Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Wasilla

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The lake provided a lot of entertainment for us when we were just hanging out at the house. We used the 2 kayaks and canoe quite a bit to fish or just paddle around the lake. The swans were out a few times too. We also enjoyed making s’mores in the really nice fire pit (bring your own s’mores ingredients & firewood). The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with lots of appliances provided. Beds were very comfy! 2 bedrooms had an amazing view of the lake (master and one queen), while the other 2 rooms had televisions. The master bathroom was very spacious and had dual shower heads. Make sure to follow the directions Daniel provides when checking in because Google Maps does not have an accurate location for the house, but we found out that Apple Maps worked great. Location was good, only 10 minutes from stores and restaurants, but felt very secluded and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Alaska!

We rented this place on our way back from Denali NP in the summers. The place was really easy to find, and the check-in was a breeze. We arrived late and needed somw creamer for our drinks, since there were no shops nearby. Kale was generous enough to let us get it from her personal stash. We had a good night's rest and would love to come again

Great place! Beautiful surroundings. Easy drive to pretty much anywhere as we drove to Anchorage, Seward and Willow as well as locally to Wasilla and Palmer. Super clean including furniture, carpet and rugs. Comfortable beds. We look forward to staying again! Thanks for sharing this amazing place!

The host was helpful and very polite. The house was perfect. We had enough room for 5 of us and were able to cook dinner and breakfast, thanks to well stocked pots, pans and utensils. The coffee maker came in clutch as we all love a cup in the morning. We had issues with our vehicle starting and when I let the owner know we would be a few minutes late leaving, they had responded quickly and understood our dilemma. Thank you for the amazing stay. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I’ll plan future stays here.

The place is incredible and beautiful, the cabin is perfect and very clean, perfect for going with children!

Cozy cabin was just as advertised. Khyle was responsive and close by. Clean linens, big pillows, clean shower, mini fridge with air fryer and microwave for amenities. Books up fast! Definitely would stay again.

It far exceeded our expectations! The home is BEAUTIFUL, and very large! Gorgeously decorated ! Two floors, tons of space for multiple people. Cute little extras like toys and things to do for kids , kcups and a keurig, little toothpastes in the bathrooms and the best smelling toiletries ! The location is perfect! Just a short 1 minute drive from Parks Hwy and all of the stores and restaurants. Yet peaceful and beautiful on a lake with playground and private dock. We saw beavers swimming in the lake , and moose walking in the driveway two nights in a row! It was amazing! We came for a kids sports tournament at the Menard Center and it took only about 8 minutes to drive there each day. Trenitie is super communicative, answering my questions when I reached out to her even late at night ! Super appreciated the promptness. I can’t say enough great things about this place! And hope to stay there yearly when we come for sporting events !

The unit was in the right location for our use. The neighborhood was quiet. I would recommend dish cloths besides the drying cloths. Thank you for the nice stay!

Rebecca was a wonderful host. Her home is located in the most beautiful location with mountains blanketing the horizon and a lake on the property. Rebecca is very friendly and responsive. We definitely plan to be back and for a slightly longer time next time.

No complaints. I loved that the kitchen was very well stocked and there were plenty of useful condiments. Having the extra toiletries was very nice. Great location between Anchorage and Wasilla. Both Jeff and his wife were friendly and so very nice to meet.

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

Our stay was amazing, the place is very cozy and has everything you would need while being completely surrounded by the nature which brings the feeling of tranquility. The host was very responsive and helped us with everything. We definitely recommend this place.

Jaime's place was exactly what I was looking for and I couldn't have asked for a better host. Jaime was very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had for local recommendations or ideas of things to do in the area.

This cabin is so cozy and perfect for a getaway. I absolutely love everything about it. It makes you feel right at home in the country. Thank you Robin for sharing this awesome place with us. We will definitely be back again.

Took a boys trip with 3 friends and I selected Susanna’s home as our second choice as our first choice had raised the price of rental. This was easily the best decision we made. Susanna’s home in Wasilla was a prime location for our boys trip as we were able to adventure in any direction and enjoy amazing sights without having to drive an extra hour if you’re staying in downtown Anchorage. I was impressed with all of the amenities offered by Susannas home. The kitchen was very spacious and was stocked with every seasoning we could need. It often became our central gathering area of the house. Another treat to be able to view the Aurora Borealis from the comfort of the outside deck. Huddling around the fire pit was also very calming during these snowy nights. Overall, I would say this home is excellent place for you and your family (or friends) to stay if you want to enjoy the natural beauty of Lower Alaska without having to drive too far. Paid attention to the back yard but didn't see a moose come thru. Plenty of droppings so they are there! Comfortable stay in all ways. I didn't find anything lacking. Very clean. Would return again. Thank you!

Like i mentioned in the guest book! This Airbnb is the best one I’ve stayed in when it comes to the views. I wish i would have stayed longer but we’re active travelers so the few hours we had it was well worth it. Highly recommend this cabin!!! It will not disappoint and i guarantee that!

This was one of the nicest Airbnb homes we have stayed in. It was immaculate and just as pictured. The outside had a remote feeling but short drive to Palmer with great brew pubs, grocery, etc. Loved sitting down by the lake in the morning and taking in the beautiful Alaskan view. The hot tub was definitely a plus and we enjoyed this both nights. The views from the home with the large windows are fantastic and the motorized room darkening shades and curtains allow a great night's sleep. Oh and did I mention the heated floors kept the downstairs cozy! Great stay!

This was a fantastic choice for our family of 6! Beautiful location, beautiful cabin, filled beyond our needs and a responsive host who was helpful from beginning to end! It was so amazing that we extended a day extra! From fishing, coffee on the porch, Anchorage an hour away, lots to do in Wasilla and even a basketball court and cornhole, this place is absolute serenity. I'm hoping this cabin is available for our next trip, this is the only place we'll stay from now on! Thank you Bonnie for being so accommodating and maintaining a beautiful home away from home! Will absolutely book this cute cabin again! I was in town for a State Wrestling tournament and this was 10minutes away from the Menard Center which was perfect! The cabin is quintessential Alaskan and I wouldn't have it any other way. Communication and check-in was a breeze. Clean, cute, had everything and more than I expected.
