Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Wartburgkreis

We had a lovely, albeit very wet Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years old)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high tick volume, but that's nobody's fault. However, you should prepare for a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The footpath to the house, which is slightly elevated, was a bit impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

There were two of us with our dog for a week in Beatrix's accommodation and we felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, nicely decorated and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are right on the property. This took a little nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her first that the goats are not eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

We were received in a very friendly manner and received an orientation to the accommodation. It had everything we needed for our short trip. Everything was clean and as described. We felt very comfortable. A small, cozy, winding apartment where you feel right at home.

We were able to enjoy a few days with our dog in the great apartment, no, the whole house, that Christiane offered. What a hugely nice, authentic and cozy house! Inside original ceiling height in some rooms, which makes the building very original, all rooms well arranged and cozy. Everywhere (including in the bedrooms) a cozy wood stove, which we fired once in the kitchen and in the living room because of the moderate outside temperature - immediately nice and warm, also because the rooms are not too large; wonderful! Fine beds, good bathroom(s!), beautiful bedrooms and almost everywhere a beautiful view over the slopes towards Fulda. The (very quiet) village offered very nice hiking opportunities, for a message, beer or restaurant you have to be a little further - but if you like peace (and we do) you are fine in this nice house. Finally: a great fun garden, with fence, so that the dog stays within reach. We thank Christiane and Markus!

It is a super large accommodation that offers enough space. The garden section is great for kids to play. If something was missing, we were helped very quickly. Clear recommendation!

We had a great time in this beautiful and lovingly furnished half-timbered house. You feel right at home. The location in the middle of the old town is great, and with a suspension bridge, forest ball track and playgrounds, great activities with children are possible. Annouck and Benji were very nice and very accessible. We will be happy to come back.

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

The apartment was really nice and very clean, we immediately felt comfortable there. The decor was modern and well maintained, and there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only note: It would be helpful to mention in the description that the pool can only be used in summer. Otherwise, everything was great – happy to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It really had everything you need – fully equipped, clean and furnished with attention to detail. The atmosphere was very cozy, so we felt comfortable right away. Very nice communication with the hosts. It only remains to mention that the shared pool is an indoor pool. But there is an outdoor swimming pool in Ronshausen. The bathing lake Breitenbach is not necessarily recommended. Particularly noteworthy is the wonderful tranquility – perfect for relaxing and switching off from everyday life. We will be happy to come back!

We had a fantastic family reunion over the weekend. Wonderfully quiet location, very clean and in every respect perfectly equipped apartment. There's really nothing missing. The hostess is very nice, helpful and accommodating. We have never been better accommodated! I'm sure we'll be back.

Had a very nice stay. The flat is spacious and was super clean. Our son was able to crawl and play around. It is also wonderful to relax on the terrace. Even when it rains, you're dry. Beautiful surroundings too. Being able to relax here.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner in person and received a short briefing. The location of the accommodation is very quiet, right by the forest, ideal for hiking from there. My daughter was thrilled with the giant swing that hung in the tree. I thought it was great that we got the spa cards, with which you get many discounts, directly upon arrival and did not have to take care of it ourselves. An exceptional service! Everything important was available in the apartment. Very modern decor, chic bathroom. Parking is available right in front of the house. Completely uncomplicated check-out. Host available at any time. Overall very good value for money.

We had a completely successful stay at Nicole and Helga's! The apartment was very clean, lovingly decorated and well equipped – ideal for our three-day hiking holiday in the Thuringian Forest. Nicole and Helga are exceptionally warm and accommodating hosts. Upon arrival, we felt immediately welcome. Even during our stay, they were at our side with valuable tips about the surroundings. After extensive hikes in the beautiful nature of the Thuringian Forest, we were able to end the day in the evening relaxing on the balcony – simply wonderful! We spent an extended weekend with Wilma with our dog and were super satisfied. We felt very comfortable in Wilma's special, lovingly furnished house and spent relaxed and slow days. We especially liked the proximity to nature with the dog, the surroundings are really tranquil and there are great walking paths. Wilma described everything very accurately and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back, thanks!

The bungalow surrounded by fir trees and in the background a small stream rushes. Super idyllic and great for relaxing from everyday stress. An outdoor swimming pool is nearby. The location in connection with the bungalow is super cozy. Great value for money. Host was quick to reach and always helpful. Very straightforward.

Everything you need to spend a few nice days in the Thuringian Forest. The accommodation is a granny flat in a larger detached house, but you don't get too much from the neighbors. The apartment is tastefully decorated and was really sparkling clean. The contact with Jörg was friendly and straightforward. There's nothing to complain about. A good starting point for local hikes.
