Cottage vacation rentals in Vézelay

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Le logement est idéalement situé à 10 min d’Auxerre. Mobilier de jardin chaleureux et jacuzzi appréciable. Une belle maison paisible, idéal pour se retrouver en famille.

Notre séjour chez Andrew et Marielle a été très agréable. Iels nous ont très gentiment accueilli-es et nous ont donné des indications de choses à faire et voir dans les environs, cafés, baignade et autres. Le logement est simple et confortable, et le jardin très agréable.

Zusammen mit Freunden haben wir eine herrliche Woche in der Moulin sur Seine verbracht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Michel ist ein wunderbar sympathischer Gastgeber. Das Haus, das Grundstück und der Spabereich sind ein Traum. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Hervorheben möchte ich noch die vorhandene Ladestation für e-Autos, die in der Beschreibung noch fehlt. Definitiv ein Plus.

spacieux, fonctionnel et au calme, il n'y a que le jacuzzi qui ne fonctionne pas trop, c'est dommage car nous avions réservé ici pour ce critère.. Le propriétaire était désolé ce qui permet de mieux accepter et de laisser 5 étoiles car sinon tout est bien.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le logement de Bernadette. Tout était propre et fonctionnel. Le jacuzzi est vraiment un bonus très appréciable ! Bernadette est réactive et plein de gentilles attentions.

As beautiful as the photos are, they don’t do this place justice. It was such an incredibly beautiful setting and guest house. We didn’t want to leave.

Maison charmante et dans un havre de paix Nous avons passé un séjour au calme tout en découvrant la région.

Bruno en Laurence zijn ontzettend vriendelijke hosts, de ontvangst was heel persoonlijk en we kregen een rondleiding door de tuinen en de moestuin. We kregen meteen groenten mee, hoe leuk is dat. De omgeving is prachtig, veel rust en ruimte en het huis is comfortabel. We hebben een super fijne vakantie gehad en de omgeving is heel mooi om doorheen te fietsen of autotours te maken. En als je golffanaat bent dan kan je je hart ophalen. Bruno heeft een mooie golfbaan gemaakt in een van de tuinen. De schapen kijken dan met je mee. Ook poolen met Bruno is een mooie extra, zeker voor de wintermaanden. Wij hebben 15 dagen een toptijd gehad en kunnen iedereen aanraden, als je rust en ruimte zoekt, om naar deze mooie plek te gaan. Bruno en Laurence, heel erg bedankt voor de gastvrijheid!

Anya est une hôte adorable, attentive au bien-être et aux besoins des autres. Très ouverte à la discussion et aux échanges, nous avons vraiment apprécié de converser autour d’un café ou du poulailler. Si vous aspirez à être en harmonie avec la nature et la simplicité tout en ayant le confort nécessaire, cet endroit est pour vous. C’est la saison des festivals et des brocantes de qualité dans ce coin. Allez-y sans retenu, vous ne serez pas déçus.

Tres jolie maison, située dans un parc arboré près d'un plan d'eau. Tres agreable a vivre, avec beaucoup de place en exterieur et intérieur. LA maison est tres fonctionnelle et les hôtes sont très accueillants. Vivement recommandé.

An absolutely lovely stay, we stayed in April and had a mixture of weather but it was great to be able to light the fire during the rainy days. A perfect, clean, quiet and well equipped cottage perfect for our 7 day trip to explore the area with our dog pebble! Thanks again!!

week-end reposant à la campagne, des hôtes très chaleureux

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment entre amis dans cette propriété avec ses nombreuses activités, une très belle piscine et un parc magnifiquement entretenu dans un calme total. C est la destination idéale pour profiter et visiter la région.

Sharon is a great host that takes care, is around when needed and pays attention to detail. She made sure we feel welcome and that we have something to eat upon arrival. It was easy to communicate with her (through WhatsApp or AirBnB messaging) and since our French is poor it was much easier to converse in English. We visited Frôlois in October and temperatures were below 3°C at night and it got a bit chilly in the morning since the cottage is not well insulated. There are many electric heaters that we could use, but we tried to be environmentally conscious and also conscious of Sharon's electricity bill. The kitchen of the cottage is well equipped. The only thing we missed (in comparison with other apartments) is salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar and maybe some spices. You'll have to make sure that you bring everything with you or be prepared to drive 20min to the next supermarket. The gas oven is great and works well. In summer there are two options to have BBQ outside. There are plenty of books and DVDs and the Internet is fast and reliable. Beds are cosy with plenty of pillows. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are warm (or hot if needed). We were not prepared to drive a while for a coffee, but that's completely fine. We enjoyed the silence and the beautiful landscape. Thank you Sharon for being such a great host and thanks for having us as guests!
