Vacation rentals with breakfast in Tromsø Municipality

What an authentic and welcoming stay I had at Roy’s! A warm and clean house, a confortable room, a delicious breakfast and most importantly the kindest host! On top of that, the surroundings are incredible. I highly recommend !!

We had a great time in Tromso, we love the house. The house is spacious and was comfortable for the 8 of us. There are 2 bathrooms but only one has a shower/bathtub, so it requires a bit of organization. The beds are very comfortable, we slept like babies. The is a great location, overlooking a fjord, and walking distance to a bus stop to go to Tromso (20 minutes bus ride). The supermarket is also walking distance, and open until 23:00 every day. The lighting system is a bit strange and needs practice to understand how it works 😉. Overall, the house is clean although for that price there is room for improvement.

Aptly named “The View,” this is a delightful place with spectacular panoramic view overlooking Tromso city center, across the water, including the Arctic Cathedral, and up onto Tromsdalen. I could have sat staring out the windows for hours. We walked (two of us ran) the surrounding snow palace. We enjoyed trolls, the top of Tromsdalen, nearby islands, local cuisine, and exploring the city center and trails. Through it all, our hosts were wonderful - patiently and expertly helping with all manner of questions. A terrific, memorable travel experience. Will definitely seek out The View again when our travels bring us back to Tromso.

Sissel’s a friendly, kind-hearted, helpful and generous host. She gave us a lot of support during our stay in Tromsø. She helped us to explore the city and with her help, we were able to witness the beautiful aurora. We also hiked in the mountains, that was amazing to walk on the snow path. Her house is sooooo clean and I like the decorations very much. She’s got a lovely cat called Lion which is also friendly and lovely. Please choose her house in Tromsø, you’ll be deeply moved by her nice house and never regret.

By renting the little cabin, Marianne and George open the door to their little paradise. In their place you will feel love, real nature and one of the most beautiful landscape ever, even the drive to and from Tromso is breathtaking. For people seeking a true experience in nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is remote, a step back in time, no mod cons and this is it’s beauty. A cosy, warm little haven in the beautiful wild. It is well thought out - all the instructions given by Marianne and George, and noted around the cabin ensure your stay is seamless and answers all the questions you might have - it is important to listen to them, especially as you are in the middle of the wild, responsible for your own warmth and staying in someone’s home. You are stepping back in time, at one with nature. This is a magical place. Marianne and George are kind and welcoming people. In the middle of an area flooded with guides and tourists and impersonal experiences they are a true find. Passionate about nature and the aurora, experts in the region (Marianne is a local). If you’re looking for other experiences whilst staying in the area - they are the perfect people to ask (especially aurora hunting). Going to the cabin is a truly unique experience. We are leaving with stars in our eyes and will definitely return.

Located a bit from central Tromsö in a quiet and calm area, we stayed in this cosy and personal apartment provided with everything we needed, and more. For example food and snacks, a balcony and a bathtub. Much appreciated. Wonderful views of mountains, and fjords not far away. And a bus-stop within a couple of minutes walk. Sten-Viktor is the most nice, friendly, generous, helpful and thoughtful host you can imagine. Always ready to help, easy to reach, and is quick to answer any question you may have. We took a chance and came with a little short notice, and he was very flexible and made us feel so very welcome. A most recommendable place to stay!

The stay at Siv’s house was really wonderful. The room is very comfortable, the bathroom has everything you need and more for showering, and there is a small kitchen that can be used without problems. Siv received us very warmly, she picked us up at the bus station since it was snowing that day, she made us a rich tea and left us food in the fridge so we could prepare breakfast. On our last day in Tromso, she took us for a walk through different places and then dropped us off at the bus station. We hope to come back soon! Thank you very much for everything Siv.

Merete was a very kind and friendly host. The home was a perfect, quiet getaway for people looking for a peaceful stay and I recommend the place a lot! Thank you for a great stay Merete :)

蘭姐的住所十分完美，什麼設備都有，浴室還有暖氣。環境十分衛生乾淨，我能夠住得十分舒服。她十分友善及樂於助人，還請我吃他自家製的可口甜品，很窩心地為我煮了一個麵。不像一般的民宿，蘭姐會主動跟你聊天，亦給你足夠的私人空間，你能在這裏與其他住客和蘭姐建立良好的關係。地點治安很好，即使女孩子自己去也十分安全。對華人來說，這裡就像一個五星級的家，令人樂而忘返。難怪這麼受歡迎，建議需要提前半年預訂，絕對物有所值 Lan’s house is perfect, where have everything you need. Lan is a friendly, helpful and nice person. She makes desserts to us, so delicious! It is very convenient from her house to McDonald and bus stops. It is safe for girls to live alone there. No need to worry about crimes. You can pay to Lan for making yummy Chinese meals, even better than Asian restaurants nearby.

Anton's place is cozy, clean and tidy, very well equipped with daily necessities. There is a lot of food in the refrigerator. The view around the house is also very beautiful. There is a bus stop about five minutes on foot, and it is very close to the airport.Anton was very warm and warm, gave me a lot of help, and also warmly sent us to the airport, I had a very pleasant vacation with friends, highly recommended!

We look back on a wonderful stay at Gjertrud's on Sommaroy. The location has a beautiful view and is quietly located right on a beach. We could easily park the car and also charge electrically nearby. We have used the sauna in the nearby hotel, which is really only a sauna and no other facilities. Breakfast was nice with Norwegian products and by Gjertrud homemade bread. We also used Gjertrud's dinner service once, she can cook well. The beds were a little narrow, which took some getting used to, but were wonderful and we slept well. We could control the temperature in the room ourselves with an electric heater, which went fine. When we stayed there, not all rooms were occupied, if that is the case, 1 bathroom in which the toilet is also in is difficult for me.

Had a fantastic stay. Lovely and warm host, beautiful and atmospheric house and garden. Great location, beautiful views and close to the stone age rock carvings. The breakfast served was tasty and cozy too 😁. would have loved to stay for longer and hope to visit again. can warmly recommend.

Everything about my stay was wonderful. Gjertrud is a friendly, attentive host who is knowledgeable about the area and cares about it and about her guests. She's a wonderful cook and not only is the view from the large living room windows stunning, but the view from her upper deck is probably one of the best views on the island, as you can see the water (and the mountains across the water) on both sides. I highly recommend a stay at Gjertrud's place!

Had a great time at Gjertrud's. The view from the living room is majestic. Dinner made with a local fish was great, the bedroom comfortable. We took a swim the next morning and then exchanged more together in his little cafe on the beach. I leave enriched with all my experiences at Gjertrud.
