This cozy 3 BR/2 Bath house in Trinidad, CO was recently refreshed. It offers a full kitchen and sleeps 5 plus a pullout sleeper in the living room. The large living space includes a fireplace with insert to keep you warm along with central heat. Wifi available with streaming or DVD displays in every room. We ask for your patience as we continue working on exterior and window improvements. The Papahouse is 1 mile from downtown Trinidad and 3 miles from Trinidad Lake State Park. Come enjoy!

We truly enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive and helpful. The house was beautiful! They sent a great link for their guide upon booking which was also very helpful and it even provided a link to an article with the history of the Victorian home. Very cool! We would definitely recommend and would return.

The cabin was exactly what we needed and the surroundings were so pretty. The host, Vivian, really outdid herself. She was super responsive, kind and took care of us like we were family. She prepared meals for us that were delicious, and this gesture was more than we ever could have imagined. All around, great experience!

Steve was a superb host, treated our family like we were old friends of his. :) He offered to help carry our luggage (no one does that anymore, 5stars alone for that). We enjoyed the local cats coming to visit. Downtown literally was within a city block downhill walk. If you appreciate century old homes with brick roads, you need to stay here!!! The Wonderful House (Chinese Restaurant) had the kindest, quickest and most attentive service of any place we dined at. Their Hot Tea was the tea of the town. Check out The Ten Penny Thrift Store for the best jeans in town. Cash is king in downtown Trinidad.

The guesthouse is adorable. The views were spectacular, especially from the convenient, covered porch facing South. At night you can see the milky way and so many stars - it's so nice without the city light pollution. The house has great physical amenities, like quality furniture and linens and excellent supplies in the kitchen. The walk to town is a bit long, but doable in 20-25 minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely to walk through.

What a wonderful weekend thanks to a great place and a great host. As a part of the Grateful Living Lodge, the cabin was very thoughtfully furnished, and nothing beats very nice towels and linens to make you feel pampered. We were welcomed and shown around the cabin, including all of the quirks of cabin living. Our host adjusted our cabin without us even asking so that it better accommodated my family. It was just the break from the hustle and bustle of life that we needed!

Stonewall Lodge is a beautiful place near gorgeous mountains (Spanish Peaks). Unfortunately, we got a surprised winter storm and it kept us inside for most of our stay. Linda, our host, was very responsive and friendly. She also left an awesome little gift for my mother, who turned 65 this weekend. Over all, great place, awesome cabin and great host.
