Black Lodge

KarenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We’ve had a fantastic stay at Black Lodge. Fiona is a wonderful host, the house was immaculate and has beautiful views, a great base to explore Kinsale and Cork. We felt very lucky being able to walk down to the beach and we spotted lots of different birds on the way. The park and bakery in Ballinspittle were so handy. The girls loved playing fetch with D-for! We recommend the drive to Blarney Castle, the Scilly walk to Charles Fort in Kinsale and a visit to Dock Beach. We’ve lots of happy memories to take home with us.

PERIWINKLE COTTAGE, with the most amazing sea view

KariRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Our family of 4 loved our stay at Peter’s cottage! Peter was a gracious host, met us to get checked in and share info on the cottage as well as recommendations in/around Youghal. We arrived to everything we needed for breakfast the next day, bottle of wine and other beverages, and beautiful flowers. The view is spectacular, walking along the boardwalk is peaceful, and restaurants, pubs, boutiques enjoyable. Highly recommend Peter’s cottage!

Luxury Lodges - perfect for couples

Absolutely loved our stay. The place was very clean, cosy, and warm – ideal for a relaxing getaway. It felt really private, and the self check-in and check-out made everything super easy. We didn’t have to communicate with anyone the whole time. The sauna was fab, and they kindly offered us a late check-out so we could book it for 11am and enjoy it without rushing. Would 100% recommend!

Modern, comfortable, well equipped suite. Thick stone wall on roadside muted traffic. Sweet, private eating area outside at the back. Fresh mint plant in kitchen was a nice touch. Location very short cab ride from downtown Cobh, but not safely walkable due to narrow road. Host very welcoming. Would go there again.

Cosy Seaside Cottage Baltimore

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was the cottage experience we were hoping for in Ireland! We loved the character of the cottage with so much thought put into every detail and texture. The art and decor were very tasteful and the amenities were good and practical. We especially loved making a fire each night even though we aren't terribly experienced at it! And the views from all the windows of the peaceful vegetation were so calming. And the private sitting areas in the yard were delightful - one with an ocean view! Their dog was sweet and friendly, too. The instructions for using the hot water were clear, but somehow we mixed them up so struggled a little with the shower but got it straight eventually! Aisling and Donagh were delightful hosts. A short drive away, Baltimore is a true gem of a town with breathtaking scenery and a rich cultural scene, and it even has a michelin star restaurant if that's your speed. Plus the fun algiers pub! We hope to come back again soon

Eileen and Robert were perfect hosts. They could not have been more helpful and the cottage was spotlessly clean. The location was as excellent for touring and our hosts had given us excellent advise of where to visit. This was our first Air B@B and everything was perfect. We loved our stay - the house felt very secluded with beautiful views and our son loved the cows in the nearby field, as well as the visits from the dog next door. It is a traditional house that matches the description and the pictures. It is only a short drive to the local shops / town which was great. Thank you for such a nice stay and for all your local recommendations!
