Our house is lovingly and modernly furnished. The garden is spacious with a beautiful fire pit and swing and trampoline for the little ones. A new gas grill and lounge furniture are available on the covered patio area. The highlight is the large whirlpool on the covered terrace. One bedroom is already equipped with an orthopedic sleeping system based on a box spring bed and from around March 1st we will be offering an orthopedic WATERBED as an additional highlight for our guests suffering from back pain. Our idyllic cottage from 1730 is located in the middle of the old village center of Wilkenburg (Hemmingen), surrounded by a nature reserve. A breathtaking swimming lake (100 m) and many paths into nature are just a stone's throw away. The city center of Hanover, the Maschsee and the Hanover trade fair can be reached in a 5-10 minute drive. Hanover main station: 8.5 km, airport: 30 km Trade fair: 5.5 km A small country bakery and a private horse farm are just around the corner.

Our village is 10 km from the equestrian town of Verden, right on the Weser-Aller cycle path and a five-minute walk to the river. Children and dogs are welcome.

The former bakery in Schweringen was completely renovated as a guest house in 2019 and now offers 2 rooms (1 room with a double bed, 1.40 wide and 1 room with 2 single beds, 90 cm wide) with a shared living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. We, Carlotta & Paul, have completely renovated our small bakery from 1816 in the past two years with natural and sustainable building materials. The furniture and the kitchen are also planned with a lot of love and built in our workshop.
