We had such a peaceful weekend at Denise’s. Denise was a wonderful host who made us feel right at home. The place was clean and comfortable with everything we needed and the relaxing hot tub that was definitely a highlight. We loved getting to know the farm animals, they were so entertaining and full of personality. We highly recommend Denise’s and look forward to our next visit.

Really cosy stay at the Cove Cottage. Loved the views, the ability to disconnect from our hectic city lifestyle, go for a trek and spot the wildlife. Spotted wild koalas, deer and had a blast with the beautiful friendly native birds. Our dog had an amazing time, a plus with a fenced yard and plenty of space for walkies.

We had a great experience staying at this cozy cabin. The gravel road leading up to it was a bit rough, but manageable. The peaceful isolation and forest surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights was seeing alpacas in the morning, which was a fun and unique experience. The fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere, and while the cabin isn’t luxurious, it has all the essentials you need for a relaxing weekend getaway. We did notice the water in the spa was a little cloudy and came across a few spiders in the cabin, but nothing too unexpected for a place in the woods. A nice touch was the collection of board games, which we really enjoyed playing. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and a great spot for those looking to unplug and unwind.

We stayed at Fiona’s cottage in Port Fairy for a few days just before Easter. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet only a short walk to the local shops, the beach or even the lighthouse if you are up for a longer stroll. The cottage is charmingly decorated with artistic touches in every corner. The garden is absolutely beautiful and a lovely spot to enjoy a meal or soak up the morning and afternoon sun. The whole place is full of character. It looks even better in real life than in the photos. Fiona was very communicative and always responded promptly to messages. We brought our dog along and she settled in quickly and seemed completely relaxed in the cottage garden. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to stay. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Such a beautiful experience would definitely come again so peaceful and calming and just all in all perfect. Rozi and husband were extremely sweet and very helpful. Well worth the $$ spent.

A wonderful quite secluded Cabin amongst natural bushland and wildlife such as wallabies and native birds. only 10min walk to the beach. Enjoyed having a charcoal BBQ in the undercover verandah and wood heater warmed the place up nicely. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

Normally, when you book a place to stay, it's an expectation that the pictures will make it look slightly better than it is. Which is why I was surprised that this place is EVEN BETTER THAN IT LOOKS IN THE PICTURES. What really struck me was how stunning the green surroundings were, which were visible through large windows in every room. The fireplace and dark green walls also give it a cozy ambience. All in all, when I think about "cabin in the rainforest", this place is exactly the ideal I'm picturing. One of the things we really liked was the fact that we had access, steps away, to what was essentially a private rainforest. There was a beautiful tree-fringed billabong that our dog would have swum in if it had been warmer, there were glow-worms at night, and apparently even a platypus (though we didn't see it ourselves). And all of this was all ours to enjoy exclusively. Kim was friendly and communicative. Cannot say enough good things!

We loved staying in Laura and Nick’s cute little cottage. Super comfortable and kitchen was perfect with excellent pots and pans!

We had a great one-night stay at The Blue Bollard. Joanne was a responsive and welcoming host, greeting us on arrival. The space was clean, tidy, and cutely decorated—just what we needed for a short stay. Conveniently located near Apollo Bay’s restaurants and pubs, it made exploring the area easy and enjoyable.

We had a great time. Penny is a great host and the place is great for exploring the peninsula. The location is perfect, only minutes walk to all the amenities including a local library, cinema, various shops and lovely beaches. Our puppy loved going to the beach and played in the water. Penny’s place is great value for money. The people in town were just so friendly to us. I highly recommend Penny’s place.

Judith and Paul’s cottage was perfect for our stay in Healesville with our 15 month old son. The property was clean, tidy and had lots of amenities that were important to us as a young family, such as outlet covers, children’s toys, books and tableware. The back deck and gardens were stunning and provided a perfect spot to unwind. In terms of location the cottage is a short 6 minute drive to the Healesville sanctuary, and a short drive into town where there are lots of shops, cafes and parks. We can see why this property would be ideal if you have a dog! We will be recommending the property to our friends who like to travel with their pets.

The most dog friendly accomodation we have ever stayed at - dog beds, bowls and even toys provided! Fabulous block, pretty and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the back area with chiminea fire pit... perfect spot to relax in the evenings. Coffee machine was also fab! The generous gift basket with wine and both human and doggie treats was a lovely welcoming surprise. Loved our stay!

Helen was great host. An excellent communicator. The cottage is perfect as a base to explore the area with a secure space for the dog. I would stay there again if I needed somewhere close to Canberra and outlying areas. It was very peaceful

this place is amazing... rustic and old world cosy. we absolutely loved it, and one of the cheapest places in venus bay... dont tell the owners.

We found Kate's property with extensive gardens and mature trees was so impressive, especially the avenue of trees at night. Our delightful cottage had everything you could want. All the rooms, including the bathroom, were spacious and the kitchen was well appointed and the view over the farmland was very restful. We received a lovely surprise on returning to the cottage on Anzac Day evening to find freshly made Anzac biscuits waiting for our supper and the heating turned on which was so nice as the evening had turned quite cold. The wood burning fire was laid ready but we didnt use it as we returned late each evening. It was a quiet retreat after spending hectic days with our daughter and our 2 grandchildren.

Beautiful little cottage, very simple, basic amenities which is what we prefer when going on holiday with our two young kids. Minimal walking distance to beach, easy parking and walk into town. Really nice stay…

My wife and I felt very ease, comfortable and secure in the cottage. Surroundings are rustic and relaxing.

Sue and Tonys place was absolutely perfect. Ticked all the boxes for the perfect weekend getaway. House was way better than expected. Imaculatly clean, all essentials provided, comfortable beds. So much to do on site! We didn't need to leave all weekend. Best part was kayaking in the dam and feeding and patting all the animals on site, including sheep, cows, alpacas and the kids favourite- Hilary the kelpie. Sue and Tony went out of their way to make our stay as incredible as it was. Dont hesitate to book this accomadation. We can't wait to be back!

Lovely location to stay if you want to explore South Gippsland esp Wilsons Prom:) I really enjoyed the stay over the long weekend - peaceful surroundings and homey environment. Lisa is very responsive and offers very great advice around local cafes - I really love it!! Definitely would love to book again in future:)

We had a wonderful time in Tocumwal at Mary and Ben’s the place was fantastic really comfortable with everything we needed and our two boys adored the outside space with the amazing pool with warm water to swim in. It is a beautiful and peaceful area. Walking distance to gorgeous Tocumwal with so much to do. We canoed and paddle boarded on the river and loved it all can’t wait to come again. Thank you Mary and Ben for a brilliant stay.
