Family-friendly vacation rentals in Trafaria

We had a wonderful time at Jorge’s place. The house is wonderful, has everything you need. The pictures really don’t do it justice! It’s huge and beautiful and very comfortable. We travelled with our 2 young children (2 &4) and it was perfect. The outside space is also lovely, nice pool and outside seating with sun or shade. The area was lovely, supermarkets etc nearby. Also went to an amazing beach and restaurant on Jorge’s recommendation. Communication throughout was easy and helpful. They even stocked the fridge for us with dinner on our first night. Couldn’t ask for more, thank you! We’ll be back.

Excellent stay in the heart of Lisbon. Ariane welcomed us in an extremely kind and considerate way to her apartment, despite a later arrival than expected. Everything is done to feel right at home, it lacks neither space nor comfort or equipment. The very central area is ideal for visiting Lisbon, and quiet at night even though it may seem a little less secure than other areas of Lisbon. just note that the stairs are a little steep but as I think all over the old center of Lisbon. Thanks again to Ariane for the wonderful stay.

Miguel was very friendly and flexible with the check in and check out time. The apartment is large with a great view! We had a lovely stay.

Fantastic location in old Sintra! Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved people watching from the balcony doors down to the main square. We walked to Peña, Moorish Castle & Quinta de Regaleira. We were there just before Easter (low season) and found parking on road as advised by host. Used the drop off/pick up space nearby for unloading.

Great place to stay, beautiful surroundings, close to restaurants and beach. Easy drive from Lisbon. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

We had a really great stay at Ana and Jorge's place. Jorge welcomed us in a friendly manner and showed us everything. We got a small and delicious basic set for the kitchen and immediately felt at home. Ana kept sending us helpful tips. They provided everything necessary for our little daughter. If we're in Lisbon again, then definitely here!

Amazing property and very helpful host

We absolutely loved this place. We were a family of 4, children aged 10 and 5, and made this place our home for 10 nights. The place was spacious, clean, had everything we wanted like washing machine and drier. Beds were comfortable. Lounge was spacious, and loads of room for the kids to play, and not annoy the adults! Location was excellent. Not to far from the centre of Lisbon especially if you use Uber and Bolt. The hosts were excellent, always quick to respond and deal with any enquiries. We would come and stay here again, and I would 100% recommend this place to our family and friends. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place, and we hope we can stay here again in the future. Impeccable exterior for this kind of rental, sun, swimming pool, terrace, fireplace-barbecue, house "like at home" with everything you need to live there, well equipped with household electronics, quiet despite the "Portuguese" dogs who often bark at night but almost not in our case, quiet in the neighborhood, the market 100m from the house and supermarkets that are not very far either, my favorite beach (Princesa) 5 minutes by car.

Such a beautiful place in a great town. We really enjoyed staying in the middle of everything and exploring in the morning and evenings when things were less busy. Patricia has the place very well stocked with great towels, robes, etc!

It was lovely to meet Judite when she warmly welcomed me at the Airbnb. She and Sara had kindly left fruit, croissants, milk and an array of teas and coffees in the kitchenette which was well equipped and spotless as was the shower room. There was always lots of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and the area was very quiet at night for a good night’s sleep. I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and sometimes at the table in the room. It was very near the supermarket and a cafe and a short walk to the beach. The train station was also within walking distance. I had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.

Great family apartment with everything you need for a longer stay. There are heaters in every room, so the apartment can be heated during colder months. CD collection, TV and toys are excellent for rainy days. Great choice of local and international cafes and restaurants nearby, plus grocery stores and a playground. Nearby bus stops and metro stations give you options to go anywhere. Friendly host to help with everything.

Staying at Juan’s place was perfect in many ways. Juan made us feel very welcome and his place is charming. I can’t imagine a better location - next to the castle in old town; it was a convenient spot for shopping, day treks around the city, and transportation from the airport and to Porto. We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Thanks Maria for this stay. Apartment with very convenient garage to leave your car. The neighborhood is a little out of Lisbon but the center is accessible in 30 minutes by taxi.

The host's house and the guest house are on the same property, but both are independent (only the exit from the property is shared). The house fully corresponds to the listing. We stayed during New Year's, so we didn't use the pool, but it was available and the view from the living room was very nice. The living room is really the porch of the guest house. In winter it is closed with transparent plastic blinds and the space is warmed with the stove and a heater. It's a bit of a cold space, but if you sit by the stove and with a blanket you can have a good green wine. 😉 The house is located in an elevated, quiet area and you can park at the door. You can walk to downtown Sintra in just 30 minutes, or drive (10 minutes) and pay an ORA ticket for 13 euros for the whole day. By car it only takes 20 minutes to Lisbon or Cascais. The host was always attentive and helped us with everything. Thank you. 🙂

It was a dream checkin as Paula and Anselmo waited for us. Moreover, she prepared some local Portugese dish which was blessing in disguise. Barbecue was a bit old and was replaced the next day!! Garden is the main attraction as the kids just loved there !

The home is beautiful and spacious enough that all 9 of us had our own space and room to hang out. The pool is incredible and the location is beautiful, although not right in the heart of lisbon ubers are extremely cheap (at least compared to London) so getting into to lisbon or to the beach was very easy. We had a great time !

Renata is a wonderful host, she is friendly and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Highly Recommended.

Was a very nice place to stay and ideal for two families

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

We had a great, restful time at Lurdes despite rainy weather. We were very warmly welcomed and provided with great sightseeing and restaurant tips. Elisabeth was always available for us and very quick to respond. The ocean view from the deck is amazing! The nearby beach (we would recommend a car) has great bars and clear water. The house is clean and as pictured. Thank You!
