Vacation rentals with a kayak in Van Buren County

We enjoyed our stay in Benton Harbor. Our kids loved taking our small dog out for walks and seeing the beach and sunsets nearby. We had a great time on our vacation which was not far from great locations like St. Joe’s, Holland and even Grand Rapids. We highly recommend Ethan’s Air B and B and look forward to coming back in the summer.

Such a nice little lake house! Honestly looked even better than the photos. I booked the day of a few hours before and the hosts were very prompt in accepting my request. House was spotless, bed was comfy, loved the pool table and backyard. Would love to come back with friends in the summer when it’s warmer out!

Great lake house for our multi-family gathering. Pontoon rental was perfect for fishing! We caught our limit of bluegill each day. Young and old especially loved the swinging in the great room looking into the lake. Power recliner and couch made watching TV relaxing. Girls loved painting rocks. And our 3 year old grandson was in love with cars and toys to play with.

Howard is an amazing host. He was super responsive and accommodating to our large group. He had all the amenities that were listed on the property and more! We had more than enough towels and even kitchen appliances, spices, and utensils. His instructions were clear about checking out and our group had a wonderful weekend. Sarah’s place was as described snd better. We brought snacks and didn’t leave the chairs down by the water until after dark. It was so peaceful and inviting. The beds were incredibly comfy, the entire place was very clean. Head’s up, as described & expected there were some bugs - lake life!! I am not a bug person but they were not ‘bothersome’ enough to bend my great experience at this gorgeous home. Next time my friend & I will likely bring our kids because the home is prepped & ready for them!

We loved this place. The ducks in the lake that visited frequently. The details were carefully chosen. The comfort, the stove, the spacing gave us room to move, the games created memories for us to enjoy and talk about. Thank you for a lovely experience.

From the outset, this was a very enjoyable Airbnb experience. Geri provided a very useful amount of information about the property and area eateries, wineries, etc. The home was made available to us earlier than expected, was clean, very well-stocked, and ready for our use. The WIFI apparatus was robust and very easy to connect to. We truly enjoyed the beautiful, wooded surroundings...especially in mid-October...spectacular colors. We got onto the lake for some fishing using the provided kayaks. Nice bass in the lake! We used the firepit each evening, so the firewood that was made available to us was put to excellent use! I cannot overstate how impressed we were with the thoughtful outfitting of the home...kitchenware, toiletries, bedding, games, outdoor furniture, plenty of coffee, and more; everything we might want was available to us. Geri's husband John gave us a fun and interesting tour of their neighboring farmstead...highly recommended! Kudos Geri!

Absolutely perfect home for a peaceful family getaway! Couldn’t recommend more!! The house was perfectly decorated with bespoke touches, mixing comfort with a beautiful style… you can tell how much love they’ve put into the home to give it the most special vibe. Everything just gives you a sense of peace, matching all the nature. Waking up surrounded by the forrest from every angle was priceless. The house has everything you need for a good time with a family (kids or no kids). We had our little one with us and the hosts had everything we needed, making the stay so much easier and hassle free. The local recos were also great! The walkable beaches were so pretty and fun for the whole family. Highly recommend!!! :)

We had a wonderful stay. We took a multi-generational trip and there was something for everyone - fishing, hot tub, close to town and shopping- all while having privacy. Beautiful piece of property. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Such a charming lake house

We had a great time and easy check in and check out, place was clean and easy to find. My kids enjoyed the outside area , and our host communicated well and helped us accommodate our early check in due to us arriving earlier than expected so I really appreciate that!! I would definitely recommend this place for family and friends when they come visit.

Holly’s Cozy Cottage was just that! It was comfortable and clean with yard games and a fire pit. The screened in porch was where we spent most of our time. Holly provided lots of unexpected amenities to make our stay comfortable. Holly was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend a stay at this AirBNB!

The place was nice and cozy and spacious. I especially loved the big kitchen! The surrounding area is quiet and so peaceful, I can only imagine how beautiful the lake must look like in the summer. Angela was quick to respond/answer any questions or concerns I had, I would definitely rent this place again.

The cottage was spotlessly clean. Beautiful setting. Very comfortable. Melinda is an excellent host. The cottage is in walking distance to all the best restaurants. Melinda's cottage is wonderful and we had a great stay!

Liz was an absolute wonderful host! We booked this Airbnb to celebrate our mom’s birthday and mine and my husband’s anniversary and it was PERFECT! We had access to plenty of water toys and kayaks! Every night we sat in the enclosed patio and enjoyed the views. Liz even left us fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers that we used to make a beautiful garden salad! We are vegetarians so it was truly a treat! We would definitely recommend this home to any family and we look forward to renting here again!

Me and the boys had a great weekend and enjoyed the nice quiet place to catch up and make more memories!

Grocer nearby and lots of beautiful roads to bike. I stayed for a short time but will be back. It's a series of cabins with a social area in the middle which I imagine in the summer is probably fun to mingle with the neighbors. Thank you

The place is just fantastic if you’re looking for peace and quiet and you want to get away from the big city life wherever you live this is the place to come and enjoy the country fresh vegetables, fruit dairy freshwater minutes away from Lake Michigan +10 sister Lakes walking distance to two of them. I can’t say enough Highly recommended. And budget friendly prices and the staff and team are fantastic.
