This is definitely a peaceful oasis to stay at after a long road trip. The gardens with all the hidden places to sit and read or meditate are amazing! So glad I found this place! Worth every penny.

Being that this is my 5th year in a row staying with Grady, it's not much more I can say because clearly the fact that I return yearly speaks volumes to how amazing of a host he is.

I loved my stay at the Malvern Depot! I walked on the Wabash Trace Nature Trail from Council Bluffs to Malvern that day and was expecting a simple and boring small town. I was surprisingly mistaken! Malvern is a great town. The depot is an awesome place to stay along the way; clean, comfortable, and cute. It is a short walk from 2-3 places to eat, Casey's, a grocery store, the art church, and local festivities. These things are usually unheard of in a town with about 1000 people. I had a great walleye dinner at the cafe. Then, the town was hosting a STEM event for the children, which included a band and a ballet performance by the Des Moines Ballet. I can't believe I had such great luck. Then the next day, I walked to Ike's Place in Shenandoah. I asked Cheryl if she knew anyone who I could pay to pick me up and take me back to my vehicle in Council Bluffs, and she offered. So, I met Cheryl and her sister, Marsheila, and had a fun ride back. Thanks, Cheryl!

Fantastic getaway!!!! Very peaceful, awe-inspiring sunrises. Beautiful evenings on the patio with a lovely view and a nice fire! We heard owls, bob white quail, saw coyotes, turkeys, roadrunners and deer. After the sun went down, Sasquatch had a beer with us around the fire! Pretty good guy, once he loosened up a bit! Outdoor shower is a great experience! Definitely a great place to relax and get away! We’ve been here many times and hope we can get back soon! Jennifer is a great host!!!!!

Loved staying at Rebecca's. Quiet and peaceful surroundings, and we loved feeding the cows! Cabin is clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for just one night with our pups and it was perfect for a quick getaway. Kathleen was very clear in her instructions and check in was easy and quick. The pups loved roaming along the path in front of the house. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing fishing getaway experience for Me, my father and my son. Cabin had a rustic feel with a beautiful deck and outdoor cooking area. Most relaxing showers. Very quiet and peaceful. Caught lots of great fish all a few steps away from the back of the deck. Great hosts. In reality the place was worth a bit more than what we paid for it. Hope to make it a go to vacation spot.

Gale went above and beyond to make this an amazing visit! She had tasty treats available upon our arrival (asked about any food allergies ahead of time), gave great recommendations for the next leg of our trip, and served us a great breakfast before we hit the road again. We will be sure to come this way again!!

I was looking for a peaceful and quiet place, slightly off the beaten path. This was perfect; beautiful plains all around, clean and restful.

Booked this for my parents 31st anniversary getaway. They really enjoyed the home and how close it was to the Palo Duro canyons. They felt right at home and even enjoyed the happy anniversary note. Thank you so much. 10/10

The place is great. The tiny home is a place that myself, and friend agreed we could live at, easily. The geese with their goslings are cute, there is a lake with an island, kayaking, quiet neighbours, many stores are 10 mins or less away, basically anything you could want. I just felt bad for oversleeping and leaving cleaning for the housekeeper/s before my departure.

As a frequent female solo traveler, I look for affordable yet safe stays that also grant me close access to my destination. Michelle's place checked all the boxes. I felt very safe, comfortable and was super nearby to a ton of food, shopping and downtown Tulsa. Would stay here again if I'm ever back!

Vicki’s place was the perfect spot to break up our drive to Denver! It’s small but functional. The town is also very small, but the cottage is right next to a grocery store and a pizza place. We stayed there both on the way to and from Denver, and I’ll definitely stay there again the next time I’m traveling that way.

Very nice stay, it was definitely worth it. Stayed here for my wife’s surprise birthday weekend. Loved the hot tub and bath tub :)

A beautiful spot to get away for the weekend and enjoy everything that nature has to provide. It’s a spot that I would definitely revisit and take advantage of things I didn’t get to this time around.

Staying in a hobbit house was like stepping straight into the pages of The Lord of the Rings. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the round door, the grassy roof, and the cozy, rustic charm that oozed from every corner of the space. Whether you’re a Tolkien fan or just looking for a unique getaway, staying in this hobbit house is an absolute must. We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and a little reluctant to return to the real world.

Exactly what we were expecting. Loved the privacy and the hot tub was so wonderful!

We decided to have a mini stay at Derek’s cabin, which looked like the perfect peaceful getaway — and it absolutely was, even though our trip was cut short by something no one could have predicted: a rural water main break. Unfortunately, this meant there was no running water. That said, Derek was incredibly responsive and apologetic about the situation. He offered us a refund or a credit for another weekend, which we really appreciated. We’re definitely planning to come back and enjoy the full experience soon. The cabin itself is rustic, adorable, and just what we love — clean, cozy, and perfectly set up for a quiet, relaxing stay. It had everything we needed, and we can’t wait to return under better circumstances.

Brant was very responsive when I texted him. Enjoyed walking the property and enjoying the beautiful views, along to watching the donkeys and chickens…so peaceful. I so enjoyed looking at all the different musical instruments all throughout the Airbnb. Very clean and comfortable. This is one of my favorite places I have stayed. I also put a puzzle together which I hadn’t done in years.

A relaxing and beautiful stay in a tucked away cottage on a working ranch. You get exactly what you expect and then some. The host is incredibly welcoming and you feel right at home. We would love to stay again.

Jim was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in a couple hours than scheduled. He was friendly and made me feel very comfortable traveling with my daughter. This was my first experience staying on a shared property but Jim made me feel welcomed and safe. We didn’t get to use the outdoor amenities but if our stay would have been longer it would have been a perfect spot to relax and soak up some sun and read a book. The loft was such a fun experience for my girl and I.
