Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Venezia

Had a great stay at Albertos. Alexa was there to meet us as soon as we got in touch to say we'd arrived earlier than expected. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Beds comfortable. Location was good (on a quiet sidestreet) 30 yards away from No.2 bus (usually quite crowded) that takes you straight into Venice. Pattisserie across the road and a supermarket 5 minute walk away. Some tips during your stay. Ubers are very expensive but also watch out for local taxi drivers. We had one that took us on an extended tour of Mestre. Luckily we had our GPS on and caught him at it. Knocked down his 26 euro fare to 10 when confronted. Make sure you get a price and address of where you are going. Beware of ordering a large beer at some establishments or you might get a very expensive 1 Litre drink. A day trip to Verona is a good option by train (there are cheap fare options during the day). Don't worry about pushing and jostling to get on to Vaperettos. Every else does it.

This was a very nice apartment. Beautiful, safe, clean neighborhood, and the apartment was exactly as described. Easily accessible by water taxi, conveniently walkable to everything. Great place to stay in Venice!

Amazing place to stay, I would recommend to anyone trying to stay in Venice! There were 4 people total staying at this Airbnb and we had plenty of room. The amenities are very good and the place is super clean. Very responsive and nice host with great local recommendations. This place is not in the middle of the tourist area so it is peaceful, but it is very close to the center of all the action. Overall, great place to stay!

During my stay in Mestre, I rented an apartment with two rooms and a kitchen. The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped — new bathroom, fully functional kitchen and everything needed for a comfortable stay. An additional advantage was the terrace with a table with a beautiful view — the perfect place for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and the location itself is great as a starting point for Venice — fast and convenient access, without the hustle and bustle and crowds. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for comfort and peace at a reasonable price.

Riccardo was great with communication before check-in, so we knew exactly what to expect. He was welcoming when we arrived, showed us to our room, and even gave us a list of nearby restaurant recommendations, which was super helpful! The Airbnb itself was incredibly spacious—the photos online don’t do it justice. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom, and more. Having a washing machine, detergent, and an airer was especially handy on our last day. The place was also stocked with thoughtful extras like an iron, ironing board, fan, and spare pillows—nice touches even if we didn’t need them. The location was perfect, with easy transport links to Mestre Station and Venice city centre. If we return to Venice, we’d definitely stay here again. The only minor downside was that the smart TV functions weren’t working, but Riccardo made a real effort to fix it when we mentioned it. It didn’t affect our stay—we managed just fine without it!

Federico’s place was really relaxing and quiet. All the services were next door: shops, restaurants, the beach and public transportation! All our needs were met and more! Beautiful garden and amazing walk to the beach. Lido at its finest!

The welcome was very warm, Simone was always available for questions. The location is great, great beach within walking distance. The apartment and the complex are very clean. Very nice bike paths nearby. Great restaurants with delicious food and also inexpensive in the area. And the highlight of the trip to Venice and neighboring islands. We would definitely recommend the apartment.

We were hesitant about staying on the Lido at first, worried it would be complicated to get to and from Venice, but it ended up being super nice! The boats were fast, frequent and easy to use, even late at night. Allesandro was a great host, always answering all of our questions and happy to help. The place itself was spacious and clean, just a short walk to the beach and downtown area. We drove to Venice and it was very nice to be able to park right next to the apartment for free in a safe neighborhood.

Once you meet her you understand how she’s earned the rating of “Super Host”. She is honestly the very best. Extremely responsive. Goes out of her way to help. Is SUPER organized. Has loads of recommendations and is beyond helpful. The apartment is SO cute. Right on the canal and it’s actually BETTER than the photos. All bed were lovely and firm. Showers were great. Kitchen was thoughtfully supplied with everything you’d need. Even the dishes and glasses were a delight. This whole place is a vibe. Location is amazing. Legit 2 min walk from the canal where you get dropped from either train station or airport. SUPER close to everything. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Venice. Ask if her husband Ricardo is available for the private canal boat tour. Trust me - this is a special treat. Apparently only 3,500 residents (population is about 600,000) have boats and Ricardo has one! He’s also a native so he knows a ton of history!! A+++++

The apartment is great, large, well located. The neighborhood is calm, beautiful, there is a park near the building, there are lots of ways to get to the main station and to the islands. Valerio was extremely helpful since the beginning, giving clear instructions, answering quickly, always gentle. We loved our stay!

A great modern apartment in a central location. The beach, restaurants and shops are all on your doorstep however the apartment is very quiet and has a lovely private terrace. Very clean and great amenities plus excellent air conditioning for an August visit. Identical to the pictures. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are also very clean and make the Star Palace complex an excellent place to stay. A day trip to Venice is very convenient via a private bus pick up point which is 30 seconds from the apartment and then a boat trip from Jesolo, Piazza Faro. Cinzia was very responsive and helpful with the beach club booking advice etc. Lots to recommend.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The house was absolutely amazing and matched the pictures perfectly. It was extremely clean, and you could tell great care had been taken to make it feel welcoming. Loretta and her husband greeted us so warmly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They truly are the loveliest hosts, even checking on us during the weekend to ensure everything was going smoothly. Their hospitality is rare to find in Airbnbs nowadays. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back again in the future.

Fantastic experience!! Beautiful, clean location, 5 minutes from the sea. Large well-kept garden, my dog had a great time. The owner Patrizia is really very sociable and kind, always ready to give useful directions and always available. Communication throughout the excellent vacation. Highly recommended!!

It was really nice house to stay with my mom and my son. We have been warmly welcomed by our guests. The location is perfect to visit the region and enjoy the beach. It’s well equipped, clean and big enough. The garden and the terrasse are also really nice for lunches and diners. I can only recommend so stay there!

Very clean accommodation and very friendly host, helpful and present if necessary. The house is equipped with every service described and everything works perfectly. The neighborhood is very quiet and in a short time you can reach a lot of interesting things.

Leo was a great host, accurate in providing us with directions and quick to respond when we needed some clarification. A nice and spacious apartment! Nice pool! Quietly located, right next to it is a horse farm, which of course the children enjoyed very much. The kitchen is very well equipped, nothing is missing. Silvia and her husband welcomed us very kindly. Unfortunately, we were only there for two nights, due to the location, excursions to Treviso, Bassano or Marostica are possible without problems in a short time. We will be happy to come back!
