We had a great time with the family. The place was really spotless and perfect from every point of view despite the rain of the weekend. Our hosts were lovely and met all our needs, they even recommended a restaurant to us. We can only thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Thank you for everything!

We spent ten days of dreaming, in this haven of peace, thanks to Mary and Sam who renovated this cottage with a master's hand. The interior is absolutely charming, and very warm. Mary takes care of her guests. As soon as we wrote to her to ask her a question, she would knock on the door to answer it in person. Exteriors are eye-catching. Everything we were looking for when we booked this cottage, we found it. Chickens visited us several times a day in our garden. The sheep were not far away. In background noise: a river. Thank you Mary and Sam for your investment in these renovations and for giving us the opportunity to experience some of this “suspended time”. Mary and Sam are the best hosts we've ever met, working tirelessly to make our experience even more beautiful. We had a great time at Ana and Jean Philippe's place. A beautiful invitation to come and discover the starry skies, the paths to walk in the woods , full of beautiful walks that Jean Philippe can make you discover, he knows the region very well! The tent is comfortable with a real bed and spacious and pretty decor. I can only recommend you to go to their place, it is a real Haven of Peace.

The accommodation offered by Lucie is true to the description and photos: spacious, very well equipped, clean. This accommodation is in the middle of nature, quiet but above all in the heart of a very rich historical heritage (many visits within a perimeter of less than 30-40 min by car) Lucie is available, responsive and very pleasant. I recommend both the accommodation and its geographical location.

Everything was good! The cottage and its surroundings are absolutely charming and super quiet. Beautiful walks right outside the door. Easily accessible tourist attractions... Ideal for lovers of nature and beautiful stones...

My sisters had a great time at this warm and exotic accommodation. The place was very clean, consistent with the photos: a real little piece of paradise, I highly recommend staying there, a peaceful time in the countryside with a welcoming and flexible host, you will find your happiness 😇

We had a pleasant stay at Géraldine's, the games room is a real plus, our daughter loved it and so did we! Our daughter was delighted with the pony ride and seeing the goats and turkey pigs. We were able to spend a weekend of disconnection and it feels good to be in the nature!

Treehouse worthy of the name. In total harmony with nature and tastefully furnished. A peaceful haven for a relaxing stay. Virginia is very responsive in communication.

What the listing does not emphasise enough is the high quality of the way this 300 year old property has been renovated. Plus, the decor and fittings are high quality: it really is like living in a real home, not simply a place that has been kitted out on a budget just for AirBnB. And... always a good sign.... the kitchen knives are sharp, there is an apron for the cook, and spices and herbs are provided. For those of you from the UK, think of the best of 'Rural Retreats' (a very high quality set of holiday rental properties.) The property is in a tiny hamlet of 3 houses. It really is a quiet and beautiful setting. Virginia is generous with access to the garden (which is shared with her home). She is the perfect combination of being friendly but not intrusive.

Very nice holiday spent in Jeanie's cottage. Ideally located to shine in the Beynac, Sarlat and Eyzies region. We were able to multiply the tours and enjoy relaxing at the end of the day in the pool. Very clean and quiet accommodation. We loved it. Jeanie responded quickly to all our questions / requests. thank you for everything!

My time at Le Petite Chouette was utterly magical. I stayed for a month and fully recharged my soul in this peaceful, beautiful spot surrounded by nature. Ania and Mark are so kind and attentive, and the gite has everything you could possible imagine for your comfort and well-being. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking, and my favorite part is the bed, as it was more comfortable than hotel beds with crisp fresh linens and even an electric blanket for a cozy night. I’ll never forget my peaceful evenings in front of the fire (thank you for generously supplying wood!) my long walks to chateau Lavauguyon and the village, excursions to Site de Peyrassoulat, my visits to the contemporary art and meteorite museums in Rochechouart, and my lovely chats with Ania, Mark, their sweet dogs, and the chickens! I am forever grateful for what this stay has done for my spirit! I highly recommend this place if you want deep rest!

This beautiful Gite was perfect for us. We loved the peaceful location, the well kept grounds and the beautiful pool area which we only sometimes shared with the 2 occupants of the smaller gite. Often, we had it to ourselves. Chris and Debbie were really lovely and helpful with lots of recommendations- from markets to local restaurants. They set up a private chat group when we arrived so they could be on call if required and pass on any useful information. Debbie arrived at our door one day as we headed out for a trip with a cool box, which was a lovely gesture . On another day, she arrived at the pool with a jug of chilled sangria. Their lovely friendliness contributed to our enjoyment of this property. As someone who is often a gourmet buffet for local insect life, the mosquito nets over the beds were very welcome. Our girls loved the grounds, including the swing next to the gite, although the pool made it for them. We would happily recommend it to everyone we know.

Sylvain and Sophie were great hosts, very responsive to messages, fantastic welcome and always on hand for advice and recommendations. The gite was in a lovely area, very quiet and you definitely need a car to get there. Areas and bedrooms were easily accessible for all of the family however someone with mobility issues may have difficulty accessing some areas (Our fault for not checking) but it did not effect our stay to the point where it caused any significant issues. All areas were well maintained and clean, and Sylvain and Sophie went out of their way on the first day to ensure we were settled, even sourcing some food items so we didn't starve the first night which was fantastic. We would have no issue booking again as the gite and the area were very chill and was just what we needed. The only really picky down point would be that the tv downstairs wasn't a smart TV so we couldn't stream something to watch as a family, but it wasn't missed. Merci Sylvain & Sophie

Patricia is a very welcoming host who passionately introduced us to her garden and animals. She shares her know-how through very informative workshops (plants, donkeys, etc.) The tiny house is very nice when you want to recharge your batteries as a family in an eco-lodge close to nature. The pool available is a real plus to cool off and have fun with the kids. The summer kitchen also allows you to cook outside the accommodation and thus expand the living space. We highly recommend this listing!!

You don't get tired of the view! Very pleasant stay at Marion and Pascal's for our stay in the Périgord. They are charming hosts and committed to ensuring that we have a good stay at their home. Feel free to follow their great tips for discovering the surroundings. The house is super well equipped, you have everything you need, there are also games for children (outside and inside) The house is ideally located to visit the surrounding area (Dordogne, castles, gardens, caves, chasms, farms, etc.). No time to get bored. Finally, the view from the terrace is superb, good aperitif & dinner evenings begin!

We had a great time with friends in this area which meets all the reviews: very clean, perfectly equipped, beautiful living rooms, quiet, peaceful. The highlight remains the indoor pool + sauna + jacuzzi which really make the difference, with an incredible view of the landscape. Responsive hosts, thank you again, I highly recommend it if you want to spend a weekend with friends or family, this place is perfect.

We had a lovely time at Michelle's place. The house is very well equipped (bed, chair and baby bathtub included), with two bathrooms which is very convenient. We had the sheets and towels ready when we arrived with the welcome basket prepared by Michelle which was very nice. The large garden with the hammock and pool allowed us to make a real break from the city. The place is very quiet and green, a real paradise for those who love nature.

Great stay as a family with children despite the bad weather. The house is extremely well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated! The setting is quiet without a neighbor with a closed garden. Perfect for kids to play. Anne Sophie is welcoming and cheerful. Thank you for the farm products we enjoyed ourselves! Looking forward to coming home for a longer stay.

It was another pleasant stay. Marie is a very kind host. The flat is spacious and clean. The garden was fantastic for the children again.

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

We were two couples to share this lovely country home. Despite the rain and cool temperature, we were able to relax in a comfortable and well heated interior by the wood stove. In addition to enjoying a breathtaking view of the village, the show of animals wandering freely in their respective spaces was most enchanting. Sofie and Irm are welcoming hosts who care about our comfort. A special thank you for offering us the eggs of their chickens!
