We had a wonderful time at Sonjas cottage. There are many information and you can take lovely tours in Vesterålen and Lofoten because the cottage is so central. The cottage is very comfortable decorated warm, bright and sunny; it is idyllically quiet and pleasantly close to the water in a beautiful natural area with wonderful views. After swimming in the fjord, the hot pool is really amazing! We highly recommend the cabin!!! Thank you for everything.

Wonderful cabin with an incredible view of the fjord. Bright and comfortable, with lots of common spaces useful for our needs. It was the perfect base for our ski mountaineering week in Lyngen. Also, the gem is the outdoor hot tub where you can relax under the stars at the end of the day. Maria and Andreas have always been available and very friendly, welcoming us even in the middle of the night due to a delay in our flight. Highly recommended!

Our stay was just wonderful. The house offers a breathtaking view of the sea, which we enjoyed every day. The place was spotlessly clean, cozily furnished and equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings and the proximity to nature made our stay particularly relaxing. The host was extremely helpful and made sure we felt completely comfortable. We highly recommend this place and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The place was exactly as described, super cozy and with a fantastic view. Arthur welcomed us very warmly, gave us some tips for Tromsø and even brought drinks for the hot tub. We felt very comfortable and would come back any time. Thank you :)

Anette's place was the perfect place for our tour holidays for us. The apartment is in a great location, has a great view of the fjord and is only a few meters from the sea. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. We had enough room for the three of us. (Attention 1 room has no door) The kitchen is well equipped and you have a beautiful view from the dining table. Anette is very helpful, gave us good tips and was also waiting for us when we arrived late. We had a great time at Anette's place.

Per was an exceptional host! Out of 100 stays, he is by far the best host we have had. Per made sure everything was perfect for the stay. The kids loved the snow on the farm and Per sorted out a sledding hill for them along with all the bits and bobs needed to enjoy the cold weather. He went above and beyond and I am grateful for the hospitality and love that he showed myself, wife, and three kids. Thank you!

Stay and book within the city of Tromsø for 2-3 days and the rest of your stay, you MUST book one of Freddy’s campers. Beyond the city, you will see the real beauty of Tromsø. We stayed at Freddy’s place for 5 nights! Within six days, 1. We saw the Aurora Borealis dancing right in front of Freddy’s property. 2. We watched the most beautiful green, pink, purple Aurora Borealis during our last night right at Freddy’s backyard. 💚💜💖 3. We hiked twice in different areas 30-mins away by driving from Freddy’s place, 4. We had a walk in the nearby area 5. We ate quail eggs (gifted to us by Freddy). 6. There was a day when we just stayed in the camper, enjoyed the view and read a book. We also walked around the area that day. 7. From afar, we saw Moose and Reindeers. 8. Max the cat, the ducks and Geese are a plus! So adorable! We really wanted to get around the places outside the city, good thing Freddy had an extra car for us to rent. We can assure you, renting a car and driving around is worth the view, worth the everything! 😉 The camper was clean, complete and organize as we arrived. For two people, it is very spacious. The view from the window is stunning. The camper is well-heated. 30mins away, there is a local grocery store. We ate there once and we liked it, and we did our groceries from there too. Karin welcomed us and explained to us everything. Freddy was very helpful with many tips to give us. You can ask him anything about Tromsø. He lent us snow shoes and walking sticks for hiking. We wouldn’t have hiked without it. They are both hospitable and very interesting people to talk with. So if you’re planning a trip outside of Tromsø city, Freddy’s camper is the place to be!

We cannot say enough about how lovely our stay was at this beautiful property. The views, the comfortable accommodations, the sauna and jacuzzi, cozy and well supplied kitchen…Tromvik Lodge had it all! We really appreciated how responsive Tore was since we needed some guidance with it being our first time in Norway. He made everything accessible for us and we felt right at home. Despite it being cloudy during our stay, we had two spectacular nights viewing the Aurora borealis! It was a dream come true in the most perfect setting at this lodge.

This is really a very cozy and beautiful house, the house is in front of the canyon, the view is great, Edna Bosse and her husband took care of the house very clean and tidy, you can feel their careful maintenance of the house everywhere, if there is a chance, I hope to stay again in some summer.

We were very happy at Bente's place. Bente was there to greet us when we arrived (at the time of our choosing after the check-in time), and explained everything. There was also a really good book explaining things but we then only needed to use that as a reference as Bente had already explained it all. Bente has also been very easy to communicate with electronically - very responsive and proactive. The cabin has a very private setting on a beautiful shoreline, and has plenty of windows to let in the light and lovely views (exactly as per the pictures on Airbnb). The cabin was very well kitted out - it had everything needed; for example, the kitchen was really great. We were also very grateful for the use of the snowshoes, and the children loved the sledges and Bente pointed out a great hill beside the house to use these on. We'd definitely hope to return if / when we return to the area.

Nick and Penny were extremely helpful and helped us to settle down when we arrived, got us some essential groceries and guided us. The surroundings are peaceful and have a great view. We could see dancing Northern lights at midnight from their apartment. It was a beautiful experience to stay at their apartment.

The cottage is cozy, peaceful, and set in a beautiful location, and Benthe was so kind and helpful. Wish I could have stayed more days! Highly recommended.

Lovely quirky little cabin. Melissa has the cabin very well kitted out. It was warm cosy and comfortable. It was ideal for our overnight stop on the way to Tromso from Lofoten Islands.

We visitited Stine's place in April. It is in a quiet central location with excellent views from the lounge window. It is modern and well kept up, yet has the lovely cosy warmth when outside it is freezing and snowing hard. Stine, like other Norwegians we have met, is very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Stine.

Stian's place is not big but has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The location is also good - close to beautiful views, the airport, the city centre, shops. The area is quiet and peaceful. We were also able to see the northern lights from Telegrafbukta (on Stian's recommendation). Communication with Stian was easy and quick.

We had four unforgettable days in Trømsø. The apartment had a good location. Close to the center and the water. There was even a parking space at the house. The apartment was clean and very well maintained and very well equipped.

Kjersti's place is extremely cozy. It has everything you need to spend a few days or more. The place may be a little far from the cities but if you are looking for calm it's perfect, I recommend it!

Daniel is a great host, beautiful place. Felt like a home away from home. It's just 3 minutes walk from the nearest bus stop that goes to the city centre. The supermarket is also very close and tromso cable car is just 500m walk. The drawing room and the kitchen is especially well decorated. Everything was perfect during our stay. We'd love to stay again when we'll visit tromso in the future.

Fabiane is a fantastic host, and her communication was great. The flat is amazing and clean. The lounge is huge with massive windows and beautiful views. We also saw the northern lights from the flat. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fabiane’s home and highly recommend it to anyone who travels to Tromso.

The only tricky thing was the parking, but this place is a great spot to stay!
