Kristin and Bret have a wonderful spot to stay and relax. The loft style suite is perfect for a small family or friends to stay comfortably. It is clean and cozy and the highlight is definitely the window seat looking back on the woods behind the property. I stayed with my daughter for just tonight so we could explore Saratoga Springs. It is not too far to feel close to town, but definitely outside the hustle and bustle of the city. Bret and Kristin were very responsive to all messages and gave great recommendations for local food and attractions.

This apartment is amazing and in a truly spectacular location. We happened to be there at the height of fall color which was magical but the farm, the gardens, and views must be unbeatable any time of the year. Delia surprised us with a decadent assortment of vegetables from the farm, fresh eggs, local bread and apple butter, pancake mix, butter and syrup, s'more supplies, bottled water from Saratoga Springs, apples, snacks, coffee, oat milk and a tasty bottle of wine. It was by far the nicest welcome we have ever experienced and far beyond all expectations. The beds are very comfortable with nice linen sheets and soft, fluffy towels. The nods to M.S. make this already special place even more so. I am thankful to Delia for sharing this incredible place and can't wait to return again someday.

We had a fantastic stay at Mara's beautiful home. The location was very peaceful, and there were a number of snacks and drinks provided. A very short drive to Saratoga Springs and surrounding towns.

From the moment we turned into the lane shaded by ancient sugar maples, we knew this place would be special, and with each new discovery—-of the spacious, bright, chef-worthy kitchen and the many delicious treats, the enclosed herb and flower garden with long tables under an arbor (and the lovely gardener’s invitation to cut a bouquet) the top-quality pickleball court with an abundance of balls, the mowed paths that led across fields, up hills to even more spectacular views, and through wooded copses, and the delight of the thoughtful, sophisticated and totally comfortable interior design—-we felt at home and cared for, honored guests rather than renters. Delia stopped by to greet us. She and her husband seem to be loving stewards of this extraordinary property, and we were grateful to have experienced its magic.

Peaceful, quiet and clean cottage in a beautiful area by the lake. Lots to do nearby. Host is great, provided clear instructions and made it easy to get to. Planning to return next year or sooner. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful & relaxing weekend here with a large group for my sister's lowkey bachelorette party. Even with a day of non-stop pouring rain, we were perfectly content with staying in and enjoying the coziness of the house. We had a blast watching the chickens roam around and hanging out with the overly-friendly barn cats while we sat outside. The goats & pigs were happy to greet us at the fence every time. The hot tub and pool were perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautifully scenic and peaceful getaway. Thanks, Sarah & BBVF team!

This was my second stay at Kelly’s place and I look forward to going back. The house is beautiful and the bed is one of the coziest I’ve ever slept on. Kelly is a lovely person. I’m grateful to have crossed paths and have a comfortable place to stay when I visit family in the area.

The Host is amazing, always responsive, and makes you feel like Family! Anyone who gets the opportunity to stay at "Home", will be better for it!

The host went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—from clear communication before our arrival to thoughtful touches throughout the home that made it feel welcoming and comfortable. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ experience. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the cozy blankets, fun board games, and super comfy beds. The location was peaceful and perfectly situated—close to the lake, hiking trails, and great local restaurants. We left feeling refreshed and so grateful for such a warm and relaxing stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Lake George, and we’re already hoping to return!
