Maryline and Luc were kind and welcoming hosts, preparing a superb breakfast - and the accommodation was generous in size, safe with plenty of parking, beautiful grounds. The swimming pool was a wonderful extra we enjoyed in the September sun. Poitiers is nearby with plenty of French character and charming streets to stroll along, and museums and restaurants. Hope to return, with thanks.

What a beautiful setting, the children loved all the animals, idyllic setting with lovely breakfast by the river. We even managed to squeeze in a dip in the Pool along with the resident Frog. We were made very welcome, would highly recommend.

Ambroise was perfect, very welcoming and responsive ,he immediately puts you at ease. The accommodation is perfectly located, a few minutes walk from the city center. Private parking space, quiet location, dead end without passage. Great for a stay in Poitiers, I recommend

Warm welcome... Viviane is a very kind and very nice person. She made me feel comfortable from the start and did me a service that I will always be grateful to her for... in addition to the cakes and jam, she gave me a very good soup and fruit. A stay I'm not ready to forget. The room was clean with all amenities. I highly recommend it.

We were on vacation with 2 families, together with our kids and following. We loved the Orangerie. The house is beautiful and has been renovated with an eye for detail and preservation of original atmosphere. You feel that there is love in it, it's a family home, you feel that. Not refurbished just for hosting. The garden is beautiful and the pool lovely. There is a small but. The rooms are quite different in quality. A room can only be reached from the outside, with a bunk bed. Unfortunately, our children (19 and 21) are too long for these beds. Another bedroom is only accessible through another bedroom with a bad door, making it little privacy. This room is also not really renovated, feels damp and clammy. In my opinion, the house can accommodate 6 adults and the rest of the rooms for children and not for adolescents of 19 and 21. We are flexible and have pushed a little with mattresses and genuinely had a wonderful stay! Repeatable!

A short but very pleasant stay in this charming gîte des Deux-Sèvres. Thoughtful decor and well-appointed space. A very welcoming host and a good opportunity for us to improve our English! Only small downside: the freshness in the cottage. Fortunately, the extra heaters offered by our host made it possible to heat up.

A wonderful, peaceful and charming place. We were warmly welcomed by Françoise and Alex who shared the history of this atypical place with us, which was incredibly built with skill and good taste. The pool and its surroundings are many assets in terms of activity. Our only desire is to come back.
