Within walking distance (about 600 m) is the river Le Gartempe, where there are plenty of places to take a refreshing dip. The cyclist can also indulge. Our guests say they love... relaxing on the balcony overlooking their (saltwater, key-secured) pool, watching the sun rise and set, toasting marshmallows around the fire pit (spring, automn,winter) BBQs, basketball, ping-pong, and fast wifi. In June, pick cherries for homemade jam. There’s grassy space for sports, a semi-shaded courtyard, and colourful rooms with upcycled furniture by local artists. Nearby: castles, Futuroscope, and cozying up playing board games by the wood burner in winter.

La Maison Mignonne is renovated stone cottage, situated in a quiet hamlet in the Haute-Vienne region of South West France. It has been sympathetically restored, combining traditional character with contemporary comfort. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two singles), bathroom (with bath and shower), and open plan lounge-kitchen downstairs. All mod cons are provided: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, wood-burning stove, TV.

The former ferry house has been completely restored and converted into a vacation home for 2 people, since July 2022. Beautiful setting next to the river, l'Anglin, overlooking the bridge, the château and the village Angles-sur-l'Anglin. The house has its own garden, and there is a private beach on the estate. The barque is ready on the river, wonderful swimming in front of the door or further on at the Moulin de Remerle or the Moulin du Pré.
