This architecturally significant loft, surrounded by plants and trees, fills with sunshine and natural light, and boasts captivating artwork throughout. Completely detached building with private access. We have added a larger TV, sound system, music collection, and office chair not captured in images. Great space to work and relax and suitable for longer stays. We are participating in Airbnb's updated cleaning protocol and our dedicated cleaners use the correct methodology and solutions. Immaculate, spacious, high ceilinged loft in separate building on the property. Room and privacy to relax, work, write, and create. Excellent boutique hotel-quality space for traveling to Venice on business, or a few days at the beach. Our private guest loft has been a home away from home for entrepreneurs, artists and creatives; as well as folks traveling to visit various media and tech companies headquartered locally. Comfortable new queen size bed, which is up a vintage library ladder as shown in photos. Sleep above the rooftops of Venice with a beach breeze coming through the open windows and sliding doors. High speed ethernet to desk station and plasma screen; multiple wifi networks on property. Suitable for video editing and production work. Very large / high ceilinged open shower with paneled ceiling windows, like showering outside with views of sun, trees and bamboo. Studio kitchen with induction cooktop and small oven. Pod coffee / espresso maker. Large closet with hanging space and shelves for longer stays. Abundant small item storage in TV console. Audiophile Denon CD / Bluetooth stereo with Focal monitors. Playstation with games and Roku for Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, YouTubeTV (have subs for all, or use your own) Washer / dryer on property for guest use. Sorry no pets or kids. Backyard for guest use to access loft only. Your own entrance to (separate detached bldg) private loft via easy alley access with keypad lock to both doors. Abundant street parking. Half block to Simon's, Superba Bread, Deus Ex Machina and great shopping on Lincoln. Erewhon market a short walk. Easy couple block walk to heart of Abbot Kinney and short bike to beach. Surrounded by Nowita and Marco walk streets on either side; safe, quiet & secure location. Your hosts are a couple who use different entrance to the main house which is separated from the loft. We're around if you need us, but tend to stay out of the way and give guests a lot of privacy. We're gone a fair amount during weekdays and often travel on weekends, but respond to texts within a few minutes if not immediately. It's on one of the best blocks of original craftsman bungalows in Venice, surrounded only by a footpath and magical walk streets on either side. It's a walkable and bikeable area with world-class restaurants and cocktails, as well as fun beach dive bars. Quick walk to Abbot Kinney, easy access to Rose Ave, and the newer restaurants and shopping on Lincoln are concentrated one block away. Bike or walk to Venice Beach, Marina Del Rey or up the beach to Santa Monica. Quick Lyft ride to West LA, Playa Vista and Culver City and 20 mins by car to West Hollywood. Easy street parking. From the organic paint on the walls to the natural cleaning products used before each guest arrives to the hypoallergenic soaps for the linens and towels. The guest house is located at the rear of the property. Your access onto the property is via California Court, (alley) which runs between California Ave. and Milwood Ave. The entrance is secured with safe and easy to use electronic locks. For security, each guest has their own specific access code. Guests have a landscaped patio area right outside the guest house entrance where you can relax in privacy. Just steps to Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Bike or walk, (bikes provided) to the beach and along the boardwalk to Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica. You certainly won't be needing a car if you're only planning to visit Venice. My guest house is literally a one minute walk to Abbot Kinney Blvd. and a ten minute walk to the beach. Walking and biking are your best modes of transport and will give you the opportunity to see more of what Venice has to offer. If you plan on venturing out of Venice there are several transportation options: No designated parking. Street parking only. Please be aware street cleaning is on alternate sides of street Wednesday and Thursday from 9am -11am. Please check street signs before parking. There is a large overly friendly Newfoundland dog lounging around the property. His name is Luke and he's usually napping and sometimes looking for someone to pet him. He’s super friendly and completely passive. You can't beat this location!
