The guesthouse sits on the sheltered and private side of the main residence and one acre site, overlooking large trees and gardens. Banool Cottage is a small, dog friendly cottage situated in a quiet closed street . Dogs are welcome ! We love our own dogs so understand the need for guests to be able to have a fun time with theirs . The property is fully fenced , dog beds , bowls, and a kennel are supplied . This area of Metung is an elevated area partly treed with tall gums. A short walk down the hill is the boardwalk that skirts beautiful Bancroft Bay and leads you into Metung Village, (15-20 minutes).

Set on a private and peaceful 130 acre property just 10 minutes from the town of Bairnsdale, the Burrow has been built underground. The roof is a garden. The Burrow is light and airy and naturally well insulated. The floor to ceiling windows allow guests to view the natural environment and enjoy the night sky. The Burrow provides an opportunity to experience unique, eco-friendly earth-sheltered living and guests may walk on the property to see farm animals and native wildlife.

Koala Kottage’s refurbished interior features a living area, dining area, exquisite large en suite bathroom with garden courtyard view and an ultra modern fully equipped kitchen . There is also an eating area and BBQ outside on the vine covered deck or make use of the seated fire pit area with a barbecue cooking plate . Quiet self-contained unit with abundant bird life

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

Eagle Point Lakeside Cottage

Pet friendly cosy and warm rustic cottage on the water at Eagle Point. Eagle Point Lakeside Cottage is on Lake King of Gippsland Lakes. Cycling, fishing, walking, swimming and boating are popular here. Next door is the fauna reserve and great bird watching. It has a lake frontage and a shallow water jetty. On windy days watch kite surfers out the front. The ambience and serenity are wonderful. Electric vehicle? We are happy to have it plugged in while you are here
