The house is located in an extremely nice place on Skaland with private sandy beach and the sea right outside. It is close to the convenience store. There is a short way to the path that goes up to the house mountain. Pila pub and Skagi (restaurant) are within walking distance, yet the house is shielded There are four sleeping places, a sleeping alcove (i.e. with a curtain, not door) with a double bed, a sleeping alcove with a bed for two children or one adult, and a bed in the loft room. By agreement, it is possible to use a kayak for two people.

Tromvik is a popular exit area for people in Tromsø and tourists. Tromvik is surrounded by great mountains and sought-after acres for skiers/hikes in the winter, anglers, mountaineers and hikers in the summer. From Tromsø airport it is a 45 min drive to Tromvik. Tromvik had 144 inhabitants in 2015. The main part of the business community in Tromvik is related to fish. There is a fishing farm in the village. There are no stores in Tromvik, but several stores are on the way from Tromsø and to Eidkjosen on Kvaløya.

Falling asleep to singing waves.

The one room flat/studio has its own entrance. Our home is situated close to the sea, peaceful and spacious, about 12 km outside the city of Tromsø, with little sound and light pollution, giving the aurora borealis optimal conditions to be enjoyed. We share with you according to the season: our bicycles, kajaks, a rowboat with some fishing equipment, snowshoes, as well as our sauna and tabletennis room. And we are happy to share information about mountaintrips and other places worth visiting.

You are most welcome to Jøvik Lodge Tennskjærveien 1241 9302 Rossfjordstraumen, in beautiful Senja municipality. The house has been renovated in recent years has two spacious apartments. Main apartment is rented. The photos show what has been renovated in terms of the kitchen, living room, bathroom and three bedrooms in total 6 beds plus one cot. Almost no background light from houses, street lights and cars. Top tours on skis. Hike in magnificent nature. Picking berries, mushrooms or fishing. Or just relax in quiet surroundings. The place is perfect for all this. Only approx. 1 hour from The Arctic Cathedral and 1 hour and 15 minutes from the airport.
