Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Utrecht

This was a perfect place to stay for our three weeks in Utrecht. Jochem’s place is bright and spacious, a lovely place to be and right in the heart of the city. We loved being able to walk the few minutes to the canal, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Jochem himself is a fabulous host - so welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated how he went out of his way to make our time there comfortable.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich top – sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Auch der Kontakt zur Vermieterin Lotte war super freundlich und unkompliziert. Sie stand immer schnell mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass sie mir im Vorfeld sehr detaillierte Informationen zur Parksituation gegeben hat. Dennoch war das Parken vor Ort leider etwas umständlich, was für mich zu einem kleinen Punktabzug geführt hat. Insgesamt aber eine klare Empfehlung – ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Très bon séjour chez Monika, même si le logement était hors de la ville (même si accessible en vélo) et cher pour 2 personnes. Sinon rien à redire, c'était parfait !

Wir waren leider nur 5 Tage in der Unterkunft, aber es war wirklich sehr schön. Direkt vor der Tür grunzen zwei Schweine zufrieden vor sich hin und man ist wirklich direkt am Waldrand. Alles sehr idyllisch. Man benötigt unbedingt ein Auto zum hinkommen. In ca. 10 Minuten Entfernung mit dem Auto, gab es auch einen Supermarkt. In der Küche war alles da, was man benötigt. Die Sauna war auch echt toll und in den Betten haben wir himmlisch geschlafen. Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert.

We stayed in this lovely apartment as a couple and absolutely loved it. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed having breakfast in the charming inner courtyard. The apartment has everything you need, and the surroundings are beautiful — well-kept, with flowers, canals, and ducks creating a peaceful atmosphere. Public transport is within easy walking distance. A wonderful place — we highly recommend it.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in Ireens Unterkunft und hatten eine super Zeit. Irren war sehr aufmerksam und total nett. Unser Kind liebte besonders die Tiere auf dem Gelände sowie das extra bereitgestellte Spielzeug. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, man kann schöne Spaziergänge machen, z.B. auch zum Kasteel de haar oder einem Bauernhof für Kinder.

I love this place! Great host, amazing location, all the amenities and meticulous details. But first, Utrecht itself is beautiful, a lovely place to stay and well worth a visit – and this home is close enough to the train station and city that it’s very easy to get around, however, it’s far enough away that there wasn’t any street or party noise. Back to the home – you are genuinely staying in someone’s home, just how Airbnb was meant to be! It was so well organised, personal items were packed away so we had plenty of space and everything just worked and we felt right at home, because we were. Everything was perfect and we especially loved Sophie, the other host (cat). She was adorable and friendly and we have no doubt she would have fixed any issues if we had any. Thanks for a great stay! We highly recommend it and would stay here again!

The most perfect little house in Maarssen! Located about 20 minutes via bus/train from Utrecht and 30 minutes from Amsterdam, this gorgeous abode was a piece of heaven after a day of exploring! Upon arrival I was greeted by a few friendly chickens wandering the property and Ewoud, who made me feel right at home with not only great recommendations for Maarssen but helpful incite for bus information/apps and bike rentals. The house itself is so picture perfect cute! Comfy beds, relaxing bathtub, washer/dryer and a lovely outdoor space fitted with patio furniture. Keep in mind the stairs inside are rather steep and spiraling - but I found that it only added to its charm and felt like the bougie treehouse of my childhood dreams (lol). Got a chance to chat with Catelijne and Ewoud a bit on the eve of my departure and they are such wonderful hosts - would 100% recommend and would love to return!

It's one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in. Mirjam was very sweet and you could tell that it's her passion to make her guests feel welcomed. She went above and beyond our expectations and we would definitely stay here again. Also I cannot not mention the excellent breakfast. It was very filling and thought out. I can't see how you can rate this place anything other that 10/10.

Diederik‘s flat was fantastic for our trip to Utretch. A very quiet neighborhood with lovely old homes and surroundings. Exactly what we needed for our first trip with our little one. The apt is spacious and has all you need. Only downside is the stairs between floors are a bit more tight/narrow/steep than they appear in the photos. So be careful if you have a little one. Otherwise we loved our stay at his place. Its a great getaway.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit einem bezaubernden Garten. Jonathan empfing uns herzlich beim check-in und war während des gesamten Aufenthaltes ein fürsorglicher Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, verfügt über alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht und strahlt eine herrliche Ruhe und Behaglichkeit aus. Das Bett ist super gemütlich und bietet einen sehr schönen Blick auf den kleinen Garten - so macht das Aufwachen Freude. Direkt neben der Unterkunft befindet sich ein kleines Café und auch ein Bäcker - also ist alles da für einen guten Start in den Tag. Die Umgebung der Unterkunft ist ebenfalls sehr hübsch und entspannt und lädt zum Schlendern ein. Die Stadt lässt sich von der Unterkunft sehr schön zu Fuß erkunden. Ich kann die Unterkunft wärmstens jedem empfehlen und würde sie wieder buchen, wenn ich mal wieder im hübschen Utrecht wäre. Vielen Dank an Dich, lieber Jonathan, und auch an Deine Tochter!

We loved our stay in Utrecht. A lively vibrant town - easy to get around. Rob was a very friendly and helpful host - always quick to respond to questions and provide local info. The apartment has a relaxed feel and the shower has great pressure and soft water! Hope to get back to Utrecht one day and would definitely stay at Rob's again (if available). Best wishes, Christine

We had a wonderful stay. A small but perfect place to be, close to lots of great places and things to see and do. My little girl enjoyed feeding the ducks in the morning on the canal! I loved that there was a generous supply of breakfast items, tea, coffee, even milk. It made us feel welcome straight away. We would definitely recommend staying here and would come again.

Die Wohnung ist hell, gut ausgestattet und toll gelegen. Die gesamte Altstadt kann zu Fuß erkundet werden. Das Wasser wird heiß, die Betten sind bequem, dasWLAN ist stabil, es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und kümmern sich. Fragen werden schnell beantwortet. Einfach eine prima Unterkunft.

I had a wonderful 7 days at Nanda’s apartment. It was very comfortable, lots of light, quiet, and easy to access the city by bike (primary for me), bus and foot. Nanda was very responsive and kind. If you are new to the Netherlands, know that the train outside of the apartment comes once an hour (it goes to a fantastic railway museum that you can walk to) and is whisper quiet, so if you wonder if it’s loud to be near train tracks, it isn’t at all as the trains are electric. The morning and evening light is plentiful and I just had a very lovely stay. The kitchen also is very functional and I did most of my meals in the apartment. Overall really great stay.

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

Jessica and her partner were very proactive and we were greeted the minute we parked the car. They live right next door. The apartment was immaculate and the views are stunning. Also good recommendations for nearby restaurants. Thanks for the hospitality.

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

Wonderful space! Beautiful interior, very well equipped for everything you might need over a long weekend stay. Marina was lovely, very helpful and communicative. The bed was extremely comfortable, location excellent, every part of the space is well thought out and would highly recommend it to anyone!

The apartment is in a great, vibrant neighborhood only minutes from the downtown. It is spacious with plenty of light. Rein is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very walkable neighborhood, close to restaurants, attractions and public transportation. Apartment was right on the canal and had a beautiful view out the front window. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfekt gelegene Wohnung von der man abends einen traumhaften Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Die Beachbars liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Zentrum sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Ein Pluspunkt ist der zur Wohnung gehörende und auf dem Grundstück liegende Parkplatz. Wir können das stilvoll eingerichtete Beachhouse auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

This apartment was wonderful! Plenty of space, super clean, and really welcoming – perfect for a weekend break. Sabine was a fantastic host – so friendly, always quick to help and hospitality made our trip even better. The apartment was in the heart of Leiden with great recommendations from them which was a real bonus. Thank you so much!
