Our stay at Lisha's was absolutely wonderful. The views were beautiful and the quietness was so peaceful. The cabin was one of the cleanest Airbnb's we have ever stayed at. It was cozy, inviting and had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely stay at Lisha's cabin next time we are in Kanab!

Shady Acres, River front cabin on 14 acres

NatashaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Such a beautiful, cozy cabin. The aesthetics are magic. We went on a walk and found a beautiful trail up the mountain. The fire stove was so fun! All of the cozy seating was perfect for late night conversations, games, and meals for all of the thirteen adults that stayed at the cabin. Our only recommendations would be: bring better pillows, a can opener, and more dishes/utensils. Such a memorable, lovely weekend.

East Zion-Glendale Ranch Cabins #4

I loved staying with friends in this cabin! The rocking chair on the front porch was a nice touch and allowed for relaxed morning coffees in a jaw-dropping setting. Beds were comfortable and well-appointed with lots of pillows and cozy quilts. Also really appreciated the clean, modern bathroom after long days of hiking.

Cozy and Rustic Mountain Cabin in Duck Creek

RichardRating, 5 stars5 months ago
we spent a week using this as our home base while checking out Zion, Grand Staircase, and Bryce Canyon and couldn’t have been happier with coming home to relax after those long days. we had two minor snow storms, each about 2-4 inches total, which added to the joy that of the stay (hard to top some mountain snow). so quiet and peaceful, would definitely stay again! general heads up for the area; it was about 10-20 degrees colder than surrounding areas due to its location/altitude, so if you’re traveling in the winter be prepared. the cabin kept heat well so we were never cold indoors, but make sure you have the right car and clothes.

Rolando was a great host! He was very responsive and his place was just as expected! I’m always apprehensive about a new place but Rolando’s place was in a great, newer, safe neighborhood, the house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. He provides the necessities and a beautiful space! We would definitely return in the future and suggest his place to friends going to the area!

Beautiful Remodeled Home by Ski Resorts & Shopping

KevinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The rental was three levels giving everyone a place to spread out. Loved the mud room and garage with grill and ping pong table. Three full bathrooms for 11 people aged 68 to 5 years old was great! Beds were comfortable along with the sheets and pillows. There was a very nice backyard for the kids to play. Great location, close to everything we have grown to love through the years. We were very happy it was available to us.

We loved our stay at Brendon’s place. It accommodated our large family perfectly. He was very on top of communication, the home was very comfortable, there was plenty of indoor and outdoor entertainment, and the location was close to everything we wanted/needed. There is only space for 8 parking spots and that expectation is pretty strict. Thankfully, we didn’t need more than that, but just something to be aware of. We’d totally stay here again!

Canyon Cottage: a cozy retreat (newly remodeled)

StephanieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Suzanne's place was cleaner than most no pet houses! The house was even cuter than pictured and smelled new and clean. Beds were comfortable. Suzanne was very responsive and accommodating. Neighborhood was peaceful. We stayed with our dog and he loved the backyard. I would 100 percent stay here again. This is a great choice if you are traveling with pets and even if you aren't!

Cozy Lazy Bear Cottage

KrynaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Great location, close to the slopes. The cottage has a nice large snow play area on the side for the kids to hang out. There was 5 of us 2 adults and 3 kids, the place is a bit small for party of 5 but we didn’t mind since we were mostly on the slopes so it worked out. The location is really close to giant steps and Navajo express, the linens were clean and smelled fresh which I really appreciate. The bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed. Kimberly was amazing on communicating. Easy check in and out. We will definitely stay here again.

Pet Friendly Modern - Ski-In - Pool, Hot tub, Gym

ChelseeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Canyons Village is lovely. Parking was super duper easy. We loved the heated, outdoor pool and hot tub. The game room was fun too. The condo was very clean and nice. There was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom which was a bit off putting. And the curtains were not light-darkening which was not conducive to sleeping in later. We loved the robe and nice towels (& towel warmer.) We also loved the dedication to being eco friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

#1 Dog Friendly, Walking distance to Hiking Trails

SueRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We booked Christy’s place the day of arrival, arriving at about 9pm. We weren’t sure where we were going to want to stop on our trip to Sedona, but we were very happy with our choice to stay here There was a Jeep Safari going on in Moab so availability was limited. The place was super clean. It was quiet. I especially liked the bathroom. It was spacious and decorated super cute. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. While small, it was perfect for 2 people and a dog for a short stay.

Your guide to Utah

All About Utah

With more than 20 million acres of public lands and 14 national parks — Utah is where the rest of the country comes to stretch its legs. The Western state boasts a who’s who of natural features, from the craggy mountain peaks and sparkling salt flats in the north to the vast red rock canyons and sandstone deserts to the south. Ashley National Forest spreads over a million acres in the east, while in the middle of the state Fishlake National Forest is home to one of the largest organisms on earth, Trembling Giant, a stand of 47,000 aspen trees that share a single root system.

Away from the state’s wealth of national parks, which draw hikers, rock climbers, and skiers in winter, the capital city of Salt Lake City combines the fragrant roses of Red Butte Garden with the Utah Museum of Fine Arts and the famous melodies of the Tabernacle Choir, all against the backdrop of the snow-capped Wasatch Mountains. Neighboring Park City attracts Hollywood’s biggest stars to its independent film festival each year, while motoring enthusiasts from all over the world head to Bonneville Salt Flats near the Nevada border to watch speed records and even join in races.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Utah

Utah sports a diverse array of climates and landscapes. The preferred time of year to visit will vary drastically depending on what region you visit and what activities you plan to participate in. During the summer, expect dry conditions with climates that range from temperate in the mountain regions to blisteringly hot in the Moab area, with its windswept red rock formations and desert canyonlands. May through September can be a perfect time to try and find cabins for rent in Utah, as the summers in the mountains tend to offer the broadest range of recreational activities. The shoulder seasons see milder temperatures and spattering of rain in most regions of the state. During the winter, you will generally find snow and a host of exciting events like the famous annual film festival in Park City.

Top things to do in Utah

Zion National Park

Zion National Park is one of the most recognizable geological sites in all of North America. Historically the area’s dramatic limestone bluffs and slot canyons served as a throughway for Native Americans and pioneers in their travels west. Today, people come to the park to hike the Narrows — a deep gorge where the water can reach waist height — climb the red sandstone cliffs, and spot rock squirrels and bald eagles soaring overhead.

Scenic Byway 12

Take in the scenery along this historic route that connects Bryce Canyon and the Capitol Reef National Park by way of a roughly 120-mile picturesque drive through Utah’s dramatic landscapes. Mountain roads wind through pine forests and aspen groves before descending into canyonlands and the region’s iconic red rock formations.

Dinosaur National Monument

Home to one of the largest collections of prehistoric fossils in the world, Dinosaur National Monument offers an unrivaled insight into 150 million years of history. Check out the Wall of Bones, with more than 1,500 fossils embedded in the face of the rock. Or head into the museum, where you can take in the impressive collection of fully reconstructed diplodocus skeletons, bones from ancient crocodiles, footprints, and cultural artifacts found in the area.
