Cottage vacation rentals in Vézelay

We had a great time with the family. The accommodation is conveniently located 10 min from Auxerre. Warm garden furniture and appreciable jacuzzi. A beautiful peaceful home, ideal for reuniting with family.

Our stay at Andrew and Marielle's was lovely. They very kindly welcomed us and gave us directions to things to do and see in the area, cafes, swimming and more. The accommodation is simple and comfortable, and the garden is very pleasant.

Together with friends, we spent a wonderful week in the Moulin sur Seine. We didn't miss anything and we all felt very comfortable. Michel is a wonderfully likeable host. The house, the property and the spa area are a dream. We will be happy to come back. I would like to highlight the existing charging station for e-cars, which is still missing in the description. Definitely a plus.

spacious, functional and quiet, it is only the hot tub that does not work too much, it's a shame because we had booked here for this criteria.. The owner was sorry which allows us to accept better and leave 5 stars because otherwise everything is fine.

We had a lovely stay at Bernadette's place. Everything was clean and functional. Jacuzzi is really a very enjoyable bonus! Bernadette is responsive and full of kind attentions.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay over Xmas and new years. Wonderful hosts who are very helpful and attentive and the house is lovely: we loved the fireplace in particular. Great closed garden for the dog to play along a very quiet road. If you’re looking for a quaint stay in a quiet setting, this is perfect!

An absolutely lovely stay, we stayed in April and had a mixture of weather but it was great to be able to light the fire during the rainy days. A perfect, clean, quiet and well equipped cottage perfect for our 7 day trip to explore the area with our dog pebble! Thanks again!!

Nice place to stay, big garden and enough places for large groups to be together

Sharon is a great host that takes care, is around when needed and pays attention to detail. She made sure we feel welcome and that we have something to eat upon arrival. It was easy to communicate with her (through WhatsApp or AirBnB messaging) and since our French is poor it was much easier to converse in English. We visited Frôlois in October and temperatures were below 3°C at night and it got a bit chilly in the morning since the cottage is not well insulated. There are many electric heaters that we could use, but we tried to be environmentally conscious and also conscious of Sharon's electricity bill. The kitchen of the cottage is well equipped. The only thing we missed (in comparison with other apartments) is salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar and maybe some spices. You'll have to make sure that you bring everything with you or be prepared to drive 20min to the next supermarket. The gas oven is great and works well. In summer there are two options to have BBQ outside. There are plenty of books and DVDs and the Internet is fast and reliable. Beds are cosy with plenty of pillows. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are warm (or hot if needed). We were not prepared to drive a while for a coffee, but that's completely fine. We enjoyed the silence and the beautiful landscape.
