Beach house vacation rentals in Vaux-sur-Mer

Accommodation as described, beach, accessible in two minutes, unsupervised, without being crowded with people. I recommend a stay at Sandrine's, apartment in a quiet residence.

It was for Christmas and coming with my grandchildren, JP had the delicacy to put up a small tree and offered a superb box of chocolates. Nice very bright house. The heating was on when we arrived. Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Our stay was very pleasant, the area offering, besides the sea, many activities. The house is in a very good location, on a quiet street. The beach and beachfront shops are reached by foot in minutes. The house is great for a family with two children.

Great stay in Oleron Island! We were hosted very well, the accommodation is very pleasant and functional. We were able to park the car in the garden and enjoy the spacious terrace. We would recommend this accommodation, best of the best!

A very pleasant stay thanks to a clear and well appointed accommodation, an ideal proximity to the sea, many sites to visit around Marennes, and a nice meeting with Fabien and his parents! There's only one thing to want to go back!

Need we say more about the villa that Marie offers? You can come without a second thought. Everything is spotless. I'm looking for a flaw to reproach him but I couldn't find anything:-) We will return to the island of Oléron, and it will be at Marie's. Thank you Marie for everything

Thomas and Sabrina's house is very well located, less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and shops / restaurants / casino It's really a central place between Royan (center) and Saint Palais, Palmyra, etc. Many activities and walks close by. The house itself is a small house but perfectly arranged and pleasant, it is quiet and no parking problems. All at a very reasonable rate for those who know how nice and in-demand this area is! In addition, both Sabrina and Thomas were very responsive and friendly in our exchanges. I will find it without hesitation.

Wonderful well presented home. Very clean with all the amenities you need. Great pool and table tennis! Hosts very welcoming and helpful. Easy to walk into the centre or down to the beach. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Comfortable accommodation, arranged and furnished with taste and refinement. Very well located, both close to the beach and the heart of the city, it offers all the qualities of luxury accommodation. Jean-Marc, our host, was always very responsive and answered all our questions and queries clearly. Our communication with him has always been efficient and smooth. We had a great time at Jean-Marc's and will be happy to come back on occasion.

We had a very relaxing stay. The home was beautiful with everything needed. It is accurately described and we weren’t disappointed. The kids, young and old enjoyed the pool. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen very well equipped and laundry room made coming home a breeze with clean clothes. We stayed just out of summer season so it was pretty quiet and some shops in St Palais sur mer were closed. Large supermarkets were a short drive away. A very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

We had a pleasant stay. The house is comfortable and practical. The small garden with sand was very popular with the children and the pretty beach of the Naïades is within walking distance. We highly recommend this listing.

A great stay in this large and beautiful house 400 m from a small family beach, close to the Cotinière and close to St Pierre d 'Oléron. Very well equipped, our family enjoyed this week under a big sun.

We had a wonderful time at Marc's place in Verdon sur mer. We don't lie when we say that staying at the little cute beach house was one of our best Airbnb experiences. The location is super great for bike excursions, beach walks and shopping tours. The open Atlantic Ocean with its wonderful extensive beaches is very quickly reached by car and has given us five wonderful vacation days. But our highlight was the small chic cottage, which welcomed us without much frills but with an incredible amount of comfort. The boule court made us lunchtime sweeter and the terrace was the ideal place for us adults in the evening. The fenced property is perfect for a pleasant holiday with dog. The fact that there were almost no mosquitoes should not go unmentioned. We thank you for the wonderful time and hope for further stays in the dream cottage.

Pleasant welcome. Very clean and very well-equipped accommodation. The owners also provide bicycles, making it easy for us to go shopping. The bike path is 2 minutes away and took us to beautiful beaches crossing the forest. Really great!
