The Pinyon House at Capitol Reef (new HOT TUB!)

SkyeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Pinyon house was wonderful. We enjoyed the quiet location of the house paired with the local amenities each day after hiking at Capitol Reef. We loved the skylights and the ability to stargaze each evening. We’d love to come back and relax at Katherine’s place anytime!

Heritage Cabin

KatieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I wish I could give TEN stars. This place is simply magical. I want to come back with my children so they can experience such a unique place to stay. Tiffany was so responsive and helpful and kind and generous and . . . I am quite certain everyone needs to experience staying in this cabin at least once in their life. I felt like I was staying in a place from the 1800's yet with modern conveniences. A perfect get away when you are wanting to step away.

Danke!!‘

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely wonderful stay! I was caught in some bad weather camping near a wash so I needed a place to take shelter and the staff was very accommodating to let me check in early. The lady I spoke to on the phone was an angel and the place was perfect for me! Felt like a retreat and it was a very clean, quiet place to relax after hiking in Arches. If I'm ever back around I would definitely stay here again :)

THE VAULT at Copper Rock! Private Heated Pool/Spa

RobertRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful home. It was set up very nice with the main bedroom separated from the kids/guest bedrooms which allowed for more privacy. The expansive windows let you take in the view, along with the sliding patio doors which gives it an indoor/outdoor feel. The pool/patio is the heart of the home, which is perfect for family. The huge living room and kitchen make it easy to cook and provide a relaxing space for a large family. Check in was clearly stated and super easy. We arrived late at night and everything was perfectly prepared. We had an issue with the water heater and someone was there within an hour of us messaging the host to fix it. It was fixed within another hour and worked the rest of the trip. The rental team is very responsive and easy to understand. Clean up is very straightforward. We stay at rentals often, so the easy list was refreshing. Overall, a top tier stay. Our family had a very enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The Juniper House at Capitol Reef (new HOT TUB!)

LucyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was an amazing Airbnb to stay in for our visit to Capitol Reef NP. It is one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we have ever stayed in with the most amazing view from the back porch. We enjoyed the hot tub, and also watching the stars at night from the porch. The kitchen was also well stocked and the entire place was very cozy and well decorated. We would be so happy to have the chance to stay here again!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Salt Lake City, don’t look anywhere else! This is absolutely one of the best AirBnb rentals we have stayed in. We loved how clean it was, had EVERYTHING we would ever need, and it was so peaceful and relaxing sitting outside in the evening. We loved the neighborhood. The bed was so comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Artful Southwest Retreat / National Parks

MarkRating, 5 starstoday
Brian’s place is a real gem! 5 stars all the way! The home is absolutely stunning! All rooms were welcoming with ideal flow from one room to the next. Outdoor spaces also very welcoming and we enjoyed sitting outside in this very private desert oasis. All furniture was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed to cook a full meal. Access to the property was seamless. Plenty of parking space. To top things off, communication with Brian was perfect. He made sure we were having a great experience and was always on standby. I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to explore southern Utah in style!

Spacious 1 bedroom mountainside retreat.

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Imagine walking into a pristine, fresh smelling home where every single detail has been expertly curated to create the most welcoming and peaceful experience. Now add to that a super comfortable bed, well-stocked amenities and well-designed spaces for relaxing, playing, and working. That’s this place. I’ve stayed in literally dozens of Airbnbs and something about this one stood out in all the best ways. Jennifer literally thought of EVERYTHING from bedside charging pads, to labels and instructions on all the need-to-know items, to even leaving a welcome gift and handwritten note. I loved watching the sunset from the hot tub after a long day at the office, reliving my youth playing PAC Man and getting the best, restorative sleep in the comfortable bed. Grateful for the wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

Affordable Pineview Reservoir 2 Bedroom Suite

LindsayRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a lovely visit to Andrew and Nancy's retreat at Pineview Reservoir. The space was nice and clean with everything we needed including a large kitchen where we could prepare our own food without stepping on each other's toes. This location is gorgeous with beautiful views of the Reservoir right at the door. It's very serene and peaceful with the local birds signing and praising the day. Location is perfect for access to all actives one could want to do in Huntsville, Eden and Liberty. Highly recommended!

Sarah's barn was amazing! Its a perfect loft room with lots of activities for the whole family. The farm and the farm animals were amazing and they all come running up to the fence when you arrive. We have a 12 year old girl and 10 year old boy and we paid extra to bottle feed and groom/interact with the animals and it was amazing!! Sarah is very knowledgeable and makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable being with the animals. We will definately be back to stay here again for longer!

Cozy Cabin! Dog Friendly with Game Room & Parking.

MarenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely perfect for our family! We had an incredible stay—this cabin was the perfect home base for our Flaming Gorge adventures. The teens loved the game room, and there was tons of outdoor space to explore and stretch out. Pro tip: read the guest book inside—you’ll see what we mean! Having two fridges was a game-changer for a big group like ours. Heads up—bring groceries with you! You can walk to a small market nearby, but prices are steep, and the nearby resorts are also pricey for food. Thankfully, we had the option to grill and enjoy the fire pit, which saved us. The hot water and pressure could’ve been a touch stronger, but honestly? Still a million times better than camping. Thank you for such a thoughtful, cozy, and welcoming space. We appreciated every minute!

The most unique Air BnB ever. Morning coffee sitting by the water listening to and watching the birds was very special. Extremely comfortable bed. Kitchenette was small but so well appointed it felt big. Very close to the park entrance. Excellent quality restaurants with the nicest people and great prices. Recommend reservations during tourist season at dinner places. 10/10 would stay again! Thank you Cindy for sharing your homestead. CLF Hermosa Beach, CA

Great home & friendly host. Meredith answered all my questions in a timely manner. Location of the home is perfect as a base location. We went to Zion, Horseshoe Bend, Toadstool, Antelope Canyon, Moqui Cave, & the Sand Caves all while staying three nights at this home. We ate at Rocking V Cafe in Kanab, great food. The town of Kanab is so cute & great place to walk around. So glad we found this home.

Your guide to Utah

All About Utah

With more than 20 million acres of public lands and 14 national parks — Utah is where the rest of the country comes to stretch its legs. The Western state boasts a who’s who of natural features, from the craggy mountain peaks and sparkling salt flats in the north to the vast red rock canyons and sandstone deserts to the south. Ashley National Forest spreads over a million acres in the east, while in the middle of the state Fishlake National Forest is home to one of the largest organisms on earth, Trembling Giant, a stand of 47,000 aspen trees that share a single root system.

Away from the state’s wealth of national parks, which draw hikers, rock climbers, and skiers in winter, the capital city of Salt Lake City combines the fragrant roses of Red Butte Garden with the Utah Museum of Fine Arts and the famous melodies of the Tabernacle Choir, all against the backdrop of the snow-capped Wasatch Mountains. Neighboring Park City attracts Hollywood’s biggest stars to its independent film festival each year, while motoring enthusiasts from all over the world head to Bonneville Salt Flats near the Nevada border to watch speed records and even join in races.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Utah

Utah sports a diverse array of climates and landscapes. The preferred time of year to visit will vary drastically depending on what region you visit and what activities you plan to participate in. During the summer, expect dry conditions with climates that range from temperate in the mountain regions to blisteringly hot in the Moab area, with its windswept red rock formations and desert canyonlands. May through September can be a perfect time to try and find cabins for rent in Utah, as the summers in the mountains tend to offer the broadest range of recreational activities. The shoulder seasons see milder temperatures and spattering of rain in most regions of the state. During the winter, you will generally find snow and a host of exciting events like the famous annual film festival in Park City.

Top things to do in Utah

Zion National Park

Zion National Park is one of the most recognizable geological sites in all of North America. Historically the area’s dramatic limestone bluffs and slot canyons served as a throughway for Native Americans and pioneers in their travels west. Today, people come to the park to hike the Narrows — a deep gorge where the water can reach waist height — climb the red sandstone cliffs, and spot rock squirrels and bald eagles soaring overhead.

Scenic Byway 12

Take in the scenery along this historic route that connects Bryce Canyon and the Capitol Reef National Park by way of a roughly 120-mile picturesque drive through Utah’s dramatic landscapes. Mountain roads wind through pine forests and aspen groves before descending into canyonlands and the region’s iconic red rock formations.

Dinosaur National Monument

Home to one of the largest collections of prehistoric fossils in the world, Dinosaur National Monument offers an unrivaled insight into 150 million years of history. Check out the Wall of Bones, with more than 1,500 fossils embedded in the face of the rock. Or head into the museum, where you can take in the impressive collection of fully reconstructed diplodocus skeletons, bones from ancient crocodiles, footprints, and cultural artifacts found in the area.
