Not far from the house is the golden trail of the Bohemian Paradise. Sedmihorky is 25 minutes on foot, Hrubá Skála about an hour. You can ride your bike further, for example, to Kost Castle, Trosky, Branžeš, Malá Skála, etc. In Turnov itself, there is the Maškova zahrada swimming pool, a museum, a synagogue, many restaurants, confectioneries, and in the summer, cultural events take place in the city under the open sky.

The house is protected from the north by a rock massif called the Pantheon, where there is a chapel and the ruins of Vranov Castle. Everything can be seen directly from the garden.
