Beachfront vacation rentals in Tromsø Municipality

We were very happy at Bente's place. Bente was there to greet us when we arrived (at the time of our choosing after the check-in time), and explained everything. There was also a really good book explaining things but we then only needed to use that as a reference as Bente had already explained it all. Bente has also been very easy to communicate with electronically - very responsive and proactive. The cabin has a very private setting on a beautiful shoreline, and has plenty of windows to let in the light and lovely views (exactly as per the pictures on Airbnb). The cabin was very well kitted out - it had everything needed; for example, the kitchen was really great. We were also very grateful for the use of the snowshoes, and the children loved the sledges and Bente pointed out a great hill beside the house to use these on. We'd definitely hope to return if / when we return to the area.

Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. We spent a few days in a beautiful house. Marianne was very helpful with her advices. I would roccommend it to all who wants to stay in a remote nice place.

We had a lovely stay here and it was all we could have asked for. You can see the sea from the hut the view was beautiful. The accommodation was warm and the host provided tea and snacks which went down a treat after the long drive. If we ever come back we would stay here again.

My family and I felt comfortable in Gammelstua from the beginning. It is very cozy, located below the road alone on the water, yet is still central. Tromsø and the airport can be reached in twenty minutes by car, halfway we bought in the supermarket "Eidehandel" and ate in the associated canteen. There is plenty to discover on Kvaløya, for example, you can ride dog sledges. When we arrived, there was a snowstorm, but Siv and her brother took wonderful care of the driveway and answered our questions about parking right away.

The accommodation is located within walking distance of downtown in a really cozy area. Rebecca was very helpful and accurately described everything. The apartment is well-equipped and really cozy, I couldn't have imagined anything better.

I really enjoyed this cute little house located in the heart of Senja near all the nice photography spots! House is super cute! And I really liked all the attention to details from the host..such as giving my two Senja beers from a local brewery! Nice touch!

Said was an exceptional host! Friendly & communicative, he even sent a driver to collect me from the airport & take me to get groceries before dropping me at the doorstep as my flight arrived on a Sunday evening when public transport is limited. 5* host!! The apartment is stylish & comfortable with a beautiful view, I saw the northern lights from the front porch! It is a little way from the city, but the bus stop is very close by & public transport is easy to navigate (Said recommended the transport app “Svipper”) beautiful city. Would highly recommend. 😊

Kvalöya Lodge is one of the nicest places we've ever had and Ketil is the nicest and most caring host you can imagine. We especially enjoyed the view of the fjord, the evening fireplace, the northern lights and Ketil's tips (Husky tour with Active Tromsö, reindeer herds (they like carrots by the way), Sommaröy, Eidel Handel (great supermarket for self-catering), Söstrene Kafé in Tromsvik). We ended up with a lot of snow - fortunately the country road is well cleared 24/7. Snowshoes and spikes are at guests' disposal.

Words will never make justice to what we felt at this house. When we saw Bergsfjorden from the upper part of the road, we understood where we were landing. This place is magical. Inside and outside. The bad part was packing and leaving those windows full of joy behind.

Just wow! We loved the house, the location, sauna and hot tub! It’s beautiful and peaceful. Hans is a very nice host, helped and explained everything. We had the best time and hopefully come back one day. :)

I was allowed to stay at Bjørn's Airbnb 2 years ago and fell in love with the house and surroundings. I would claim that Bjørn owns one of the nicest Airbnb on this platform. But not only the house and the breathtaking view of the fjord but also the extremely friendly hospitality of Bjørn makes this place so special.

Its hard to overstate our enjoyment staying at Andreas’s cabin. This is a beautiful location about 25 minutes drive from Tromso. The cabin is welcoming and private. The views are spectacular. But even more, Andreas defined an excellent host. He had the Sauna on when we arrived, always attentive, friendly and proactive. We ended up driving down deep into Finland to see northern lights because of snow and clouds in Tromso. And in no small part because Andreas was so helpful in advising and guiding our choice and timing. Far and away our best Airbnb experience. We’d love to return some day.

A wonderful cottage right on the sea! Very quiet location with a breathtaking view. There is everything you need for a longer stay. Perfect spot for the aurora & wildlife. You can take many great excursions on foot or with a short drive. Around wonderful place to stay, thank you Ulette

A Perfect Getaway – Highly Recommended! Our stay at this beautiful holiday rental was nothing short of amazing! clearly easy to follow instructions meant we got into the property hassle free, even with a very late arrival. The property itself was stunning—immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views made it the perfect escape from everyday life. The host was super helpful, helping us with warnings of bad weather, roads closed due to avalanches and just generally helpful information. The place was very easily accessible from the city centre. it felt like home at the apartment. Jenny was really helpful and always available if we needed any assistance. The surroundings were really good. Most of the places were at a walkable distance from the apartment. We would definitely recommend Jenny's place for a nice cozy stay if anyone is travelling to Tromso.

The space is amazing. The apartment is on the 8th floor and is built out into the sea. There is a stunning view from the balcony and living room. Requests were always answered very quickly. The documents to find the accommodation, as well as the description where the PP and apartment key is were great. The apartment was 100% in line with our expectations. Our son is wheelchair user, the apartment is highly recommended for wheelchair users We would like to thank you very much for letting us stay at this great place.

We had a wonderful time in the fantastic house of Vivi- it is as gorgeous as it looks on the Fotos! We loved the beautiful and calm surrounding- a true winter wonderland! Communication with Vivi was quick and easy- we hopefully come back one day!

We had a lovely stay in Mathias’s home. The flat looks just like the photos, and it’s a quick and easy 10-15 minute walk to most shops, restaurants, etc in central Tromso. Conveniently located to the wonderful Vervet Bakeri nearby. Would stay here again!

This place is pure magic. We were lucky to see the northern lights right at our arrival. It was a clear and unspoiled view directly at the house. The cabin is very cozy, equipped with everything you need. With the fjord right in front of the house we were able to do ice bathing and shore fishing. Anders is a great host with awesome support!
