And next to it, "El Callejón de los Borrachos", a typical area of century-old taverns in Jaén. From here, along Calle Maestra, to conquer the old town, passing by the church of San Juan, the Arab Baths that are the best preserved in Europe, and the Chapel of San Andrés, until reaching the church of La Magdalena. On the other hand, if you take Calle Campanas towards La Carrera (Calle Bernabé Soriano), you'll find a range of charming little squares (El Pósito, Dean Mazas, San Ildefonso, etc.) full of terraces and outdoor seating to enjoy the capital's typical tapas. For tapas I recommend: El Gorrión, La Manchega, La Barra, El 82 or El Alcocer in "El Callejón de los Borrachos".
