Stunning views and location, and so cozy. Highlights are the jacuzzi, sauna, access to take a dip in the fjord, the fireplace in the living room, the comfy beds, and fully kitted out kitchen with a great coffee machine. Host was very nice and always responsive. Highly recommend!

The immaculate apartment had everything you would want for a short stay. It is away from the city centre but the local busses run at regular intervals and well into the early hours. After a northern lights trip I noticed the regular bus was running at 02.30! The bus stop is 5 minutes away with busses running every 10 minutes or so. The view of the city from just outside the apartment is wonderful and I managed to get some great photos of the Aurora over the backdrop of Tromsø. There are 2 well stocked supermarkets close by, one a 3 minute walk the other a 5 minute walk. For anyone who doesn’t know, in Norway, alcohol cannot be bought after 8pm on a Friday and 6pm on a weekend. I got caught out by my lack of local knowledge. In short the apartment the location and the host were everything I wished for.

Absolutely lovely and idyllic apartment in a quiet area. You can see both the mountains and the sea from the yard. The host was incredibly friendly and everything was explained more than clearly. We had a truly wonderful mini-vacation. The apartment was clean, and to our delight the breakfast items were very plentiful and had plenty of options. Highly recommended!

Very recently renovated accommodation, very clean and functional. The apartment on one level has a pretty terrace: it is integrated into a larger building that has been divided into three. Very quiet because a little far from the main road (E6). Ideal location right across the ferry dock that connects Olderdalen to the Lyngen opposite (40 min crossing). It's very convenient to vary your hikes on the two massifs. Grocery store in walking distance. Departure from an important hike (Gillaviri) from the village. Aksel and Nathalie live in a neighboring house: they are very friendly and helpful. Even if they don't ski touring themselves, they know the subject very well and are good tips. Great place to stay for two, even if an extra bed is possible in the living room.

Super stay!The room is clean and cozy, and the small details are especially attentive, it's like going back to your own little home ~ The bed is too comfortable, until you sleep until you wake up naturally! The host is very nice and welcoming.The location is also very convenient, and the surrounding environment is also safe and quiet. Really love this place and will definitely stay here again next time!

I loved staying at Henriette’s place! Easy access to the city via bus (which came pretty often + few bus options) and the studio was perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. Henriette was also super helpful - she allowed me to leave my bags at her place when I got to Tromso in the morning and even offered to let me borrow winter boots when it was snowing hard. Great host, great stay!

This house offers an extraordinary view of the sea and the Northern Lights on the beautiful island of Sommarøy. The decor is impeccable, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, especially with the warm fireplace that adds to the charm. The house is fully equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay, and it is conveniently located close to Tromsø and the ferry to Senja. Runne was an excellent host, always attentive and even gave us Northern Lights alerts, which made our experience even more special. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Sommarøy!

We spent a few days in a beautiful house. Marianne was very helpful with her advices. I would roccommend it to all who wants to stay in a remote nice place.

Amazing cabin in Ringvassøya, as quiet as the arctic countryside but conveniently located 30mins from Tromsø! The house, fully furnished and equipped, is just beautiful, it feels like being on a boat… the sauna in front of the Ocean is an absolute blast! Tina and René have been super reactive and helpful when needed! Couldn’t ask for more! :) hope to see you next time!

We stayed 10 people at Ingrids place and went skitouring around in the lyngen fjord. The house was perfekt for that! Plenty of space! Ingrid helped us booking a boat for a fishing trip, which was awesome we the weather was not good for skiing! Thanks!

The cottage is cozy, peaceful, and set in a beautiful location, and Benthe was so kind and helpful. Wish I could have stayed more days! Highly recommended.

We've had a great stay here on our business trip. If you prefer a calm place then it will be perfect. Good view out of the apartment, extremely spacious! Friendly and helpful host.

The house is spacious, very well heated (floor heating in the entrance and very nice bathrooms), with a magnificent view from the balcony (from where you can see the aurora on a clear day!). Everything was very clean and cozy. We were traveling with the whole family with two babies (9 months and 2.5 years), there were beds and high chairs for both. The kitchen is very well equipped, better than expected! The access ramp for cars is slightly sloping, which can be a little slippery in winter but the rental cars on site (4 wheel drive) are quite suitable. There is a convenience store within walking distance (3min) and a car charging point 5min away. Tom is very responsive to all our questions.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and incredibly warm (which was perfect for the season). The view was absolutely breathtaking; waking up to it every morning was a highlight of my trip. Siv was responsive and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed. Great location with great views of the fjord. Bus stop right around the corner to get into town. The apartment was super clean and the communication with Jøran easy and nice.

This place is and will be fantastic. First of all, seeing Frank was very nice. He immediately makes you feel very welcome. He is hospitable and cheerful. The apartment is very cozy and nicely decorated. Clean, large windows, nice bed, good kitchen essentials and a wood-burning stove outside to light a fire. The views over the coast and the mountains are phenomenal and due to the rapidly changing light, you never get bored. It's a really restful place and it was a valuable ‘coming home’. We loved Thomas’ house . It is in a beautiful area . We hired a car for half the time and it made it a bit easier to get around . We found the bus good once we fitted into their schedule . No buses on Sunday but Thomas offered to drive us into town in lieu . We chose to explore the beautiful area we were in on foot . Thomas was a great host , an excellent communicator and looked after our needs providing a lend of spikes and fluorescent gear . The house is beautiful, views are spectacular and it is very well appointed . No hesitation to recommend it . After 10 cloudy nights we missed out on seeing the Northern Lights, but the amount of snow that fell in that time totally made up for it .

Lovely apartment right on the water. Well connected to the bus lines to the center, walk to the bus stop about 5 min. Two supermarkets are also very close. Andrea is very friendly, accommodating and also had some tips for Tromsø ready.
