Cabin with Private Waterfront, On River, Fast Wifi

AnitaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A nearly perfect stay - We had a wonderful stay at this cozy Airbnb tucked away in the woods near the Shenandoah River. The setting was peaceful and scenic—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home was impressively well-stocked with everything from cooking essentials to medical supplies and even female hygiene products, which was a thoughtful touch. We did run into a couple of technical issues with the HVAC not cooling and the ceiling fan not working. However, the hosts were incredibly responsive and sent someone out as soon as possible to address it, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a nearly perfect stay, and we’d happily return!

Cedar Creek Wayside Castle

TraceyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I needed a place that my family, from out of state, could stay while attending a graduation. The house was perfect! I told Bob what I wanted to do and he was encouraging and helpful. He made sure we had propane for grilling and answered all my questions. He was very prompt when I reached out to him. We had an amazing time. I would stay there again.

Had a great stay at Athena's house! She was great at communicating and we had a great weekend at her place. Would highly recomend the house since it's in walking distance to most of the sights around Front Royal.

Valley Vista, stunning views in wine country

AlexRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I was looking for a quiet place with a beautiful view to get away and have a kind of retreat. Alan's place was just the ticket. Got in some hikes and some quiet sitting. Grilling for dinner and watching the sky out over the valley was a real treat.

Idle Hour at Chester Gap

HannahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Having been to the winery at Chester Gap previously, I knew I wanted to stay in the Airbnb on site. When a girl’s winery trip idea came up, this is exactly where we went! 6 of us stayed very comfortably in his space which was very clean and well stocked. Check in was easy and everything was labeled clearly in the house, with a convenient house book to check as any questions arose. The hot tub was the star of the weekend and we enjoyed relaxing out there at night! The winery is amazing and you can’t beat one that you can walk to. Thank you Jeff for your hospitality, can’t wait to come back!

NEW! Unit 12~Pet Friendly ~ Hiking

KentRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Was looking for something in Front Royal that was very close to the entrance to Shenandoah National Park, and the Olive Branch was right around the corner, about 5-10 minutes away. I didn't require a whole lot since I wasn't going to spend much time in the room, and this was perfect, had everything I needed and nothing I didn't. My only nitpicks were that I wished both the trash can and the desk had been a little bigger but these were very minor inconveniences. Also wanted to note that it appeared there are permanent residents in some of the other rooms. Need to be careful getting up early and getting in late (as I did) so as not to disturb them.

BelAir: Private Pristine 2BR Apt Downtown Main St

RonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The place was immaculate and welcoming. The kitchen has everything you need. The location is perfect for anything going on in town, as it is just across from the center of town. The hosts were great, very helpful, and extremely responsive. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so no waiting. We did have a problem initially getting into the place as the code was not clear from the communication, and you might think the code was for the lock box next to the door. You use it on the camera lock on the front, but you have to touch it to see the number pad. Also, the pillows on our bed were huge and very hard. We could not use them. The bed was too soft for us, but both of those are based on your taste. Overall, we were very happy to stay there. If you are on Sunday morning, be sure to go to the Farmers' market just across the street.

Fantastic! Very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay there again! Secluded and quiet. Be aware that the very last bit of the road is gravel, so watch out with very low clearance sports cars.

Apartment was nice and clean. Enjoyed taking hot showers. Even in hotels hot water is an issue sometimes but not here! Also, plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and stay again if back in the area.

we had a wonderful long weekend golf getaway! This place is in a super cool location! Lots of golf within a 20-30 min radius. Tons of neat little shops and stuff to see within walking distance. The town is very clean and the people were super friendly. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area! We will be back!!!

Shenandoah River chill

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Robert's place was unbelievably peaceful. We enjoyed the view of the near mountain, the sound of the river wrapping around the property, the soothing acreage of organically grown waving grasses (harboring deer and foxes), a few stands of small trees, a plethora of bird houses near enough the house and a deck for taking it all in! One end of the Deer Rapid suspension bridge is right at the end of the driveway. We brought tubes expecting the river to be lazy like it was in 2023 but this time it was far fuller! Had we more time, we would have rented kayaks, had smores every night or hiked up the way. Everything was user friendly; we appreciated the printed binder, too! The overall cleanliness and air quality of the apartment and drinkability of the tap water were particularly good and worthy of mention! We felt the generosity of the host in every thoughtful detail. We encountered one little problem but which Robert bent over backwards to rectify, again showing great kindness. Such peace!

Farm house suite!

GretchenRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

Historic District Downtown Winchester

KelvinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Alison's place is great if you value being walkable to Old Town. We prefer this over staying at the Wyndham Grand because of the separate room for our baby to sleep in. The kitchen is modern and fridge with a water filter is clutch. We didn't try to make any meals. Bed was clean/firm, HVAC was responsive, and lounge chair in the sitting area was comfortable. You can hear the train and street noise (especially cars w/o mufflers) at night, but I assume that's the case if you stay anywhere near Old Town.
