My stay with Tonje was all I hoped for: peaceful, restful, and with an astonishingly beautiful view. I enjoyed the walk up the fjord, to get there. Tonje has apples growing at her farm! The sheep regularly came by for a chat 😍. I came to Utne to visit the Hardanger Museum. Their collection of Hardanger fiddles and embroidery is a treasure .

We had a truly unforgettable stay at this beautiful home in Ålvik. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in nature with breathtaking views of the fjord and mountains all around. It was the perfect peaceful retreat to unwind and soak in the beauty of Norway. The house itself was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the warm, welcoming touches that made us feel right at home. The surrounding area is ideal for scenic walks, and it’s a great base for exploring Hardanger and beyond. Our host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We traveled with our baby and felt completely at ease here, quiet, safe, and family-friendly. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic Norwegian experience

Nice place, beautiful nature!

Lovely place, peaceful with amazing views. This house has been remodeled and looks like new, absolutely perfect. Modern new appliances and fixtures, tastefully decorated and very clean. We had a wonderful stay with a comfy bed and nice linens. I hope we get back to this part of Norway, we would definitely come back again.
