the apartment was just as described, with all the things we needed. It is a short distance from the bus and shop. The host is nice and replied quickly. It's a private residence, with all the comfort we find there

Johannes is very nice and always easily accessible. When I asked if I could look at his workshop, I quickly got a positive response. The place is also very nice. The only thing that bothered me was that the shower curtain at the bottom was true. Which meant that it didn't smell so pleasantly when showering. Otherwise I am very satisfied. I would be happy to go there.

I was very glad to have stayed at Carl's place. Excellent check-in instruction. Excellent communication. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The view was pleasant and the kitchen had all the utensils to prepare food every day. I was very glad that I was permitted to use the washing machine late at night to clean my sports clothes for the next day. The area is in a quiet neighborhood but there is a hospital helipad nearby that about thrice every 2 weeks gets used. The building is alongside a steep hill so some inclined walking is necessary to get to it from the main road/bus stop. There is no elevator so walking up at least 3 flights of stairs is mandatory. I actually welcomed this requirement for this is how my knees will stay supple. Overall highly recommended and Carl and his place are considered to be on my top 3. Will try to stay here again on my next trip to Bergen if the price is right.

I love staying at Tina and John’s studio when I travel to Bergen. It’s cosy and a very convenient location right next to the Bybanen. Shops etc. in walking distance. It’s always perfectly clean as well with lovely homely touches. I will continue to stay there on my visits!
