Apartment in a great location, spacious, well arranged and crossing. From the balcony overlooking the harbor and the park and rooms overlooking the church. It's super nice to have lunch with the rising sun. On the other hand, if like me, you are sensitive to noises don't forget your quiescent balls! But despite that, I had a great stay and I recommend this apartment in the heart of Royan.

I wanted a place close to nature yet accessible to restaurants if I wanted. If you are looking for a calmer spot this is it. The walking paths are beautiful. Just staying out front of Gaelle's was enough for me. We ate fresh oysters on the garden table looking at the ocean. I was very happy.

Located in a beautiful village, no cars but parking close enough to the accommodation. Marie gave us very clear instructions and is present and responsive. The accommodation was quite suitable and comfortable for 3. No problem to report!

Great host, well-equipped accommodation, beautiful location for visiting Oléron Island

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Great stay at Marie's! I liked the house so much during a previous stay that I went back.

Very pleasant stay - despite sometimes uncertain weather - at Delphine's. We already know the island well but were able to discover a wilder side by staying near the beach of Vert-Bois that we enjoyed very much. The accommodation was ideal for 5 people, spacious and well-equipped and we enjoyed its geographical location. Thank you for the small hosting touches as well as for the very fluid communication from one end to the other of this reservation.

Need we say more about the villa that Marie offers? You can come without a second thought. Everything is spotless. I'm looking for a flaw to reproach him but I couldn't find anything:-) We will return to the island of Oléron, and it will be at Marie's. Thank you Marie for everything

Great stay at Pascale's. We were very well hosted by Karl who was very accommodating with our arrival and departure times. He had previously advised us on visits to do and gave good restaurants and outings in Royan. He showed us around and gave us all the information we needed to know for our stay. The apartment is amazing and I confirm what other guests say about the apartment which is even better than in the photos. It is extremely well equipped, tastefully decorated and very clean. I also wanted to emphasize that the mattress is right for a good night's sleep. The highlight is the location of the apartment which is by the beach and central to all the activities we were able to do on foot. In short, I strongly advise other guests to come and stay in this beautiful apartment located in this little corner of heaven. Thanks again!!!

The apartment is in a very good location right in front of the beach and very close to the port and the city center. You can walk everywhere. It is spacious, very well arranged and equipped. Perfect for 6 people without being on top of each other. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking from morning to night. Really a nice place.
