The Basset Dacha was such a fun place for our family to stay! We all loved the historical pieces around the home and the beautiful town of Strasburg. Sitting on the front porch with the gorgeous view was a highlight. Liesl was an excellent communicator and provided very detailed descriptions and was super proactive and helpful along the way. We would all love to go back again next Autumn!

My nieces and I had such a relaxing time at Julie's house! The place was super comfy and welcoming—perfect for lounging around and spending quality time together. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up, which made it really easy to feel at home. The location was great, we were able to find a local pizza place, diner and even a tea room. We will definitely be back!

Had a lovely stay. Definitely a great rental for nature lovers who also appreciate their creature comforts! Peaceful, quiet surroundings. There is one neighbor, but they are at a distance that felt quite comfortable, and not intrusive at all. My sons loved the property and wading in the creek, or watching movies in the game room. We enjoyed s’mores at night and coffee in the morning creekside. The hot tub was especially appreciated after a day of hiking in SNP. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked. Leah was very responsive and welcoming. My family has already asked to come back to this spot.

It was a great location easy walk into downtown. Where you can find many coffee shops, restaurants, and breweries. As stated in the description the house is older and is not a 5 star accommodation, but honestly for the price I was very happy with this location to stay. The WIFi worked great, TV had all the streaming channels you could use, and they even provided coffee and some protein bars. We did not get a chance to use it but there is a fire pit in the back yard.

What a lovely place! I am a fan of riverside places - being able to sit on a deck and listen to the river all day is heaven! This meets that criteria! I can imagine floating in warmer weather would be great, too! The rooms are a bit smaller than appear in pictures but there is plenty of comfortable seating. The beds are super comfy. Go to The Apple House for the apple/cinnamon donuts! The neighbors were closer than I expected so there were no pretty views to the sides but --- just look at the river! I hope to go back.

Kae's place was just as she described and very comfortable and clean. It was a great location - quiet neighborhood yet a short drive to shopping, restaurants and Shenandoah Park.

Great location with close access to Shenandoah National Park. The dock accessing the river was fabulous, we used the kayaks multiple times. House was super clean and comfortable. Dog friendly with a quiet neighborhood to walk them. Karen was always responsive and helpful. Would stay here again!

Great place to stay while visiting Shenandoah National Park. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Host also provided travel crib for our little one.

We had a wonderful weekend stay. The condition of the house is incredible, with lots of original detail including very wide plan heart pine floors and an absolutely breathtaking fireplace that came very well stocked with wood and kindling. The location is very charming as the house is surrounded by vineyards and accessible only via a rustic bridge. Modern convenience is only 5 minutes away if needed, and there is a state park with terrific hiking trails nearby. We also cooked our meals in the kitchen and found that it was very functional with everything we needed. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

We enjoyed staying at Taby's place, it was very cozy with everything we needed! Taby was quick to respond to any questions that we had, we would love to stay again if we're ever in Virginia.

The place was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. The pool was still cold but the kids loved that it was open already and my wife and I appreciated the hot tub after a long day of traveling. The sound of the highway is noticeable, but after a day you get used to it. The yard was private and sat back away from the road which was nice for the kids to play in. If we find ourselves in Virginia we would stay here again.

Lynn’s place was a great spot for a getaway out of the city and into the countryside. She was very responsive, provided all the information needed, and the Airbnb and surrounding property was beautiful. Our dogs loved getting to play and explore the grounds! Lynn had everything you need and offered a ton of suggestions if needed for the surrounding local area. We would definitely stay here again!

I planned to propose to my girlfriend over a romantic farm and Shenandoah getaway weekend. Andrea was very excited and helped make the weekend really special. The grounds were amazing and so beautiful with trails to take walks on and many animals to see. We brought our puppy and we had plenty of space to safely let him off leash to run around. He had as much fun as we did (and we got engaged!) Her restaurant recommendations were spot on, so definitely give those a try. We did the farm tour on the last day, and it was so personal, interactive and informative. Do not skip the tour!!! Andrea was so kind and generous with us. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Very private location. The house was a nice cabin with spectacular views and comfortable furnishings. Very spotty Verizon cell service, but wifi worked very well for calling and internet. Would recommend for a private get-away.

Lovely place. Tons of space in the suite, beautiful views and Maud is a great host.

Everything was wonderful, perfect one night stay. Unfortunately something went wrong with the outdoor lights but he was excellent and was very quick to respond! He had solutions for every question I had. Nice tv set up! But didn’t use it LOL. Wi-Fi was great when we needed to use it. No complaints. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Jaclyn’s cabin! Everything was as described- clean & homey. This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking at getting away from the busyness of the world. Very peaceful & remote. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our mini family vacation at the dome. The dome was really fun to stay in, it was super clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time enjoying the hot tub, playing board games, and cooking meals. Property is very private and perfect for a peaceful, relaxing getaway.

We are already thinking about when we can book our next stay here! Absolutely loved the house and the views. Can’t wait to come back.

There was an unexpected maintenance issue at this property the day of arrival but Matt went above and beyond temporarily having us stay at another one of their properties, both of which were clean, beautiful, and with excellent views and amenities. Incredible deal overall myself and my group were all super happy we were able to stay here

Beautiful home with lots of space and privacy. We enjoyed being right by the creek and having so much room to explore. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. There is a nice screened in porch which was great for eating and avoiding the gnats that often seem to be wherever you go in Shenandoah! Overall a great experience. Does require an extra few miles of driving to loop back around to the National Park or Front Royal due to the lack of on ramps or ability to cross over 66, but the value was good and it’s not a huge pain by any means, just something to plan for. Also there are lots of wineries on that side of the road so still plenty to do. Good amount of space for traveling with multiple families.

We had a wonderful stay at Gabriela's property! The home was clean and looked just as pictured. The riverfront access was wonderful. We were able to do quite a bit of fishing from the bamk and enjoyed having the canoe available for use as well. It was a very peaceful stay. Neighbors aren't too far away but it was very quiet, and there is still great privacy. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

I took my 4 year old daughter, Husband, and 2 dogs for a very last minute graduation celebration getaway and it was beautiful. Scenic views, SO peaceful, backyard was amazing and the little touches and. amenities were so cozy! Adam was pleasant and responsive and so kind. We talked about making this an annual getaway because we loved it so much! Highly recommend!

Such a fun stay, would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful and removed location with many things to do nearby (within an hour or less). My family stayed here for a week and we absolutely loved it. The house is beautiful and comfortable and clean. If we weren’t hanging out at the house playing games, we took a day trip to the Shenandoah valley national Park, a day trip to Washington DC, and a few smaller trips to nearby historical sites. We left wishing we had longer to stay and enjoy the quiet surrounding of this Airbnb. Gretchen was absolutely wonderful, she was proactive to communicate and extremely responsive. Would stay here again!
