What a quaint beautiful spot. The cottage was clean and comfortable with an electric blanket which was very welcome in the cold weather. The chickens welcomed us but we missed seeing the possums! Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at McMillan's. We felt right at home and our children had a great time playing outside and in the games room. Our accommodation was perfect for a family of four and it was so peaceful. We will definitely come back and stay again. Thank you

She provides a terrific dog-friendly property and gorgeous “home away from home”❣️ From the moment we drove in a smile was on my face… The house is cheerful on the outside and charmingly appointed on the inside. Melissa has provided for every need, want and desire! Starting with a Gift Basket 🤩 Great bed, quality towels and beautiful bathroom products. Kitchen has a fully stocked pantry and fridge! Wonderful 🙏 Lounge is comfortable and cosy. So warm. Thanks for the Games and Record Player!!! Loved it 💝 No issues with WiFi or TV choices either 👏 So close to shop and the beach. Our beautiful fur-babies loved running around the property free 😅 And we loved warming ourselves by the fire out back. Wonderful place to stay. Great venue for kids. Our 6 year old twins loved feeding the farm animals and having the freedom to ride their bikes around the property. The giant games area was fantastic. We learned to play chess! The outdoor amenities are beautifully presented, fire pit with large log seating was perfect.

A lovely place, close to shops and very comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal.

A lovely cottage with plenty of room for the family to spread out. Even though it was a bit cold, the doonas provided were beautifully warm and the beds were so comfy. A well equipped and clean kitchen. Would recommend to anyone wanting a place to stay in Longford or near Sale.

Great little place, clean & tidy. A stones throw from the water. Easy walk for the kids with the SUP and fishing rods. Unfortunately we had to depart early for family reasons but would definitely go back.

We very much enjoyed our stay with Peggy our kelpie. The owners are dog lovers. Metung was quiet and peaceful with an easy pub meal in walking distance. Clovelly cottage was very comfortable but would have been more atmospheric with the slow combustion heater set up to use. A lovely property and we highly recommend a stay there.

Such a beautiful property. The surf cottage was perfect and had everything you needed. Loved relaxing by the fire pit and the kids loved visiting the farm animals. We will definitely be back! Thank you Peter and Ellis

This is the kind of place you never want to leave - the location is ideal with the sound of the waves so peaceful to listen to at night and a short walk into town or to the boardwalk. The house accommodated three families with children well with everyone having there own space and great spaces for shared meals. The heated pool and firepit were a hot with the kids and our beautiful groodle had the time of his life. We are already planning another return trip.

great place for a small group

We really enjoyed our bush cottage stay and extended by a couple of days. It feels like you are genuinely in nature.. on a small farm.. plenty of birds.. simple living and still very close to the main action in Lakes Entrance.

Second time we’ve stayed here and we absolutely love it! See you next time.

We love this place! Everything is perfect! First time we used the fire so cool and so efficient to make the whole house warm. Kathy’s garden is also beautiful. We really appreciate that there are fresh flowers every corner of the place . We definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again next time when we are in Metung.

We had a very enjoyable few days at McMillans. The listing is as described. Staff friendly and helpful, gave us s late checkout. We enjoyed the sauna and other amenities.

A brief stay in Metung. First time here and unfortunately weather was not good but we enjoyed relaxing in the cottage looking at the rain! Cottage very well equipped and comfortable.
