Thanks for making me feel right at home. I don’t know if you are aware of the tenants up but they was very noisy late at night.

My family really enjoyed our stay at The Asylum! It was perfect to get to all the downtown restaurants and shops by foot! It was even a short enough walk to the main beaches. We rented a golf cart tho which was super fun! John, even reserved a 2nd parking spot for it! Maeda, the property manager, was just amazing to deal with as well! She was responsive and made sure our trip was perfect!! Overall, it was a great stay and we will hopefully be back!

The room said dog friendly and definitely lived up to that. They provided dog bowls and good thing because we happened to forget ours. As for the host, she’s very responsive! All in all it was a great experience and I enjoyed my stay.

Great host. Responds immediately. Place is exactly like the picture. luckily didn't have noisey neighbors during my stay. I think the heat and air are connected to the other tenets as it smelt like cigarettes one morning but only happened once. I look forward to staying again.

Great, great, great location. We did not have children but the water park across the field would be wonderful for kids. We walked in just a few minutes to the beach to see the sunsets and to walk along the beach. Enjoyed the kitchen area and porch off the bedroom. We had no problem with needing to walk through one bedroom to get to the other bedroom as our sleep patterns allowed the person who woke up last to have that room. Good communication and we were welcomed when we arrived and given thorough information about the house. All our destinations were close to travel to so that was great as well. We hated leaving.

Good place to stay. It was clean and amenities were as described. The host, Angela was very responsive. Had to extend our stay twice. Would stay there again if needed.

“Room with a view” is very accurate. I stayed in the bedroom and it was as described. Clean and comfortable. My two favorite things were walking the back pasture through the woods and finding a log to hangout on for a while and then having a bonfire under the stars. I would definitely come back. This place was exactly what we needed and the host was so welcoming. The house is right off the highway with several gas stations, fast food restaurants, and even a brewery. The bedrooms and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable.

James’ condo is well laid out with two spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, kitchen and pantry, as well as a balcony overlooking the pier 33 marina. James had quick response times and even quickly had batteries delivered to the front door when the key lock was dying. He supplied a pass to the beach as well as bathroom and beach amenities. Silver beach and downtown was a quick walk down the road. The hospital was a two minute drive away. And there is a restaurant next door to the building. I stayed in the condo for a month and my mom joined me towards the end. We cannot thank James enough for a clean and luxurious stay.

Very clean and simple unit. A nice place to lay your head. Close to everything. Downtown shops and restaurants as well as the beach within walking distance. Perfectly located to just about everything.

I had a great experience here. It was decoated with a little Christmas tree and holiday lights, very cheery. Big kitchen, quiet neighborhood, walk to restaurants and stores. My host gave me lots of privacy and use of the driveway. Quiet and peaceful sleeping. Check out the cute town with colorful buildings. Budget friendly!

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

I booked Louie’s place for a work trip to be near a local wedding venue where we were setting up & taking down wedding flowers & Louie was very responsive & helpful with questions about parking our truck & any information we needed. The place is surprisingly spacious & very comfortable. The couches in the living room were very cozy! The place was also very clean & easy to get into. The front bedroom is very loud at night but that’s also been noted in past reviews & we were expecting that. It was very easy to get to food & beverage options are easy to find. We LOVED the coffee shop & restaurant inside The Market in St. Joseph (a 4 minute drive from the apartment). I would definitely book this place again!

Not only was the place peaceful and serene it was clean and perfect. She allows you in to her barn to visit with the horses. the little dogs were great. 1 of the young ladies gave me hay to feed 1 of the horses. the sunset last night was beautiful. A great way to celebrate 20 years of marriage.

Comfortable space in a great walkable neighborhood. Hosts are great and very responsive. Recommend!!

Everything was as described, really cool historical building, redone beautifully. Had all the amenities you could ask for.

Great place for a weekend getaway. Very nice loft in a great location on the edge of downtown South Haven. Plenty of space with a very comfortable living room. Was pretty much perfect for our stay.
