Family-friendly vacation rentals in Utrecht

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Riet and her husband such lovely people and what a nice home and yard. So well equipped with everything including fresh coffee. Really enjoyed the Foosball game. Nice bikes available at a reasonable price €10 per day.

We loved our stay right in the heart of Amsterdam. There is no better place from which one can explore the city, right near the Anne Frank house. The apartment was very clean, and the hosts were very friendly and very responsive. The weather was lovely, and the temperature in the unit was great. We like a cooler room in which to sleep than most, but that was not possible. The bed upstairs is comfortable, but not as nice as real bed with a good mattress. No oven or stove, but that was not a problem at all for us. The kitchen was great for the breakfasts that we ate there.

It was a great experience on the houseboat! The houseboat is equipped with everything you need and Jeanette is a great hostess. In the immediate vicinity are some bars and restaurants. The Cuban houses and the market hall are within walking distance. Also the metro and tram are not far away. We would rent the houseboat again anytime! Thanks Jeanette, for the great experience! :)

I can honestly say that this has been the loveliest stay I had in an Airbnb. The place feels like home right away. Sometimes you’ll be welcomed by two lovely very friendly and playful cats when get to the reception. The place is clean, and looks as good as the photos and even better. The best was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything you needed. There’s a wide collection of teas that I really enjoyed as well. Yes there’s no kitchen but I don’t think it’s really needed. The location of the apartment is so perfect. It’s near everything you’d need. There are many nice shops, cafes, bars and restaurants very close by. I’d really consider coming back to Everts place next time I come to Amsterdam.

This place is amazing. It is one of the coolest places I have ever stayed. It is so cozy, and in a fantastic location, and has everything you need. Karina is an excellent host, who is very generous and helpful. I could not recommend this place more. 10/10, would stay again!!!

We had an amazing stay in Amsterdam. Wonderful hosts that thought of everything. Large cocktail ice cubes, filtered water machine, chilled beverages in the frig, instant hot water faucet specifically for hot tea at the kitchen sink, great packet of information about the area, umbrella if needed and more. The flat was extremely clean, well decorated and in a great location to immerse yourself in Amsterdam. I would recommend this flat and would definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This apartment was wonderful! Plenty of space, super clean, and really welcoming – perfect for a weekend break. Sabine was a fantastic host – so friendly, always quick to help and hospitality made our trip even better. I’m emotional about leaving this absolute treasure of a rental- wish we could stay forever. We booked Darley’s on the recommendation of well-traveled local friends who literally *moved* to Hilversum after staying here and told us it was the best Airbnb of all time. (These friends also know that I’m finicky about vacation rentals and generally prefer hotels.) I’m SO glad we listened to them. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, well-appointed, lavish, thoughtfully stocked, gorgeously furnished, comfortable Airbnb ever, and now I’m probably ruined for all others. It could have been half as incredible for twice the price - we’d still be delighted. I’ve never felt more at home while traveling. We had all the privacy, comfort, provisions, fresh flowers and fruit, random fun perks, great water pressure, immaculate cleanliness, inspiring corners, luxurious linens, and other copious supplies we didn’t know we needed. Thank you, Marielise, for the Airbnb experience of a lifetime. WOW.

Amazing stay! Absolutely perfect place to get away and only a short bicycle ride into town. Saskia and Tijmen were amazing hosts and extremely helpful with everything we needed. Absolutely would recommend. Thanks again!

By far the most beautiful place we have stayed during our travels! We can’t recommend enough and it was worth every penny.

Great location, close to the nature of the Leersumse Veld and Kaapse forests. Nice towns nearby. Amerongen and surroundings are highly recommended. The house has a beautiful, spacious garden with a clear view. Large and cozy living room, with all the comforts. The third bedroom is a bit on the small side if you were with 6 adults. But for us it wasn't a problem.

The flat is in a lovely 17th century house on the canal. It is a 15 minute walk from the station which is very convenient if you’re travelling around to other places as we did. Marjan is very nice and communicative.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at José's. She was flexible and very welcoming. The accommodation is very nice, very bright. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and hearty. And finally, the setting is exceptional: Vianen is a great place. I highly recommend that you visit Vianen via José!

We had a wonderful stay in Graveland. Such peaceful surroundings and locator areas for walking. We all enjoyed rowing the boat as well. The apartment is decorated beautifully, we enjoyed the decor and artwork!

Our second time at Sebastian’s wonderful Airbnb. This location is perfect as it’s quiet and yet very near the busier sections of town. Sebastian is a terrific host and everything is as described. He is very friendly and makes sure all is well:-) You will not find a better property !

If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. Great position! Great starting point for exploring Amsterdam. The apartment was cozy and bright, nice to have a terrace to chill and get some air. Martin was a great host, very welcoming and helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed. Even got us some welcome drinks and cookies!

The space is amazing with natural sunlight coming into the living room area. It is definitely big enough for 2 or 3 people. The kitchen has all the basics that are necessary for basic meals.

Very nice studio in a nice street, close to the city center. Small, but nice. We were 3 people, but that was fine. Hugo and Heleen are super hospitable and kind. We had a very nice stay.

What a wonderful location. It was spacious, clean, cozily furnished and very nice the different apartments if you are with a larger group. Toby received us very kindly, a very nice and friendly hostess

Magdalena welcomed us in a very friendly way and lovingly took care of us. Although we did not book breakfast, she provided us with bread and other treats. The apartment matches the description, the location is beautiful. We will be happy to come back!
