Smedstugan - lake plot

Smedstugan, by our own lake, small sandy beach and jetty. Smedstugan is located near Stenhaga, our other house we rent out here on Airbnb. No view. Fishing, rowboat included. Nice natural areas for walking in the forest and fields right by the cottage. Dishwasher, microwave, stove, washing machine, whirlpool tub. Internet - fiber connection. Fireplace in the living room. Kettle grill, charcoal, available and also a larger barbecue area on the other side of the lake. Easy to row there. The cottage has 6 beds, 3 bedrooms. Dogs are allowed, but no cats.

Talludden village Årydssjön- Högstorp

Here, you can really relax and get away from the stress of the city. A home in a lovely red cottage right on Lake Årydssjön with forest and nature behind the house. Quiet and peaceful with few neighbors. Renovated in 2016 with Danish style with natural colors. Fishing boat (April 1 - October 31) and fishing license included, sauna and Jacuzzi indoors. Jetty/patio with swimming ladder where you can also enjoy a lovely lunch. Sit and grill at the wonderful campfire right on the lake with your closest friends and family on a summer evening. Welcome!

Cozy cottage

A cozy cottage with its own patio facing greenery. Private barbecue and secluded. The cottage has a kitchenette, bathroom (low ceiling) with shower and washing machine. Free parking. The bed is 160 cm wide and the sofa is a small sofa bed with room for a child or an adult who does not care so much about comfort. Large TV is available with Chromecast where you can choose programs yourself if you can stream from your phone. Located about 3 km from the beach, 1.3 km from the station and about 900 meters from the nearest grocery store. Welcome!

Minibacke is a lovely countryside accommodation in Nykulla, 25 km north of Växjö. You will stay in a newly renovated barn with fields and forests outside the door and with many attractions nearby. The accommodation is best suited for 2 people. In the kitchen, you can cook lighter meals. Stove, microwave, coffee maker and fridge with freezer compartment available. Smart TV with Chromecast and Soundbar with Bluetooth connection. Bathroom with toilet, shower, washer and dryer. Sauna and an outdoor bathtub with hot water. 2 bicycles are included.

Hattstugan in Braås

Welcome to my little fairy-tale castle built in the late 1700s. Close to Braås and Lake Örken, in a nature reserve that was formerly an English park. Surrounded by former ponds for an ironworks, now wetland and rich birdlife. Nearby are more historic buildings, the hermitage and the Dragon House. 1.5 km to the village, shop and pizzeria. 700m to the lake with swimming. Fully-equipped kitchen. Large wooden deck. Beautiful location in forest by lake

The cottage "Sjöbranten" is surrounded by trees down to a lake. There are no visible neighbors, so here you can enjoy the quiet tranquility of the forest. Private swimming bridge with rowboat, inflatable kayaks, paddle board and various swimming animals. Terrace from which the lake view can be enjoyed The house is not luxurious but spacious, cozy and incredibly beautiful. 7 beds in 3 bedrooms and 4 extra beds in unheated annex. Note: The bathroom floor has settled, which means that baths must be taken while sitting in the bathtub

Close to Åsnen, its national park and free nature

With the lake Åsnen at sight, open fields around it and the forest behind, this place can offer all the best of Swedish countryside. The cottage is across the courtyard to the main house. Your entrance is facing mine, but outside the backdoor you´ll find all the space you need to be on your own. Nice beaches on convenient distance and within a radius of 10 km you will find cosy cafés, farmers shops and much more. And not to forget: Åsnen National Park, of which I´m certified as a collaborator.

Farmhouse by the lake.

Stay on a living farm. On the farm, there are cows, sheep, chickens, cats and rabbits. It is about 50 meters to the lake, where the host family's rowing boat or canoe can be borrowed for a quiet ride on the lake or for fishing. There is also a barbecue area by the lake. About 200 meters from the house is a swimming area with a sandy beach. Nice hiking trails in the forest. It is only 13 km to the center of Växjö. There has previously been a cat in the house and even a dog has been visiting.

Our little cabin by the lake

At the homestead called Hamborg, grandfather's old cottage stands in a beautiful, secluded meadow by Lake Örken. It offers a simple but close to nature accommodation close to the lake, swimming and fishing. Here you can experience total peace and silence far from neighbours. A rowing boat is available to borrow and a short walk through the forest there is a nice swimming area with a small sandy beach. There are beautiful surroundings for hiking in the forest or on the gravel roads.

House by the lake outside Växjö, good fishing, boat included

Detta nybyggda hus med egen tomt ligger precis vid sjön Furen. Ett väldigt lugnt läge mitt ute i skogen där naturen verkligen ligger i fokus. Tillgång till båt för mysiga fisketurer eller att ta en tur längsmed Helige Å som kan vara en magisk upplevelse. Här kan du sitta och mysa både inne vid de stora panoramafönstren eller ute på altanen och njuta av utsikten över sjön. Perfekt stuga för fiske eller avkoppling men ändå nära till Växjö (20 km) där butiker och restauranger finns.

Lake House at Skälsnäs Mansion in Småland

On a peninsula of the famous Lake Helga in Småland, with a rich fish population, forests and an abundance of animals, we rent out a lake house directly on the lake. Horses and sheep graze on the property, which was once owned by Gustav Wasa. Dogs (max. 2) are welcome, at a cost of € 12 per dog/night. A boat (4.5 hp motor) can be hired for €50/day including fuel. You can also rent our ‘Guesthouse’ (see there) and ‘Brygghus’ (see there), both with lake view.
