Very well located studio, in the heart of Martel. We were able to shine from there and there are very good restaurants in the village. Listing is as described and Clémence is very responsive.

Excellent stay, very clean accommodation, very well-equipped and in a good location for exploring the area. The accommodation remains cool despite the hot outdoor temperatures. mosquito nets on the windows are very appreciable.

Charlotte's cottage is small but cozy and immaculate, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The little rear garden is delightful and private. The cottage is near a main thoroughfare but is quite soundproof when the doors are closed. It was a lovely place to stay in this quiet and picturesque little village.

Great! We had a great time at Claire's. The apartment is located in the heart of a charming city. We were quiet. The apartment is easy to access with the lockbox and Claire gave us all the necessary instructions. Upon arrival, we found a clean, cozy place to stay that perfectly matches the listing. Beynac et Cazanac is such a stunning setting and we were back for a second visit. Catherine's place is absolutely perfect, the pictures, although beautiful don't live up to the real thing. It is magical. The bedrooms are all lovely, comfortable beds, pillows and lovely linens. Each room has it's own charm. And there are 2.5 bathrooms! The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room lovely but we were so lucky to have a sunny and warm week in mid September that we were outside for all meals and most of the time. We were in the pool a few times each day and could not get enough of the view. Lots to watch on the river as it was full of bright canoes every day. Hot air balloons floated by most every day, some almost close enough to touch. At night the castles are lit up in the distance...simply stunning. The town is so historic with cobbled streets and medieval houses, no surprise movies are filmed here. But the best part is how peaceful it is, hard to leave. Great shops too

Chantal is very welcoming as well as her husband!! Only small downside is poor TV reception and wifi not easy!! Very beautiful area, beautiful places to visit and quiet accommodation

The accommodation was amazing, very well arranged and tastefully decorated. Everything was there to allow us to have a pleasant stay. Very well equipped and well thought out facilities for a good relaxing time. Address to keep for our next visit to this beautiful area.

This house is truly special, full of character and lovingly restored it felt like the perfect holiday escape! We loved dining outside in the garden, our children loved playing in the meadow next to the house and we all enjoyed getting to stay somewhere so different and beautiful. On a practical note, there was private parking, a high chair, cot and baby bath, a washing machine and drying rack, all the essentials in the kitchen. It was a perfect escape and a very special place to stay - close to all local amenities in Martel, but totally rural and peaceful. We all absolutely loved the river swimming beach - a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive. I really recommend!

Our family spent a wonderful four days in Jean-Christophe's place, and we were very sad to leave. The garden and the view of the chateau are gorgeous, and we took good advantage of the walking trails through the woods. The house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable, especially with the wood fire. The village is very small, but it is an easy drive to Sarlat and some of the most beautiful towns in Dordogne, as well as the many painted caves in the Vézère Valley. Highly recommended as a quiet retreat and as a home-base to explore the region.
