The area is a good location to see northern lights and arctic animals. Here you can fish in the fjord that is icy 6 months a year, go mountain hikes in the nearby area or drive into Tromsø which takes about 30 minutes. Hytte på Ytre Tomasjord med fantastisk utsikt over Balsfjorden. Sitte i jacuzzien å nyte nordlyset eller ta badstu for så å avkjøle seg med et snøbad ! 55 km fra Tromsø sentrum! Cottage is 250 m from the main road so in winter times you need 4wd car for going there! Price pr night to hire the jacuzzie is 50 euro. price pr night for the sauna is 30 euro. Offer this season a rent car SUV with 4wd; Range Rover Sport for 160 euro pr day.

Cozy home outside Tromsø, Sommarøya.

Sommarøya is a small village 1 hour outside Tromsø. There is a bus twice a day on weekdays, during the weekend a bus runs Sunday evening. There is good parking for the rental car. In addition to listed rooms, the house has a room with a double sofa bed. This room is adjacent to one of the bedrooms. There are also a room with a singel bed. Animals are allowed at request.
