Cabin vacation rentals in Vancouver Island

Was looking for a little get away with my dog, found this place and it was perfect. Fenced in area for my pooch, hot tub out back that was well looked after, bed was comfortable and the inside was cozy and relaxing. Would highly recommend this place!

Clean minimalist design, great location walkable to both beach and restaurants. Really special property.

The Copper Cabin was the perfect cozy and private retreat. It is conveniently located for Tofino or Ucluelet and we had an amazing time exploring both areas. Everything was as described - very clean and the cabin smells amazing. Hot tub worked well and was a very nice touch after long days of surfing and hiking. The walkable hike (half moon beach) is stunning and very worth the effort!

The cottage is perfectly situated overlooking the water and provides gorgeous mornings and evenings. It is a nice quiet escape and the hot tub is very relaxing. I would recommend!

We had a great stay at John's Cabin. Easy to check in and amenities are great. We loved being walk in distance to the beach and Wild Pacific Trail

The space was perfect! Great location, comfortable bedding, nice hot tub, quick access to the beach and absolutely amazing sunset views from the balcony. Hosts were great, lots of helpful info and super responsive. Awesome stay in Ucluelet and would love to come back!

The "cabin" feels brand new--spacious, modern, clean, comfortable with gorgeous views!! The pictures really don't do it justice. Melissa was very proactive and responsive, and the cabin is conveniently located very close to the harbor. The road is shared by cars and pedestrians so even though it was well located we didn't feel comfortable walking. They warn that the driveway is quite steep, and it truly is! Took us awhile to get comfortable parking and while parking is available on the road above the cabin we wouldn't have been able to manage the driveway on foot. Just a note for anyone with any mobility challenges (or fear of heights)!

We had a fabulous 4 day stay with perfect weather! We loved the access to the sea, the views from the balcony especially at sun set, the peaceful location and the hot tube. Rhys and Joanne were perfect hosts- very friendly and helpful. This was our first visit to the Sunshine Coast which we loved and feel so happy we found the cabin and its perfect location! Thank you

Wandas place was a haven for those just looking for a break from the city. Close to great restaurants like crow & gate and Mahle. Close to relaxing easy but scenic trails. Parks. Farmers market on sundays (maybe weekends) Big and really quiet space.

A super cute, clean , and well appointed cabin… looked brand new! Very quiet with an amazing nature nearby! We wld definitely choose to stay here again.

What an amazing experience staying at Debra’s place . So calm and peaceful . We had an amazing night there, very recovering ! I recommend!!!!

Beautiful property and views! The wall of windows looking out over the ocean and distant islands is just incredible. Gorgeous outdoor space to overlook it all with a beer. 2 small bedrooms, just enough space for 2 adult couples as long as you're not travelling with lots of luggage. Amazingly well equipped private gym with wifi speakers and infrared sauna (although didn't use this more than once as takes a long time to heat up). Very small shower, but not really an issue. Plus bathtub if you prefer. We appreciated the fresh eggs and coffee, and visiting the chickens. Good location for peace and quiet (bring earplugs if roosters bother you, but we loved the wake up calls!). We'd love to come again - thanks Yashar.

This cabin was beyond cozy—just the right size with a beautiful, calming aesthetic. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and while private, it never felt too isolated. The sauna was a perfect way to unwind after exploring. Comfortable beds, abundance of hot water, and having laundry on-site were great additions. The evening lighting outside created such a nice ambiance, and we appreciated the labels on light switches and clear instructions for the thermostat. Thoughtful touches from L&M for our Golden, Murphy, made him feel just as welcome as we did. The fully enclosed yard gave us peace of mind—especially being in the heart of nature. Not far from the most gorgeous nature walk, and not a far drive for key amenities. Big shout out to Laurel for the pet friendly patio recommendations! This wasn’t only a magical property… but experience in itself. We hope to be back in the future. Thank you so much for making our mini-moon memorable.

Vilupti’s cabin was just what we needed. We needed a spot close to Bodega Ridge for a wedding where our girls and us could stay. It’s a small space but well stocked and decorated and worked great for what we needed! Thanks so much

We had a great experience staying at Kat and Pierce‘s place in Ucluelet. Everything was easy to find: the property, getting in, and the appliances. Very cool location in a row of landlocked cottages. The area was busy with fellow travelers and the walk to the beach was about 20 to 25 minutes. There was one parking spot with additional parking down the lane. The cabin was cozy for two people. Great hosts, good communication, and nice property.

Beautiful property and very cool house; as advertised. The owners live on the same property in a seperate building, but they give you your privacy and it didn't bother us at all. Love the way the place was decorated, and the master bed was very comfortable (can't speak for the other 2 beds as there was only my partner and I). The deer and rabits outside the window when we woke up was a nice surprise! It is about a 25min drive away to get anywhere, but the country neighborhood is nice to drive through. Lots of walking/hiking trails in the area. Would recommend!

We stayed at the simple peak to celebrate a 40th bday. The place is stunning, everything down to the flatware is high end but feels so comfortable. We loved coffee on the outdoor couches, hot tubbing and playing games around the dining table. Thank you for sharing this special place! We are already talking about how we can plan to come back.

This was my second time staying at this beautiful cabin, and it was absolutely wonderful. June is such a magical time to visit. Hummingbirds and blooming flowers surround you, mornings are peaceful with the cool sun, and evenings bring stunning moonrises. Kayaking was a blast, especially with the seals popping up to say hello! Walking down to the dock and spotting starfish along the rocks was an unexpected delight. The cabin itself is perfect: the space is cozy and inviting, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen and shower are great. Wonderful stay at this little cabin. We loved how close it was to the beach, and we rode the bikes provided every night for sunset. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay near the beach but still have their own privacy.

Our family of 4 had an amazing stay at the Zephyr Cottage in Sooke. The area is absolutely beautiful and the cottage is the perfect home base to explore and go out on adventures. It’s also conveniently close to town so we could quickly grab some food at the grocery store or at the restaurant. The hosts were also very accommodating as we were traveling with young children. Would highly recommend!

Gorgeous space and location! Having 2 outdoor spaces with lots of seating was amazing. The beds are comfy; the windows make it seem like you are in the trees. Great little book with tips for the area. I would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Marissa’s cozy cabin! The beautiful woodwork and fresh wood smell made the place feel warm and inviting from the moment we walked in. The bedrooms were cute, comfy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit for evenings under the stars, and the indoor chimney added the perfect touch of charm. The games were a fun bonus too! Highly recommend for a peaceful and cozy getaway.

Our stay was wonderful! The house, the backyard and its surroundings were perfect for a girlfriends get-away. The house is beautifully designed and facilitates a very comfortable stay and connection to the outdoor space. The exterior sauna is a treat, and close proximity of a stream allowed us to enjoy a cold dip for a full Scandinavian spa-type experience!

We had an amazing stay. The cabin was inviting and cozy, and we were relaxed immediately walking up to it. Robin was very kind and we enjoyed talking with him. Joni gave us an amazing tour of the property, and answered the many questions we had about the area and things to do/see. The location was also perfect. Close to town but far enough to feel secluded, and the lookout across the street was wonderful. We highly recommend staying at their cabin!
