Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Tromsø Municipality

We had a lovely stay at Ingelinn's apartment. The accommodation is located outside the city center but is easily accessible via two bus lines and is less than a 5-minute walk to two supermarkets, which compensates for the lack of restaurants in the area. A bus line also allows you to reach the airport without changing. The apartment is cute, well decorated and rather well-equipped for cooking. Communication with our host was very smooth and fast. We won't hesitate to return during our next stay in Tromsø!

The host was willing to communicate and coordinate people's needs and were helpful.Just a small bug in the translation function in the system that led to a misunderstanding with the final check out time, which was resolved smoothly in the end, which was much appreciated.

This is a very comfortable homestay, warmly arranged rooms with all the daily necessities, and the stay experience is fantastic.The location of the B&B is good, there is a bus number 26 nearby, making it very convenient to get around.Although not in the city, but because of this, it is possible to enjoy the beautiful nature scenery and the quiet and pleasant surroundings.The host was very friendly and communicative, and was able to resolve issues in a timely manner when there was a problem, making for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.Highly recommended!

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Yngvild's place during our trip through Norway in March. The apartment is very cosy and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen that we put to good use. We had some issues finding the access path to the house, which is not easy to find in winter with plenty of snow on the ground and icy roads to watch out for. In the end all was well and we had a great time in Tromsø!

Staying with Ingrid and Eirik was beautiful. We landed late and were still able to check in easily. The apartment is very cozy and we felt right at home. Surroundings is quiet and perfect for relaxing. We either walked or took the bus to the city, a stop is nearby. We would stay with Ingrid and Eirik again at any time:)

My stay at Veronica’s studio was fantastic! The studio was impeccably clean and nicely decorated. The fully-equipped kitchenette allowed me to quip a meal whenever I pleased. Veronica was very responsive and answered all my questions instantly. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the center of town or a 5-minute bus ride. Supermarket is right around the corner from the apartment building! I highly recommend Veronica’s place.

Evelinn's house is very exquisite and beautiful. Everything is perfect. She also helped us arrange the air mattress bed. She is very welcoming and considerate.

Took 15 min m Taxi from the airport. Easy to find and only 5min walk to the city center . Great location and view . Would love to come back here.

Merethe and Aage were both lovely hosts! The Airbnb was conveniently located close to the city centre but far enough that we were able to see the northern lights! The place was clean and cosy, and we were greeted with a welcome basket too. Highly recommend this place, would definitely stay here again if I visited Tromso again. Thank you!

Great appointment for University visitors. Campus is 10 min walking distance. The apartment is cozy and has everything one might need. Two big supermarkets nearby and the gym is just two floors down. The furniture in the kitchen has seen its days, but is clean. And the kitchen is fully equipped and functional. Worth every cent paid.

This was an amazing cozy place! The neighborhood is fantastic, there are two bus stops very close by, making it incredibly easy to get around. It's a short ride from the center and both the Tromso museum and Telegraf beach are a short walk away, as well as an Xtra supermarket with everything you need. The apartment is well equipped and well organized, we had an amazing stay here. Thanks again!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Christian & Rakel’s home near Tromsø! It’s a comfortable and cozy basement surrounded by beautiful views and hiking right out the door. The home is well-stocked with everything you’ll need to cook and relax. We were really hoping to see the northern lights, but knew it was a risk at such a late date and tail end of the Aurora season. We didn’t have success at the beginning of the week, there was a lot of cloud cover, rain and snow. However, we found a website that helped a lot and we drove 1 1/2 hours one night and 2 1/2 hours the next night and experienced wonderful views of the northern lights!!!! If the sky had been clear, we likely could have seen them at Christian & Rakel’s place. But it was well worth the drive for us. Christian and Rakel were lovely hosts! We had wonderful conversations and they were very responsive and helpful. On the trip we saw a lot of wildlife: moose, reindeer, eagles and other birds. The scenery is breathtaking!!

We had a great trip to Tromsø. The view of the harbor from the apartment was truly the highlight of our visit, such a beautiful spot! There are two grocery stores and a cafe/bakery a quick walk away. We prepared a number of simple meals, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Marius was a very responsive and thoughtful host throughout the process. We appreciated all the detailed info he left for us at check-in. Thank you!

We just finished our stay in Tromsø. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our hosts and the home. We saw the view on the photos, but it still shocks you when you walk in. We spent many hours looking out the windows and enjoying the beautiful city. Eirik and Karina were extremely responsive and proactive with all communications. They checked in periodically to make sure we were okay. Their home is immaculate and lent itself well to our family, as described. We even saw the auroras from the balcony on a clear night. Thank you, we would come again in a heartbeat!

Kristin’s home felt exactly like that- a home. It felt like stepping into a place you’ve known for years. The old-timey charm it has transports you back to your grandma’s house, and the modern electronics and fittings elevates the experience further. A guitar to jam with your friends? Art kits? Adventure kits? Kristin has made everything you might need available, and she’s incredibly receptive and helpful with any questions you might have for her. She stocked up the fridge based on our preferences, and was overwhelmingly hospitable. We caught our first Lights of the trip from this property and there would have been no better place to do it from! This is probably the best BnB we’ve stayed at ever, and Kristin’s unreasonable hospitality made sure it’s gonna stay that for a while. Thank you Kristin for such a wonderful experience, you made it so special and easy for us here at Senja!❤️

What a perfect place to spend some time in Tromso! Kristin Helene was very communicative from the start. We appreciated her warm welcome. We were not able to meet her in person but the personal note left on the table was such a nice touch. We liked being in Hamna a bit removed from the buzzing city center and only 30 min by bus (bus 28 stop is right down the street). Kristin's apartment is the most homey Airbnb we've ever stayed in and was so comfortable. BTW, the beds are amazing and there is more that you need. We enjoyed the last bit of the northern lights from the porch. We hope to be back one day. Thanks Kristin for sharing your sweet home with us.

What a truly fun and artsy house! We were looking for a rental that was easy to walk around to explore Tromso and this house fit the bill! It was great that it was a Yes house…we brought a few groceries but it helped to be able to use a few things to supplement. Otherwise we ate out around town and explored local cuisine. Very responsive and so very helpful with an early check in. Such a fun artsy vibe!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Northern Lights. Heidi was a very responsive host and even made sure we had some groceries as we were arriving so late. The villa is very warm and cosy with stunning views across to Tromsø. We had a magical family holiday in a winter wonderland!

A beautiful family home in Tromso with a spectacular view over the fjord. We saw the Northern Lights on our first night from the balcony! Buses to the city centre and the airport are a couple of minutes walk away and are really frequent. You don’t need a car. Would recommend a trip up the mountain in the cable car. Spectacular views over Tromso and amazing aurora that filled the sky. The house was warm, spotlessly clean and welcoming. The only draw back was having only one bathroom between 6 people but that is clear from the description.
