Our stay at The aKa Stables LLC was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the peaceful atmosphere and stunning country-meets-urban charm. The home was beautifully maintained, with modern amenities that blended perfectly with the rustic elegance of the stables. The attention to detail was outstanding-everything from the comfortable beds to the fully equipped kitchen made us feel at home. The fresh farm eggs, local produce, and baked goods were such a thoughtful touch! The view from the deck was breathtaking, offering a perfect spot to relax. Phil was a fantastic host, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Whether you're here for a quiet getaway, an equine retreat, or a special event, this place truly has it all. We can't wait to return!

This place was so cute! I was impressed with all of the details...all about chicken and roosters. It was spacious and exactly what I needed. Tim was always very responsive whenever I had a question.

Lasada Lodge did not disappoint. The only place you will find better service is at your mother or grandmother’s house. They even offered to help carry luggage in. The premises were well maintained. My group was discussing opportunities to return because it was peaceful even with the shooting range close by. You are treated like friends or family by the host.

It was a clean and quiet stay for the most part the horse was a little noise at times but what do you expect with a living animal lol but other than that it was an enjoyable stay and the chocolate pumpkin bread is so good definitely give it a try

The Hobbit House was as much a forest inside, as out! A completely unique setting and structure with every detail thought through. We lacked nothing and enjoyed everything. The waterfall was such a nice bonus and the wildlife was evident all around us. We saw a bobcat in the woods. Butterflies were constant companions. Birds a-plenty. Truly a magical retreat!

We have stayed at the ranch 2 years in a row for our Bass Tournament on Hubbard Creek Lake. An easy 15-20 minute drive to the lake and plenty of parking for 3 trucks with Bass boats. The sleeping arrangements also work out well for multiple men to each have their own beds so any hunting or camping trips work great with this place. The kitchen and outdoor areas are great as well sitting on top of a hill overlooking the ranch. Highly recommend.

This was our first stay in the Renovated Barn, but not the first time to the property. We stayed in the Aggie House a few months back and just knew we had to return to Mark and Jamee's beautiful property whenever we could. The barn is a bit larger than the Aggie house, with a full-sized kitchen and larger living room space, but it still holds all the charm, comfort, and coziness. And they've preserved the history of the old dairy farm in such a lovely way throughout the space. We spent hours on the covered front porch reading, eating our meals, watching the friendly chickens, petting Mark and Jamee's sweet dog, Ralph, when he'd make the rounds, and thoroughly enjoying the breathtaking view. Even when we had a downpour of heavy rain, the front porch was the perfect spot. We're so lucky to have this getaway space within a few minutes of our home!

Rhonda and Duane have thought of everything with their place! We will definitely be staying again and look forward to it! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay or better hosts in our travel circumstances! ❤️

The barn was perfect! There was lots of room for the humans and dogs. I would rate it “10”. Comfortable beds, excellent shower, magnificent kitchen, big tv, and comfortable seating. The grounds were stupendous. I loved watching the chickens! We all kept remarking how well built the place was. It’s nice to stay somewhere where the builders paid attention to details. We plan on going back next year.

The house was beautiful and looked just like the pictures! They had a lot of games to play, good TV, and the shuffle board was fun! This is a great place to have your whole family stay! We were in town for my oldest son’s wedding and it was perfect for my whole family to stay in and spend extra time together! Made our whole experience even better! 💕

We loved our stay at the Longhorn Get-a-way. The description and photos did not capture how beautiful the barndominium is decorated with extra attention to detail. It was well stocked with everything we needed plus more. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space, sitting in the rocking chairs and watching the wildlife. The longhorns came up to the fence and enjoyed receiving the feed provided. Wonderful weekend with great hosts. We have already started planning our next visit and can’t wait to return!

Karon is a wonderful host! We have stayed at Reata Ranch several times, and the house and hospitality is excellent every time. We enjoy seeing the upgrades with every visit. This time it was more rockers on the front porch and a new rock sidewalk. We will definitely stay again! Karon is the best!

A very unique and fun place to stay! The host is very responsive, checkin/checkout is incredibly simple, and the place/amenities are just as described. Would recommend!

We were six couples and there was ample room for everyone to be together or spend time alone. The place is spacious, peaceful and we loved the game room and fire pit.

We really enjoyed our visit. We were amazed at how quiet it was. During the day you could hear birds chirping and a slight breeze rustling through all those great mature trees on the property. Lots of available shade, which will help when we visit again in the summer. Yes, we are definitely coming back. Brent was super communicative and prepared us so well for our little vacation. The barn is out of this world - big screen TV, Blackstone grill, dining area, living area with a couch and side chairs, 2 cooling units and a huge ceiling fan. We did some golf putting. Although we didn't use them, they had badminton, horse shoes, croquet and lots of other outdoor and indoor games. To sum it up, we had a great time and are looking forward to returning. Fantastic place with with excellent hosts. Quiet, private and very nice location. Has everything you need and then some. Bill and Dawn were very friendly and accommodating. I greatly appreciated all the extra touches that made me feel welcome and right at home. Highly recommend staying with them if you need a relaxing place in the Denton area.

A perfect spot for a large group get away. Plenty of space inside for sleeping arrangements, seating and eating. Outdoor space on 2 levels of deck. Large yard with lake access for fishing. Plenty of parking. House is at the end of a quiet street, very secluded. There are 3 bedrooms and the long dining table downstairs. The 2 bunk rooms, kitchen and smaller dining table upstairs. We would definitely recommend, especially for a larger group that wants to stay together. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

This place is cozy, quiet, private and absolutely gorgeous!! We have stayed on the property twice now and LOVE it. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We especially love sitting on the front porch and upper deck, walking the trails on the property and loving on the dogs and the cat. We will be back for sure.

We had such a wonderful stay this past weekend! The place was spotless, peaceful, and even more beautiful than the photos. The view was incredible and made for the perfect backdrop to unwind. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming—truly went above and beyond. We have a newborn, so finding a quiet, comfortable, and clean place was important to us, and this stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

It was a very nice place, and well appointed. Extra “little things” included, which I appreciated! The ONLY 2 things that didn’t work for me had nothing to do with the accommodations. 1. It was too far from where my brother lives. 2. NO IDEA WHY, but my dog was not fond of the place. She moped about the whole time. 😂????😩

Sarah was once again a great co-host! She is always very responsive and adaptable to our ever changing needs! We appreciate her extra insight to the ammenities and attractions near by the house. The "guys" annual fishing trip was once again a huge success! Maybe next year they will get to actually fish!

AMAZING stay with our infant daughter and dogs - we only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer! The barn is right next to a cow enclosure, and the cows are very interested in dogs 😁 Also just 5 min drive to Cadillac ranch, which allowed us to visit there during sunset and sunrise! The barn itself is very cozy yet clean / uncluttered. We were welcomed with brownies and a very clean, full kitchen (including a dishwasher, which was convenient for washing our baby bottles). The bed is very comfortable, and the entire studio is spacious like in the photos. Plenty of bathroom essentials were provided. It was also super convenient to have an in unit washer / dryer for laundry in the middle of our road trip. Doggie bowls and blankets were also provided. Very nicely decorated as well in the barn! Very quiet and peaceful. Only thing to note is that you can hear birds on the roof in the morning but didn’t bother us!
