This Airbnb is pretty good for small town, southwest Michigan! 4 or 5 doors down from the police department, and the area is super quiet. I thought the bathroom was a bit tight, and I don’t think this feature of the unit was emphasized enough through pics. My mom is Claustrophobic and I had to repeatedly apologize to her because I couldn’t really tell it was so small. Overall, I’m happy with the convenience it afforded me near my loved ones, and I’d stay again by myself.

Loved staying here, super close to the beach. Quiet and clean, no issues. It was all about the location for us. Check in was simple, hosts were kind and responsive to messages. Would absolutely stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at Scott Lake! The building where the AirBnB is located is absolutely beautiful, and I loved learning about its history. The area is perfect—private and peaceful, yet with plenty to do. My friend and I had a fantastic time kayaking on the lake and spending the evening by the bonfire under the stars. We’re already looking forward to visiting this place again!

Nice place, fit exactly what I was looking for. Just about everything about the place and host we're spot on, only negative I would have is the terribly weak water pressure.

Perfect location, 6m walk to downtown in one direction and 6m walk to the beach in the other. Bed was comfortable, if a little squeaky, bathroom was big and everything was very clean. Deck was nice to just sit and hangout in the morning or at night, street was very quiet and peacful. Simple checkin instructions and no checkout instructions which is nice, great host.

In overall, my experience at this Airbnb was good. There was certain things that I would have considered telling people, but that is just my opinion, but I did feel safe and I feel like my needs were met.

My family really enjoyed our stay at The Asylum! It was perfect to get to all the downtown restaurants and shops by foot! It was even a short enough walk to the main beaches. We rented a golf cart tho which was super fun! John, even reserved a 2nd parking spot for it! Maeda, the property manager, was just amazing to deal with as well! She was responsive and made sure our trip was perfect!! Overall, it was a great stay and we will hopefully be back!

Steep hill to walk a few blocks into town but once there, lovely options for food and such. I did bike around and it was really great, and the place was easy to find again. Secure garage parking was great for both car and bikes on our bike rack. Very quiet at night, with tree frog and other night sounds from nature while sitting on the balcony. Many bird tweets in the morning could be heard sitting on the balcony, as well.

Had an awesome stay, the Airbnb itself is very nice and the woods on the property are beautiful. Jennifer was insanely kind and helpful and offered every amenity you could think of, can't wait to stay at this one again.

Beautiful space located extremely close to the beach and downtown area. We left our car parked in the lot the entire weekend and were able to easily navigate throughout the area. The apartment was spacious and clean! Angela and team provided easy communication and instructions throughout the entire process. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

I booked Louie’s place for a work trip to be near a local wedding venue where we were setting up & taking down wedding flowers & Louie was very responsive & helpful with questions about parking our truck & any information we needed. The place is surprisingly spacious & very comfortable. The couches in the living room were very cozy! The place was also very clean & easy to get into. The front bedroom is very loud at night but that’s also been noted in past reviews & we were expecting that. It was very easy to get to food & beverage options are easy to find. We LOVED the coffee shop & restaurant inside The Market in St. Joseph (a 4 minute drive from the apartment). I would definitely book this place again!

Great place to stay for my family of 3! Very cute, spacious, clean, welcoming and so close to downtown and everything you need! Claire was very responsive and easy to talk to/ask questions. Highly recommend :)

Not only was the place peaceful and serene it was clean and perfect. She allows you in to her barn to visit with the horses. the little dogs were great. 1 of the young ladies gave me hay to feed 1 of the horses. the sunset last night was beautiful. A great way to celebrate 20 years of marriage.

Stayed here for over almost month for a work trip. Place looked just like the pictures and the owner always responded quickly. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Loved the uniqueness of this property, which was both charming and comfortable. Beautiful grounds, great location that was walkable to shops, beach, lighthouse, eateries, etc. Would gladly stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! South Haven was a fun little town to visit with beaches, coffee shops, ice cream, and breweries. All of which are walkable! We had everything we needed at Benny's on Broadway! The hosts did a fantastic job providing all the little things you could need! All their directions were easy to follow and clear. A helpful tip for anyone traveling with kids or individuals/couples that sleep separately in the living room/bedroom, the floors are 'creaky'. In an open living space, it makes it a bit tough to move around or do much when others are sleeping. We traveled with 2 kids and we made it work! But we recommend bringing an extra noise machine or at least accounting for it. (the hosts provide one in the bedroom for you) Overall, we loved it and wouldn't change anything about our trip or visit! It was an awesome little Airbnb!

We love South Haven and love staying at this place. It is a quick walk to downtown. The bed was comfortable as well.
