire waiting for us. A perfect ending to a long stormy drive. The views are absolutely stunning. The house was wonderful! If we come back to Ireland again, we will definitely get back in touch with Anne.

The Peaceful Puffin Portmagee

EricRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Peaceful Puffin was the perfect little place to stay while in and around Portmagee. The little strip of shop and restaurants is walkable and site like Kerry Cliffs and Bray Head are only a few minutes drive. The home was clean and comfortable. The washer/dryer was very nice to have after several days of adventuring around The Ring of Kerry. The internet was speedy, great for checking in on things as we rested after a day of hiking and sight seeing. Just like the pictures show there is plenty of great spaces to relax and read or watch something on the TV. Our family really enjoyed the stay and felt like this was our little home away from home while exploring Ireland.

Stunning Waterville Home!

debrahRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The Cloisters was a fabulous property. Maybe a name plate would be very helpful to locate. This was very clean, beautifully furnished. The kitchen was really home from home. We enjoyed cooking and a very lovely dining table too. En-suite shower room was lovely but the shower was a great shower. The water system was noisy across the house, which was heard wherever you were. This didn’t spoil our stay but worth knowing if you had young children. A couple of dodgy toilet seats perhaps require replacing or adjusted. We had a power outage ( not expected) Denise got back to us very quickly and advised as the whole town was out. We had a lovely stay and would come back. The house probably isn’t lived in and therefore the slight small concerns wouldn’t be known to property owner. One last thing would be a towel ring would be very handy in the en-suite as only one towel rail. Otherwise a fantastic stay in a wonderful small seaside town . We visited family there too.

Fantastic weekend at Michael's beautiful countryside house. We do this trip all around Ireland every year and this was right up there with the best. So cozy, wholesome and peaceful. I love this part of the country and staying in Michaels place made the trip even better. Beautiful land and scenery and sheep all round, right on a beauty hiking trail too. Michael is a great host would highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a place to get away from it all, look no further. Stephen’s home is idyllic. It really does feel like a home away from home, nestled into the glen with a view of the wild Atlantic and The Skelligs. Whether you’re staying in and reading by the fire, or going out to explore the wonders of Kerry, it’s the perfect base. Stephen’s guide to the home and surrounding area is so comprehensive and useful. No stone is left unturned. We were a bit sad to drive away from the house and cannot wait to go back.
