House vacation rentals in University District, Seattle

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Picture this: arrive in Seattle and arrive at your condo for 3 pm check in looking straight at the Public Market sign with signature clock (which fortunately I saw on the last day of my stay at 5:50 am when I thought I set my alarm for 5:30 am but it was set for pm!). Drop our family bags and head down to the Market to find inspiration for dinner tonight. Buy great produce and seafood, two kinds of cool pasta, and a humbow to tide me over, go back up to the condo in 20 steps, welcome a few friends and family who chat and laugh and drink while they help me make dinner. So fresh, so real, so perfect in this condo right by the Market that is decked out in all the things needed to cook a great dinner and enjoy time together while ogling the fabulous Seattle waterfront. And that was just day one. Our host Taylor was easily reachable by text anytime we had a question or issue, and so kind and warm. Even helped us idiots figure out that the living room couch was a bed for our 6’4” son

Absolutely a great place to stay and perfectly located to everything you would want to have and see. A parking spot is available, but it’s so easy to get to her place from the airport and we would highly recommend using the public transportation and forget the car. Enjoy Seattle on foot. No shortage of interesting things to see on foot. This was a wonderful place to stay with great amenities and safe and secured access to the building. We will be back and this will be our go to place to stay anytime we come to Seattle in the future. A shoutout to Judy for being a great host.

Peaceful, warm atmosphere with lots of space. Love the view out the living room window of the beautiful, green, forest-like backyard. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Lovely house with water views right within a quick drive of many Seattle area attractions. We had a great stay for a May wedding in the area. Allison has put a lot of thought into the house, with fun games, comfortable beds, and clear instructions for everything. Nearby Poulsbo is high on our list of recommendations.

The place was great location , didn't expect it to be close to the center but yes I chose the right location close to everything. As for the host she was kind, quick to respond, and the cleanliness was top-notch. again walking through the trees,forest kinda to the house was the best peaceful thing ever happened to me since the year began. I think i will just make this my second home every time I'm in town.

If you love cooking in a well stocked kitchen, if you love a shower with phenomenal water pressure, if you like to start or end your days in a clean beautifully kept sauna and wake up to sun drenched living and dining rooms, look no further. This lovely home was a retreat and great to return to at the end of our days sight seeing and traveling around Seattle and the Washington area. The hosts were responsive proactive and had wonderful suggestions on places to visit!

Colin and Robin were super gracious and lovely hosts! I had to spontaneously relocate for a couple of weeks locally in seattle, and they were extremely helpful from first comms to the end of the stay! It’s a rad neighborhood with a ton to do, their place gives you an opportunity to recharge and relax only a few blocks away from the action so you can get going back out into the city. Super close to bus lines, light rail, food, bars, parks, live music. Very reasonably priced and couldn’t recommend more highly!

This place is ultra cool, sleek and modern. And that rooftop is the perfect place to relax and have your morning coffee. Place was as clean and exactly as advertised. Sam was super responsive and was very accommodating when it came to adjusting our checkout time. We would definitely stay there again and give it an enthusiastic recommendation 👍🏾

Six stars. Darcy’s place is so beautiful. It even smells amazing. I spent a lot of time in the house and backyard, but the location is awesome too. I think montlake is one of the prettiest places in the world, and Darcy’s place is one minute from Interlaken Park and close to great coffee shops / bakeries. Darcy was helpful and responsive.

This is a comfortable little apartment impeccably maintained, that opens out to a backyard that has been beautifully landscaped. We really enjoyed the neighborhood. The hostess gave us clear instructions and was easy to communicate with. We highly recommend her and the apartment to anyone who wants a convenient place to stay in Seattle.

Our stay in Jennifer's suite was all that we were hoponh for. Very clean and well appointed . Communicating was easy and quick. Looking forward to staying here again.

We absolutely loved staying here! The greenery and serene water elements outside made it a relaxing haven and the place was well equipped with pretty much everything we needed (especially the kitchen). Public transit stops were a quick 3-7 minute walk away to get to other areas of Seattle as well. Tip: The bathroom has a wet room style layout, so we brought flip flops / shower sandals for added comfort!

Such a cool place, loved staying here! One of those places where I’d rather keep it my own secret so I can sang it whenever I’m in town :)

Everything was lovely, just as described. Unit was a little hard to find but Cassandra's directions helped immensely. Quiet neighborhood but close to 522 and I5. Unit was clean, nice kitchen, big TV in living room space, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Cassandra responded to all questions very quickly. Will definitely stay here again if it's available next time we visit our kid in Seattle.

Alan was excellent host, location was fantastic for our needs, found everything to be as expected based on description and photos. Well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area.

This is a spacious welcoming place to stay. The bed is very comfortable. A fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals when we didn’t eat out at one of the numerous restaurants within walking distance. We could walk to the grocery store and CVS, as well as restaurants offering many different types of cuisine. We enjoyed visiting the bookstore located below. Parking was easily available right in front for loading and unloading and we found a nice place to park less than a block away for the rest of the time. It was surprising how much of the outdoor noise was blocked once inside the home and with my Calm app making ocean sounds, we both slept soundly each night. If you can handle stairs and don’t mind being in a busy part of the city, this is a great place to stay. We will definitely stay there again if we come back to Seattle.

I stayed at Renee’s place with a group of four friends, and we loved how clean and spacious it was. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was well-equipped with plenty of utensils. Renee was a fantastic host—very proactive and always available. I highly recommend this place!

Loved this house! We will definitely stay here each time we visit Seattle. The location is wonderful, the house is spacious and clean, and the king sized bed is a luxury! The kitchen was very well stocked and the nearby restaurants were awesome. It was lovely to have the portable air conditioners for the bedrooms, as the weather was sunny and hot. A must stay if you are traveling to Seattle.

Bryan's place was lovely--it was quite, the front yard was super peaceful, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything that I needed, it is in a quite, safe, walkable, and lovely neighborhood. I was in Seattle for a conference in DW and commuting to DW was easy--a quick uber ride and a couple blocks away from a bus stop to DW. Bryan was friendly and very responsive. I would definitely recommend Bryan's place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and lovely place to stay in Seattle and whenever I visit Seattle, I would love to stay again!
