I stayed here on my husband's birthday, who likes saunas, to make some lovely memories. I was able to spend a luxurious time away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with only the sounds of birds, insects, and trees. It was a completely private space, and I was able to relax and heal from the fatigue of the day. The room was stylish and beautifully arranged, and the women were particularly happy with the luxurious amenities.The owner introduced us to some recommended spots in the neighborhood, and the quick response was very reassuring. They also prepared local ingredients, and I had a great start to the morning♪ I'd love to stay again.

The cottage itself might not be traditional Japanese architecture but the inside definitely is. Taller people could experience some issues but it's manageable with a little care. The kitchen is well equipped but the space is limited and if you prepare a lot of dishes at the same time, it's quite annoying. Would definitely recommend to use a rental car because you can access most restaurants and supermarkets within a couple minutes, as by foot, it can be a real pain to walk every time you need something. Overall a nice experience and would definitely recommend for larger groups up to 6 people.

My husband and I stayed one night.It was just around the time to see the autumn leaves, and it was a very calm environment with a colorful autumn leaves around the area. It was really perfect for relaxing away from the city, and I slept for the first time in a long time.The outside terrace was also large, and the breakfast in the beautiful air was exceptional. The dishes and futons are also very clean.We'd love to stay again for our consecutive holidays.

Really great, large, and quiet place with sea view. Host responds super fast. Nice kitchen and bath tub. Convenient self check in/out screen.

I used it on a trip with my family of 5.The wood-burning sauna, water bath, and location were all great. Thank you. I was able to use the😊 wood-burning sauna without♪ any problems.The temperature also increased, and it was a great holiday. We would like to use it again.

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a wonderful experience! The accommodation was very clean and spacious, perfect for two people. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom was also nicely maintained. While the location is in a residential area and not close to major tourist spots, I found this to be a plus for a peaceful and quiet stay. Having a car made it easy to explore the surrounding areas. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

I enjoyed swich while relaxing in a natural place surrounded by greenery. All the equipment in the house was clean and we had a comfortable stay. I will use it again if I get a chance.

Very friendly owners who hosted us well and helped us. The apartment is very clean, well-equipped. There is a private parking. There is some noise from the street and road, which is reduced during the night.

Peaceful little stay in a simple cottage in the woods. We picked berries and had a wonderful bbq. Walkable distance to the river and even spotted wild deers! The hosts were extremely hospitable and accommodating - we even got to try fresh wasabi from their farm! We will be back to stay and definitely recommend staying to anyone looking for a city break.

So amazing to wake up to that view and walk out onto the beach. The apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay and the host was very helpful and friendly. There are body boards you can use for free. Only note for other guests is you cannot stand upright upstairs so that can be challenging with a young baby, but that is not the fault of the property!

It was a very nice place to stay with an ocean view from anywhere. There was a barbecue on the first floor and charcoal was provided. It was great to bring outdoor chairs to the deck on the 2nd floor and drink beer while looking at the sea. I noticed this after I got to the inn, but I noticed that the sun rises from the front of the ocean in front of you, and on the morning of the second night, the weather was good and I was able to see the sunrise from the horizon. I asked a few questions, and it was helpful that you responded quickly. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

Cotora is the perfect beach house complete with a full kitchen and outdoor shower. It is a short 2 min walk to Irita Beach which was our favorite in the area. The Tokai Bus picks up just a 3 min walk away, too. In June, there were two restaurants open near us on the beach, Copa, a beachside Cafe, and FermenCo, a killer sourdough wood-fired pizza joint. Toraya was very helpful well in advance of our arrival and provided directions for the bus and nearby grocery stores. Shimoda is just a 5 min or so bus rode away and has a great seaside town vibe. We cannot wait to return. The only problem I foresee is having to compete with the readers of this review for availability!

There were a lot of rooms, so it can be used by other families and children.

It was very clean and fun.

Very comfortable stay. It is surrounded by nature, so there are a lot of insects, but I think it is a good location, including that. The starry sky, which you can't see in the city, was also a great memory.
