House vacation rentals in Uptown/Carrollton, New Orleans

Stayed for a weekend for a conference with a group of friends. The house was beautiful and well decorated. David was excellent with communication and proactive. He made sure everything was taken care of. Great location. Walkable to magazine street with great shops and restaurants (highly recommended Molly’s rise and shine for breakfast). Would absolutely stay here every time coming to New Orleans!

This place is a gem in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood, with easy access to top restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The place itself is charming and nicely furnished with very comfortable mattresses, a well-equipped kitchen, and a most relaxing backyard where we spent a lot of time in and by the pool. Finally, Edward and David were most helpful and responsive as hosts and we'd love to visit again, thanks!

My family stayed here for a weekend-long celebration of my birthday, and it was perfect for 10 adults - large well-provisioned kitchen, ample bathrooms, and large comfortable bedrooms. It's worth noting though that 3 of the bedrooms are attached railroad style, which was fine for us. The pool area was also beautiful and chill to relax after a few long days of being out and about. Highly recommend a stay here!

If you are ok with something close to everything, but not in the middle of anything, then rent this place. It is lovely, Deborah was lovely. It was comfortable, it was easy, it was great place to spend the weekend. To be clear we were not there to party and did not want to be in middle of the French quarter. So if you are, then maybe this is not the right place for you. But we were never more than 10-15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go, and for us it was perfect.

Amazing stay - great house, good amenities, and walkable to so many great places.

Sam's listing was the perfect choice for our group's weekend stay. We felt so at home in the space, both indoors and out, and having a full bathroom in nearly every bedroom made getting ready a breeze for a house full of women. The backyard felt like its own private oasis, and we took full advantage of the pool and deck. The spacious living and dining area was just what we needed for the catering services we booked, and I can't emphasize enough how comfortable we all felt gathering together each day.

absolutely loved Jason's place! It was extremely comfortable, the location was close to the street car which is the best way to get around the city. We felt safe in the neighborhood, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. The house was cozy and comfortable. Jason was responsive and helpful during our stay and the guidebook gave some wonderful recommendations. The ruby slipper is a must! If we ever return to New Orleans I will be booking this place without hesitation.

We had a great stay at Rodney’s place, felt like home. Would recommend to any friend and will be back next time I plan a trip to Nola!

Karen's place was such a lovely home-base on our trip. Great location +peaceful street with lots of trees and flowers and small animals. Wonderful porch for relaxing and social time. Comfy dwelling with character and Karen is a wonderful resource and human to connect with. Very warm and welcoming〰️

This is a great cottage to stay. The residential area is safe and quiet; and close to shopping and restaurants on Magazine st and St. Charles. Luv uptown. Best area of New Orleans yet close enough to to the CBD and the Quarter... Julia is a great host.. considers all needs!

We had an amazing stay at Jenny’s place. It’s a lovely, spacious 3 bedroom house in a great location, just blocks away from grocery store, coffee shops, and bars in a charming neighborhood. Totally set up to be comfortable and exactly like pictures (with good climate control!) The landscaped back garden is such a treat. Would love to stay here again next time I’m in New Orleans.

The house was exactly as described. The beds were extremely comfortable and cozy. Anthony was very accommodating and let us check in a few hours early. Great location to restaurants and the trolley.

Kimberly’s place was perfect for us. Every time I walked in the door I felt peaceful. Perfect amount of decorating, understated furniture with New Orleans flair. The home is immaculate!! Not a speck of dust anywhere. The floors are original and wonderful to walk on. The high ceilings and chandeliers made the rooms feel special and even more spacious. Perfect blend of original, restored and updated. Super comfortable beds. Real plants in every room!—all the right touches to make me feel at home. Highly recommend!!

I don't often stay in Airbnbs, but this home in the Garden District of New Orleans has absolutely raised the bar. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the host had thoughtfully curated every aspect of the experience. The home was not only spotless and beautifully appointed, but it included every extra I could have possibly needed—and then some. Dre has clearly thought of everything. There was a well-organized binder packed with local recommendations, complimentary water and snacks , and a level of hospitality that rivaled the best hotels. The host was warm, incredibly responsive, and clearly committed to making guests feel welcome and at ease. It’s rare to find a place that blends the comforts of home with the polish of a boutique stay, but this one absolutely nailed it. A true standout. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The house was in a great, quiet location near Tulane, and close to plenty of restaurants on Freret. It was awesome that the hosts allowed pets, and we were happy with the small fenced-in outdoor space for quick doggie potty breaks. Parking on the street right outside the house was easy with plenty of room for our SUV. While we did not do any cooking, the home has a full kitchen with everything you need. We would definitely like to come back at the start of the fall semester.

Fantastic little townhome in the Garden District. Less than 5 minute walk to a nearby bakery/coffee shop and so many other restaurants. Plenty of street parking and easy to get to the trolley

Ian was an incredible host—super communicative and accommodating from the start. He even texted a few hours before our arrival to ask what temperature we’d like the thermostat set to, which was such a thoughtful touch. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully furnished, and just a block and a half from Magazine Street, which made exploring the area super easy. The kitchen was spotless and really well stocked, and the linens felt like pure luxury. The beds and pillows were insanely comfortable—we slept like rocks. Honestly, I kind of want to keep this gem to myself, but I have to say: I highly recommend both the accommodations and Ian as a host!

It was wonderful staying at this air bnb. There is a shared porch and backyard with the other tenants in the other unit. They were all super nice and had great conversations when we saw them!

Great place to stay. Very close to the Freret street restaraunts near Tulane University. House is in excellent shape. Beautiful wood flooors. Beds are totally comfy. AC works perfectly. Spacious living room and dining room. Everything is in great condition. Looks even better than the pictures. And then to top it off, the host Christopher might be the most helpful and responsive host on AirBNB. For example, two days before we arrived I couldn't find the house address either on the AirBNB website or in my AirBNB emails. I only use AirBNB a couple times per year so I don't really know how all the website details work. But when I couldn't find the address, I used AirBNB messaging and Christopher sent me the address within minutes of my message. Same with when I was trying to operate the LCD thermostat. Answered almost instantaneously. So Christopher is a really great AirBNB host.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in New Orleans, and we had a wonderful stay. We absolutely love the area — after our first day, we decided to explore locally and enjoyed all the fantastic bars and restaurants within walking distance. The neighborhood has such a vibrant and lively atmosphere, making it the perfect place to immerse ourselves in the NOLA experience. One thing to note is that, due to the popularity of the area and its many great dining options, parking near the AirBnB was challenging. We usually parked a few blocks away, which wasn't a big issue for us, but I thought it was worth mentioning for future guests. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the charm and excitement of New Orleans!

Great place with a friendly, accommodating host.

We were in NOLA for my son’s law school graduation. So, I wanted our trip to be comfortable and stress free. Patrick’s place fit the bill perfectly! It is in a great location near lots of shops and a Whole Foods. The unit itself was beautiful, very cozy and comfortable. It had everything that we needed. In addition, Patrick, the owner was very responsive and also very friendly. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely use Patrick’s place again.

This place is a great neighborhood spot, near Tulane. It was perfect got us. You get more room compared to other similarly priced options in the area. Only thing is if you are more than 2, using the living room space, just know there’s only 2 chairs at the dining table. They were really cool, too, about letting us leave our bags after check out, to collect after our day, before heading to the airport.

This place was even better than we expected. Very large and spacious inside. The beds and furniture are comfortable. The place is modern and well decorated. The bathrooms were so nice and clean, and have plenty of places to set all of your things. We felt safe in the neighborhood. Never had trouble finding a free parking spot for our large truck. There is a nice playground and big dog park less than a block away, and lots of folks are out and about with their kids and dogs. And at the next corner is a great coffeehouse. There is a local brewery called Port Orleans that you can walk to. They have great food there by Avo Taco. Also there is a very popular Snowball place just down the street. And so much to eat and drink on Magazine. And Tchop is full of more local breweries and fun places…Urban South, Abita, Tchop house, NOLA Distillery…. There’s a lot more to NOLA than the FQ! But here you are still pretty close to all the major stuff downtown too, without staying in a congested area.
