Lovely cottage, great for what we needed.

This is by far the best Airbnb my family has ever stayed in, and we have stayed in several across the UK and other countries. It exceeded all expectations. We felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. We had everything we needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Andrew and Maeve were always quick to respond and so friendly. We did not meet them, even though they were right next door, but we knew they were there if we needed anything. There were clear instructions for the heating, tv, shower etc. and useful information on local shops, walks, pubs and restaurants, which was very helpful. The house is in a very quiet lane in Tadcaster, just a few minutes walk to the town, Sainsbury and the bus station. Buses to York run every 20 minutes and cost £3 for the 30 minute journey. We found this very convenient. This was also the perfect location for the 10 minute drive to the wedding venue we were attending. I totally recommend this Airbnb if staying in this area. We loved it.

Our stay was excellent. Could not fault it in any way. The property was spotless and tastefully furnished with top quality utensils, crockery and bedding. Such a peaceful location. Will definitely return. Hayley is an excellent host - so friendly and approachable, and welcomed us on arrival and our departure. This is a beautiful part of the world. Thank you Hayley!
