The Place is spotless. The location is incredible. You’re right downtown. You’re within easy walking distance of restaurants and ice cream store and a coffee shop. Highly recommend the place.

Cindy's place was AMAZING! She truly thought of everything. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The apartment was thoughtfully decorated with sweet little nooks to relax and enjoy the scenery. There was even a dog shower in the garage for the dogs when we got back from a muddy hike. I will definitely return!

A wonderful stay in historic Winchester, VA. The space was exactly as listed, and such a cool, unique, historical residential building to enjoy during my stay. Kim provided great recommendations for local spots, was incredibly responsive and accommodating, and was a stellar host. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The location was safe, had off-street parking, and was very walkable- and worth a mention the bread/pastry shop recommended just a couple blocks away was amazing! I’d absolutely recommend a stay here for others exploring or passing through.

Amazing place for a short stay near by Luray and Shenandoah. Squeaky clean and a lot of good amenitues. Donna was also exceptionally good at communicating.

This is truly a hidden gem, and is hosted by absolutely wonderful people! we couldn't have had a better experience! Thank you so much for letting us stay here, it was quite the blessing and we are very grateful!

The most convenient stay I have ever had!

This is a great space and a very good location if you are looking for something in downtown Winchester. Great fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds and cool decor with easy parking and a short walk to the Winchester Old Town mall. We didn't get to check out the beautiful historic library next door, but maybe next time.

AWESOME stay! We would recommend to anyone! Gail is so nice and responsive. She answered our calls or messages immediately. Very accommodating for our littlest traveler. The neighborhood was so peaceful! 10/10 🤗

Beautiful secluded riverside place, very optimal for restful weekend getaway!

My family of 4 plus our 2 fur babies had the best time at Julie’s home. The house is beautiful and unique with all the original remnants of wood and brick. It’s clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities. The pictures don’t do this house justice, honestly. The property is very private. We hardly saw any neighbors. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer, hot tub, couches outside, bathrobes, etc. we appreciated the tea, chocolate, wine and flowers left for us, too. Such a pleasant surprise, really! There are plenty of things to do around in the area. We had a great time. Thank you, Julie, for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home with our entire family.

It’s a private place to go and enjoy and famili kids are very happy with the pool and activities

It was a great location easy walk into downtown. Where you can find many coffee shops, restaurants, and breweries. As stated in the description the house is older and is not a 5 star accommodation, but honestly for the price I was very happy with this location to stay. The WIFi worked great, TV had all the streaming channels you could use, and they even provided coffee and some protein bars. We did not get a chance to use it but there is a fire pit in the back yard.

We had a very nice 3 day weekend at Elizabeth's place. The house was really cozy and we felt relaxed and at home there. It was a great location to reconnect with family as my brother and his wife only had to drive an hour from DC area to spend time with us. We enjoyed being able to walk from the house to downtown for lunch at the Box Office Brewery and antiquing at Strasburg Emporium. On a sunnier day, we had a great hike at nearby Elizabeth Furnace Recreation Area. Something for everyone in the area!

We had a great weekend staying at the home. Everything was exactly as described and wonderfully comfortable.

We had a great time very nice place . We travel a lot & see a lot so here are the few things I noticed: Lighter doesn’t work Vents in bedrooms on main floor were covered with rugs fire hazard Cold & took 3 hours to warm up Railing to basement loose

Great place to stay while visiting Shenandoah National Park. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Host also provided travel crib for our little one.

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

Cozy, comfortable, everything you need and nothing you don't. The interior stone walls were especially lovely, as was the patio outside. Great place all around and very convenient to Main Street. William was a great host!

Alison's place is great if you value being walkable to Old Town. We prefer this over staying at the Wyndham Grand because of the separate room for our baby to sleep in. The kitchen is modern and fridge with a water filter is clutch. We didn't try to make any meals. Bed was clean/firm, HVAC was responsive, and lounge chair in the sitting area was comfortable. You can hear the train and street noise (especially cars w/o mufflers) at night, but I assume that's the case if you stay anywhere near Old Town.
