Tuula et Matti sont bienveillants, très accueillants et à l'écoute. Heureux de partager et faire partager leur Culture: le dîner Sâme à base de poisson en est un exemple. L'appartement est fonctionnel, très soigné et très propre. Le sauna permet de se détendre et apporte du bien être. L'emplacement offre une connexion totale avec la nature sauvage. Il est un point idéal pour les observations des aurores boréales. À proximité de la ferme de Tuula, on peut aller voir les rennes régulièrement, se promener à ski, à trottinette, à pieds sur le lac Mudus gelé l'hiver. Les temps de visite, avec la découverte de l'artisanat organisés par Tuula nous offrent une immersion totale dans les Us et Coutumes Sâmes: la vie au quotidien, le travail, les 4 saisons de la région, le respect de l'animal etc... Encore mille fois merci pour cette semaine de dépaysement et d'enrichissement.

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Andreas Cabin ist sehr gemütlich, ich hatte alles was ich brauchte, es war schön warm und es gab auch gutes Internet zum Arbeiten. Andreas war ein toller Gastgeber, hat mich vom Bus abgeholt bei der Anreise, mir Skier zur Verfügung gestellt und war immer erreichbar. Ich konnte mit dem Auto die Gegend erkunden, konnte dabei die wunderschöne Landschaft genießen, habe Rentiere und Polarlichter gesehen. Preis-Leistung war perfekt, würde wieder kommen! :)

Our Stay at Essie’s and Pieter’s Cabin was marvelous. The Cabin was really cute and convenient, the location was perfect, close to the nature and in a calm place. It was perfect to stay during winter, and we will come back someday to discover the place during summer !

John è un host fantastico. La sua casa è bellissima. C'è un patio con vista sul mare incantevole. Possibilità di parcheggio. La cucina è ben fornita di tutto. Tv, salone e poltrone super comode. Il bagno è con doccia e c'è una toilette che incenerisce quel che fa😁. Consiglio a tutti. Ringrazio ancora John per averci ospitati.

Wir kamen spät im dunkeln und bei Schneesturm an.....das war nicht der beste anfang. Aber schon am nächsten morgen erwachten wir bei einem magischen Sonnenaufgang. Das Blockhaus ist sehr schön und dank des Ofens kann man es sich seh gemütlich machen. Es ist sauber und alles da was man braucht. Der Sauna Anbau mit dem neuen Bad ist sehr schön. Wir haben beim Saunieren die Nordlichter gesehen. Das ist einmalig. Die Schneemobil und Eisangel Tour mit Hannu war ein Traum.....die weite der Landschaft....das Eisangeln auf dem See.....mit der Pause in einer Blockhütte am see ist nicht zu übertreffen. Auch die Husky Tour im nahegelegenen Norwegen war ein erlebnis was wir nicht missen wollen. Wir haben außerdem sehr viel über Huskys erfahren. Auch konnten wie jeden Tag Nordlichter beobachten was für uns das erste Mal und einmalig schön war. Rundum war es eine unglaublich schöne Woche bei Ann Marie und Hannu. Wir werden wieder kommen.....

The cabin is very nice and cozy, Aino and Anna are very good hosts, they are very responsive and gave us good tips on what to do in the area. One evening we were lucky to watch northern lights from their pier, which was wonderful, while sitting on reindeer skin :) We also went ice fishing with Aino and Anna and rented some skiing equipment which was a good activity to do during our stay :) Aino and Anna also prepared some fish for us which was very nice. The only disadvantage of the place is that the main road is near the cabin so you can see and hear cars driving by from time to time when outside which disrupts the feeling of nature a bit. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place :)

This place was amazing! The location is perfect and the surroundings are totally beautiful! The house has everything you need. The only extra recommendation is to rent a car because otherwise is very difficult to move around the place. Other than that, 100% recommended!!

Renate is a very kind and helpful host. She provided great instructions to the cabin and other advice as we asked. The place is charming. Besides the living room the other spaces are small but well thought out and you have all the necessities. For me these were the most comfortable sheets I have had in Norway. We listened to music, cooked a delicious diner and even had some Northern lights. The stairs to the extra bed are not comfortable and can hurt your feet - it is best to climb them with shoes. If you have a sleeper upstairs think to close all the curtains in the living room - we had day light as early as 3 am and this was disruptive for the person upstairs. Otherwise it is perfect and the view is gorgeous. No other neighbors: just you and the lake (and Renate’s house nearby but not obstructing your view).

Easily one of our favorite AirBnBs we have stayed in. Beautiful home, in a quiet and equally as beautiful location. Thoughtfully constructed and furnished. We were able to see the very vibrant auroras from Inside the house and we even went out back, laid in the snow for an hour watching them dance in the sky. Fully furnished kitchen so very easy to cook in. The shower and sauna were amazing! Other positives were the SLEDDING hill out back and man was that FUN! They even had snowshoes for us to try out. It was an incredible experience and we will return to this very place next time we come to Finland!

We had the Northern Lights right in front of the terrace and looked forward to the sauna and the cozy stove at home after every adventure. We would have loved to stay longer and are 100% thrilled with both the accommodation and the area.

Merci à Inge pour ce merveilleux séjour. Inge est un hôte très accueillant, toujours soucieux du bien-être de ses locataires. Il nous a aidé dans une situation difficile et a été de très bons conseils pour les visites à faire dans les environs. Cette maison est un petit coin de paradis les alentours peuplés de bouleaux, la petite rivière, les sous-bois sont enchanteurs pour une balade medidative. La maison est impeccable parfaitement propre. Tout est étudié avec soin. La terrasse donne une vue splendide sur la rivière et sur la Canopée. Un rêve serait de venir en hiver …

The cabin is very cozy, beautiful and in peaceful location. It’s definitely better if you have a car (but otherwise the bus stop from Saariselka direction is 10 min walk from the cabin and all the way to Saariselka is around 45 min walk). There is a huge net of wonderful interconnected cross country skiing tracks all around Saariselka and Laanila area so we rented skis in Saariselka to enjoy the surrounding nature. The host is responsive and gave us an opportunity to check in earlier and check out a bit later, which was very much appreciated. The cabin has all the amenities you might need and the sauna was nice. The only downside was the tree sap leaking from the wood all around the inside of the cabin, especially in the sauna , but also in other areas, so you have to be careful not to touch it accidentally. The internet is slow. Overall we had a very nice stay :)

It is hard to adequately describe this cabin; we had such a wonderful escape here. We stayed for 4 nights and although the weather was very good to us we felt assured that we would have enjoyed it whatever season we had visited. Mika ensures everything you need is there and you should not visit without doing one of his trips/activities - we spent a fabulous afternoon ice fishing, followed by dinner, expertly cooked on the campfire. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience - we definitely won't forget cracking the ice for a swim, in between saunas.

The apartment was really cozy and with a beautiful view (even from the sauna) and the e kitchen had everything we needed. The area is very quiet and we got some really good views of the aurora. If you are traveling as a group of six, you should keep in mind, that two of the beds are located in an open area under the roof with no standing height, so they are more suitable for children. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back 😊

Värdarna var ett par mycket trevliga pensionärer. Platsen otroligt vacker. Hytten jag låg i nere vid vattnet var tyst och fridfull. De som ligger i hytterna intill vägen kanske får en annan upplevelse. Boendet var rustikt. Det är inte en modern standard, men istället mycket mysigt och hemtrevligt. Köket var inte fullt utrustat, men värdarna var mycket tillmötesgående med att fixa det jag behövde.

Wir wurden von Hjørdis persönlich sehr herzlich empfangen und sie hat uns gleich alles gezeigt und auch während des Aufenthaltes hat sie geschrieben, um sicherzugehen, dass wir uns wohl fühlen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Glasiglu sehr genossen und eine tolle Zeit verbracht. Auch unser Hund war willkommen und hat sich wohl gefühlt :) Es war für mich ein Herzenswunsch, mal in einem Glasiglu zu übernachten und mit einer so großartigen Gastgeberin war es gleich noch schöner. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Vielen Dank und vielleicht dürfen wir ja eines Tages wieder ihre Gäste sein <3

Kohde vastasi kuvausta ja ylitti odotukset. Mökki oli vanha, mutta siisti ja selkeästi hyvin ylläpidetty. Kuivakäymälä oli lämmitetty ja hajuton. Saunassa oli hyvät löylyt, ja tuvan puolella kaikki tarvittava. Kiilopään ja Saariselän latuverkostot kulkevat läheltä. Erittäin hyvä kokemus!

We had a wonderful stay in this peaceful cosy cabin. Very special to have our morning coffee in one their beautiful cups overlooking the snowy white forest from the kitchen table . One morning we even saw a white snow rabbit running past. We enjoyed the restaurant recommendations and walking there from the cabin. The kids loved the sleighs to play around the cabin in the snow. Looking forward to seeing it in summer!

Nous avons pris conscience de la simplicité de la vie ici et que tout tourne autour du feu et de l'eau. Malgré notre non expérience du feu nous avons réussi à nous organiser même par -20 degrés. This is a wonderful option for a family or group of friends (specially if you have kids). Right at the center, walking distance to all the places you might need. Very well communicated with local buses (holiday club bus stop within a few steps). It’s clean, comfortable, big enough for 8 people, there are sleighs for the kids we could borrow, nice accommodating decoration, beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend it. We loved our stay here and Jere was always responsive and helpful. No issues whatsoever!

Takker for lånet av denne nydelige hytta i vidunderlige omgivelser, med alt tilrettelagt for å kunne nyte hyttelivet og naturen. Her finner man ro og fred. Lett å kommunisere med hytteeier og hyggelig vertskap. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit med familien vår på to voksne og to barn på 1 og 4 år.

Perfect location. Privat and cosy, still not far by car if in need for grocery. Sorrounding area is great for hiking in areas with trees or by the banks of Enare lake, on feet or by cross country skiing.
